Went here for my birthday with family and we all had so much fun! A few of us had been to an escape room before and most of us hadnt. It was really fun trying to solve the puzzles and piece together clues and we escaped with just 5 minutes to spare. We will definitely be coming back.

The guy I spoke to on the phone and met at Enigma was extremely kind and helpful. He was a very enthusiastic person, who made my experience amazing! Everything was explained clearly, and he was happy to answer any questions I had. Additionally, its the most affordable and unique escape room place in Bloomington, in my opinion. I had a great time, and I would definitely recommend it to others.

The gentleman working was SUPER nice. My partner and I went by ourselves to the The Woman of Dunn Woods and it was a blast! Hard enough we needed to help to finish, but not sooo hard we got frustrated with each other. I highly recommend going. Well definitely be going back. Loved that you could tell there was a LOT of love put into room design and layout. Definitely not corporate and thank goodness.

I really enjoyed my experience here. The puzzles were fun and original, while not being so obscure as to make it impossible to solve. It was also fun talking to the designers afterwards. The puzzle we did had a Bloomington twist, which was also really neat. Id definitely recommend going here!

Super fun and detailed rooms, clues and puzzles are organized and challenging but not impossible. Great experience! Planning on going back to get all the rooms.

Loved our experience! My boyfriend and I picked the Death by Chocolate room then came back later that day to do the Dark Carnival. Both were super fun & the right level of challenging for the two of us, but would also be fun with a group. Scott and David were super friendly and hospitable as well. Would definitely recommend to locals or visitors!

We were on a work trip and decided to do this as a team building exercise. The room we did was really fun and required clever thinking or engineering, since we solved a puzzle in a way they hadnt seen before. The gentleman who hosted us was very nice and took time to get to know us. Recommend giving this place a try if you havent.

It was fun. Rooms weren’t as complex or as well decorated as I’m used to but the whole room and clues were well thought out. Everything worked as it was supposed to and the two guys who ran it were very friendly

My wife, two kids, and my neighbor really enjoyed this activity. It was a great way to spend an hour and we managed to escape in the last minute that we had less. We got clues right when we needed them and the puzzle was really fun. Thanks for a great time and we will definitely be back again.

The place was epic! We loved it. It was our first time and we went for the hardest, the horror story. I dont want to say anything about the puzzle, but the staff was very nice and the puzzles were really well thought out and well engineered

So much fun! Id suggest to anyone. Awesome team building activity but listen to staff as games arent easy. As a first timer with a group of kids less than 10yo Ill tell you we needed a lot of help! Thanks to Scott he was so patient and helped us way more than I expected. He even allowed us more time bc of our struggles. We are all now hooked to escape rooms and cant wait to visit this location again.

I have never been to an escape room before, but I have been wanting to for a while. My friend and I went one afternoon and had a blast. We loved it so much we went back the next day! They did a great job with the puzzles. It was a lot of fun and just enough of a challenge. (We did not escape the first room, but there was only two of us. They even let you finish if you dont escape!) I love that its a Mom and Pop place so they make their own rooms and puzzles. I cant wait for more rooms. I plan on going back as soon as the next is done. Thanks Enigma!

Five family members, ranging in age from 23 to 78, took on the Death by Chocolate challenge. We had a great time and , with a few hints, were able to solve it with only 7 seconds on the clock. We are all anxious to try another challenge in the near future. Thanks Scott your enthusiasm and creativity made it a really fun experience!

Truly unique escape room— in every sense! With a “Mom and pop shop” kind of feel, they’re low tech but still one of the most intricate rooms I’ve played. Owner clearly loves the games it shows in the depth of the puzzles and storyline.

We’ve done a couple dozen escape rooms and the carnival at Enigma was one of my favorites. Production value was not as high as some others, but the puzzles were great. Just the right level of difficulty. Met the owner, too, and he was very nice. Will come again for sure.

Brought the kids and we had a great time. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the puzzles were appropriate for all ages. Thanks. Liked it so much that we went again about 10 months later and had another great time.

I cant praise Enigma highly enough. Clever storytelling, stellar service, and enthralling puzzles - its Bloomingtons best and brightest escape room by a country mile.

My boyfriend and I have done about 65 escape rooms all over the country. Im going to be honest, before we walked in we thought it was going to be garbage. Fortunately, we were way wrong. The room was well thought out and very fun! The room was low budget and not very much technology but it didnt need it. Everything worked! You can tell the room designer was passionate about making a good escape room. Great to see a small start up escape room do a great job. Too many times we have been to low budget rooms that someone threw together with no thought, effort, or consideration to make a quick buck. Enigma was not one of those! Kudos Enigma!

You gotta try this place once. Bit pricey. They should have better rate structure. Other than that it was great. Very friendly service.

Came down to visit my son and was looking for something we could do that the whole family might enjoy. My son was somewhat pessimistic about going, doubtful we could escape ... and we didnt lol... but despite failure, he, and the rest of the family had a great time and are excited to try again sometime. I also have no doubt that this is in part, due to the very friendly, and welcoming staff. Thanks for helping to make our visit/get-together, fun!

These guys are pros! I had never been to a place like this and we chose it based on some friends recommendations. There were six of us. What a blast! We are all in our early 60s, so you dont have to be a youngster to do this. Handi-accessible and handi-friendly as well. We were all very impressed with the intricacy of the puzzles and the thought that went into everything. Great customer service. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

A lovely escape room! Puzzles were challenging and the staff was super enthusiastic about the rooms :) While not fancy or high-tech, the room we did definitely didnt need to be either. Would recommend!

Really fun and the workers were really nice.

We went there because friends told us it would be a good time, but we found the staff to be unwelcoming and we felt like we were bothering them. We have done other escape rooms in Nashville, TN. This is not what we expected from an escape room. We wont be back to try any other rooms when we come to town for family trips.
