Very nice area for a walk. Wide flat trails. No fishing in Ikes creek. I was surprised at how popular it was. Parking lot was almost full.

Easy access to river areas with wildlife. Quiet place to walk or run. Free parking with a gradual hill down. Summer time theres a biffy. Connects to Cedar and further west trails along Bloomington. Ponds used to be stocked with bass hence the name. Some airplane traffic above depending on which runways are open at MSP. Easy walking trails.

Beautiful nature and nice walkways. But occasionally very noisy due to low flying aircraft.

Nice birding in an urban setting. Only drawback is the heavy jet traffic.

Love fishing the ponds with my sons. A quick stop this morning 10/2/2018 on my way to airport to return home to Georgia we caught a couple of nice size Northern pike.

Great nature trail. Lots of bass in the ponds. Lots of garbage in the first pond. Picked up 4 bags of litter within 30 minutes and didnt even get around the pond. Help pick up and throw your garbage away. Just sad to see when you walk through a beautiful path.

Fun and beautiful park and really close to the Mall of America. We went on a healthy 5k with my conference group and I ran fast without even feeling tired because of the low elevation for a mountain desert girl like me.

I enjoyed a 4.46 mile walk here - It was close to my hotel and The Mall yet is far enough away to feel secluded (Save for the jets flying above). There isnt much to it, which is the best part. Its quiet, clean, and there are a lot of trails and places to hike, bike, chill, fish, bird watch etc. The biggest draw back I had noticed were the damn flies - bring bug spray.

A nice little park. Some trails, some bass ponds, a small creek runs through it. There really is not a whole lot to it, but good for a nice walk. Connects to the MN River trail which can take you all the way to Shakopee.
