Nice park with some playground equipment, basketball and tennis courts, a little skateboarding area, and trails through the woods. It seemed great, but the trails were too rough for our stroller so we couldnt explore much of the trails, which is why we went.
This park is quite large for the town and provides a good hike all times of year. Mostly forested with interesting rock formations and hills. People walk and bike here. Low to medium challenge hike, very convenient.
Great spot to hike or run. So much to see if you can get the most out of all the trails. Theres a ton of rocks and steep hills to climb, but also relatively flat trails.
Great for a family hike to get the kids out of the house during these tough times. Its a very nice walk for all.
The trail was very clean and not alot of people out and the weather was a beautiful fall morning
Little gem in the middle of Biddeford! Trails that are fun and challenging! Should be seen to believe!
Beautiful park, tennis courts, basketball courts, small skatepark, and well maintained network of trails leading out of the back of the park. Dogs allowed, strollers tough but manageable.
Many trail options and very pretty. Good fir kids.
Trails for all ages and capabilities. Story trail is our familys favorite
Okay bike trails and great Bouldering
I spent most of my young years exploring in this park, looking for caves ponds and anything else I could find. Anyone going for a walk needs to check out the waterfall.I love the way the community has gotten together and cleaned up the trails and other areas. The trails are well marked and mapped out. Much more family oriented than when I was growing up.The only improvement I would love to see is more police presence. At night the parties begin and all the trash is left behind. The volunteers can only do so much and kicking the vagrants and partiers out of the park is not in the job description. Maybe a couple patrols in the evening by local PD would limit this from happening.
This place is a beautiful refuge from everyday city life. The trails are great if youre prepared for the weather or bugs. My least favorite time to go is mud season, but it would be fine if I remembered to wear boots. The trails are relatively easy to follow. The trail network feels big but I always manage to find my way back to the car even if I go a route I havent followed before. Friends of Clifford park put on some good programs and do good work there.
Wished they have more picknick tables.
Its a great park and playground the playground has some nice slides swings etc. Also has a skatepark for the older kids. Has some basketball courts and some great walking trails
A great hike and introduction to beginner hikers. A little bit of heaven in the city. The red trail was beautiful and so peaceful. I will definitely be returning.
We enjoyed hiking the loop out around this park. There were wide easy to navigate trails. Adjacent to downtown Biddeford. Lots to see— old quarries, an ancient family plot, and even some wildlife. We saw a bright red male cardinal and a long, reddish brown snake crossing the trail. A great day in the woods.
I drove by but didnt stop ..... dont know how they picked up on that...... I was told by someone to watch out for this place..... drug addicts leave their needles there..... so I have no need to stop there.....
We got to see some of the native homeless population during one of there majestic mating rituals. It was so beautiful and my girlfriend even got pictures.
Strongly recommend. This is a great place to take the kids. Quiet. Easy to get to. Settings and things got the kids. Places to sit. Beatiful views. A great place to get kids undertone while parents relax.
Beautiful little bit of woods, has a waterfall, some boulders and about a 40 to 45ft cliff. Nicely marked trails, has a pond in there in a different location of the waterfall. Overall very nice bit of nature. Been going there for about seven years now!
It was so beautiful at Christmas. They really decorated so beautiful. Such a good holiday cheer feelings
Great place to take a little hike. Can be pretty buggy.
Had a great time! Not as muddy as I thought it would be. Love the waterfall
Well groomed and marked trails easily accessible. Tennis courts and childrens play ground. Free
One of my favorites for trail running or bike rides. Wide paths, a small stream. Just a beautiful spot.
Good views relaxing peaceful is the girl if you want exercise
Good place to park an smoke
Really enjoy the trail system and park.
Nice outdoor park. Probably one of the nicest places in Biddeford, sadly
I grew up on these trails, and if its nature and some fun train to walk or mountain bike, this is a great place! You can find the mud or avoid it... Walk along, through, or over a stream and even find a waterfall. Great place 2 burn some energy and time!
Nice place, lots of trails and restrooms that were clean
My nephews love clifford park
Other than the bugs for a nice place to walk
Great scenery and hiking!! Waterfall is beautiful too
Tons of walking trails! Dog friendly! My dog LOVED it there!
