Excellent place for having picnics by the lake and taking a short hike. Very well maintained and clean even during COVID-19. We had a lovely time packing a small picnic basket and eating by the lake. Kids had fun watching the ducks and the small dam. There are also benches to relax and enjoy. Highly recommended if you are in Bend

This park is a nostalgic place where memories are made. It is a tranquil spot with a beautiful River trail that leads to Sawyer and Tumalo further beyond. This quiet retreat in the middle of town is a good place to sit and think..., or play hackey sack.

If youve never been then you are missing out on an epic 26acre park. Camping, Swimming, beautiful old trees, a stage, covered eating area with kitchen, horse shoes, new playground, lots of parking and not too many peoplePlus you are only 3 blocks from all of Brownsville. One of the coolest public parks in the Linn, Benton and Lane county areas

This is by far my favorite park in Bend. The parking is ample always shaded because of the huge gorgeous pine trees. It has a nice cemented picnic area and just a gorgeous landscape grass.Access to the water not that I would suggest swimming. I’m sure the adventurous soul could if they wanted.Further down the walkway is a beautiful landscaped and manicured path. Lots of pets bags dispensary and trash cans to put them in.Truly gorgeous views Deschutes as farther down the path is more of the rapids. The park is also large enough that you don’t feel encroach done. Can be a little tricky to get into but easy to get out and almost dead center downtown Bend!Definitely come see this park it’s worth it.

Pros: This is a wonderful little park. Trails around the water lead you to a small dam and a foot bridge. There are benches, picnic tables, and a covered seating area. Lots of grass to lounge around or throw the ball for your pup. Well maintained restrooms.Cons: Unfortunately, there are LDS and JW pamphlet pushers there almost daily. It can be a little difficult to turn into from the main road.Loved our time here, and people are eager to chat and engage
