Just had our daughters first birthday at Wonderlab, and everything was great! From the initial inquiry when choosing a party space, to the present staff on the big day, everyone here is just wonderful. I cant say enough good things about them! Tons of great activities and learning material too, but the Wonderlab staff family is really what makes the museum so great. I definitely recommend!

This place has so many things to do! So much learning to be had! There is a water table, air tunnels, pulley chairs, a nail bed, a climbing structure, bubbles, magnetism activities, and so much more just in the first floor! On the second floor there is a saltwater aquarium, snakes, lizards, an ant farm, engineering activities, hissing cockroaches, building activities and more including a bee hive! There was so much to see and do that we spent 2 hours there with our 4 and 2 year olds. They loved it! Highly recommend this if you have kiddos needing to get some energy out. Perfect rainy day activity.

My daughter loved the WonderLab! She dressed up as an explorer with a cute little hat and vest and she also had a magnifying glass. When we were downstairs she didn’t seem to be enjoying anything (she was a little too young to understand anything), but as soon as she got upstairs and the magnifying glass was in her hand and she put the costume on it really made her imagination come alive. Will definitely have to come back as she gets older. We also ordered her a magnifying glass at the end of our day and it is still one of her favorite toys because she draws it back to that day. ️

I wish there was something like this near to me in Cincinnati, Ohio. I think this place is better then any childrens museum I have been too, including Indianapolis. Kids are all about manipulating their surroundings and this place aces that curiosity. My kids are 2 1/2 and 6 1/2 and both loved it. There were several friendly staff members wondering around anxious to show the children how things worked

This educational activity center encompasses everything you’d hope for so many age ranges. They offer a bubble center, a climbing vine, a nail bed, animal exhibits and so many more! I love that they started the science sprouts program for the eager younger scientists. They also recently added a mind control device in which you can move a ball with just your mind. Seriously neat! The staff are always kind and i think it’s great they offer reduced annual passes for lower income families to encourage STEM for all. As a participant in the adventures of the WonderLab as a child, I love experiencing the growth of this museum with my child.

This is one of the most amazing places Ive ever taken my kids. I drove 3 hours and spent alot of money on a hotel just to go here. It was worth every penny I spent plus more. It is completely interactive and encourages your kids to use their minds. It was low cost to get in and doesnt look big. But I promise you will spend hours here.

This place is awesome for little ones. Both of my children (5 & 3) had a blast! Its like all of the hands on items from the childrens museum squeezed together in one place. My children loved the bubble station and water station the best. There are a lot of hands on things for all ages. I even had fun playing in the bubbles . If u are in the area, i highly recommend stopping to check it out.

My kids are 9 and 12. This place was great for them though I was worried because when we arrived there were a lot of preschoolers having a ball too! In fact I had fun myself and I’m 45. Everything (except some snakes and fish and adorable lizard upstairs) is hands on. Cubelet robots, bubbles, catapults, pulleys, water tables, a climbing structure (netted for safety) the height of the museum (2 floors). Earthquake table for building on. Fun with shadows. Animation “studio.” Air blower with ping pong balls. Parachute drop. Heartbeat drum, gravity race, magnets, electricity. A bed of nails (fun for everyone). This isn’t a museum with huge sponsored exhibits (that I noticed). Everything’s built to play with.Street or nearby garage parking unless you take public transit. Vending machines and gift shop. Your kids can’t get (truly) lost even in a crowd because of the size and layout.

What a great time we all had! There was something for our two-year old, our five-year old and our seven-year old to do. To watch each of their little minds soon in excitement as they learned things about science, music, animals, etc was amazing! We will definitely be back many more times! We need more places like this! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

The wonder lab is a lot of fun. However you can get bored really easily. Especially when there are a lot of people there. The good thing is they are trying to fit more things to do in there. I would love for this place to grow more. I highly recommend the wonder lab. However if you see that its busy expect to get bored. The issue with the building is all the wasted space. They have two bathroom sections one down stairs and one upstairs. They could get rid of one of them.

It had lots of great exhibits that showed science in fun new ways. It was super fun and even had an area for very young children to explore science to their level of understanding. All of the exhibits were adult friendly as well so you could go alone or participate with your child. This is nice especially if your child is more timid so you can show them first and give them the confidence to try the experiments for themselves. The upstairs had several animals on display as well. However, there were quite a few animal exhibits that were empty upstairs which made it look a little sloppy. It was also a little small for my taste.

This interactive science museum was awesome!!! Great for children of all ages. Even the adults have a great time. The neat bugs and lizards wers something we didnt expect to see but we were so excited to check then out. We explored the top floor first. Which had neat construction themed building along with challenging puzzle building. The main floor had many activities. The play area for young children aged 1-5 was perfect for interactive play. The water works area is a favorite for everyone. The duplo blocks were a great addition to the water area. The robot building area was a 7 year olds dream. The trial and error of figuring out how it all worked was well worth the time. You can also take your lunch break in the garden area out side next to the building. The garden was a good place to decompress from the playful noises. This museum is a wonderful place to take your children if your in Bloomington IN.

I was told about this place by a co-worker who took her children here a few times when they were younger. Arrived with my 7-year old boy at 11AM on a Sunday. I was very surprised that within 30-45 mins it was fairly busy! Glad we got there early. There is so much to do and everything is very hands on. Son got to watch them feed the starfish. He really enjoyed all of the exhibits and we ran out of energy before exploring them all. Had to leave due to hunger after about two hours. Keep your receipt, it will get your re-entry the rest of the day. The gift shop was meh. Lots of young employees walking around to assist you if needed. Everyone was very friendly and I felt it was relatively clean. Honestly, I think I had just has much fun as our son playing with the exhibits.