Awesome trails
Mercy
Buggy but a nice walk. Geocache in thirds location is unable to be located
My dog absolutely loves running around at Clifford. The bugs are a nightmore though.
Love this park. Managed entirely by volunteers! Bring a bag to carry out any trash you come across. And bring your dog! Its one of the few voice command dog friendly parks in southern Maine.
Nice trails..better than I expected
Great place for hiking and mountain biking.
Trails very poorly marked.. Got lost several times on difficult trail, ended up having to turn around when the marker lead me to a dead end.. The general/easy trail has so much wasted potential... If only they would either pave it or make it a gravel path, people would visit more.
The park as seen from the front has a playground for children, as well as a full basketball and tennis court. Behind this park are miles of woods to be explored with many sites to see within. Such sites include a waterfall, a huge sliding rock, a frog pond and so much more!
Nice trails to walk in the woods behind the park. The park is rarely busy and its got plenty to do to keep kids and adults busy.
Pretty!
A playground and great trails
Awesome nice environment great trails
This park needs a tune-up its very old and needs updating. The woods are fun though and if your a local , you can easily find your way to the waterfall. Ive walked miles of these woods, you would be surprised what you find and where you exit.
HUGE amazing park right near downtown Biddeford. GREAT for dogs!
Nice place too just walk the dog an think about nothing at all ! I hope they dont pave any trails in this place its nice the way it is
Lots of trails to walk , bike or hike but no motorized vehicles allowed on trails. If you you go here you gotta find Sliding Rock! A steep rock that you can slide down. Just Be Careful.Nature in the city! Bring a picnic!#TheDeafDog
There is a horseshoe pit at this park playground for children basketball courts and now making a skateboard park. Great place to bring family and friends.
We always have a good time. Kids play on the swings and slide first then we go walking in the woods, there are lots of trails. And theres also a basketball court and tennis courts.
A forest in the middle of the city-delightful. Different trails for different abilities. Download the QR code available at the kiosk on your phone for a trail map.
Outs one of my whole familys place to go! Very nice trails and love the waterfall.. however the mosquitoes were in full force anywhere where there was stagnant water suggestion stay Inland for today LOL
Good hiking, dog walking, snow shoeing. Please bring a bag to pack out any trash you see. To get to the Falls take the black, from the kiosk, around to the left to the red (to orient you: the falls are located roughly alongside Parkside Drive). Map is on Maine Trail Finder. Please like Friends of Clifford Park for updates.
Great little park with new little skatepark. Great trails. Swings and tennis courts tiny little piece of paradise in biddo
Fun place love to grill food there
This park is taken care of and you can tell the neighbors love it
Mountain biked = great mix of terrain. White and green are difficult technical trails; I loved them.
Great place to kill time
Park has cleaned up a lot in the past few years. Playground isnt really good for any child over 5. Bathrooms should be opened year round unless they get a porta potty
Great tennis courts and walking trails. There are public restrooms as well.
True Urban wilderness. Clifford is miles and miles of blazed trails of varying difficulty, right in the middle of Biddeford. Hike, bike, run, a real treasure.
Glass is everywhere! Do not recommend taking children here due to the homeless population and garbage.
I love taking walks out here. So lucky to live so close to it.
Amazing trails !
There are a lot of nice trails, but in August it is very buggy. Make sure to use a lot of spray.
A great place to hike, picnic, walk your dogs or even put up a tent for a night!
Great but very very wet.
Love it here
Easy walking trails, small waterfall, quiet, easy for kids too
Only complaint really is there needs to be more picnic tables for people to sit and enjoy the park.
Nice. Easily accessible hike. Several intersecting trails of varying difficulty
A good park to walk in and to play games. Theres a court and lots of paths
A simple, clean park in the downtown part of biddeford. Tenniscourts, basketball and public bathrooms are available. Wooded trails adjacent to park.
Wonderful trails, right in the city!
Beautiful waterfall!!!
Great trial system for riding
Awesome place to hike around!!
I bring my kids here all the time
Great place to hike
Very racist
Should have more actives for the kids to make it a better park area
Nice
Older trees, rock formations, winding trails, views & lady slippers.
