This place is an AMAZING spot for you to bring your dog (and kids). Its a GREAT moderate walk to the river. There are a number of off-leash trails to get you there. Heads up - grab a bunch of sticks before getting to the river. The shore side has been cleaned of low hanging branches.Owners toss sticks in the river and the dogs jump in, fighting the current to get to the stick and back onto shore for the next throw. What a great concept to exhurt your animals energy. We travel full-time and Im sure this is one of the best dog parks we have ever been to. We recommend it.PS Watch for butterflies. We didnt see much this trip but found a bunch of caterpillars :) Big giant ones.

Although it is sometimes crowded, it is one of the best places to take your dog off-leash. It is a square mile and has a mile of Riverfront.

This place is an incredible spot to walk your dog. Very short walk to the river where they can swim. Just be careful because some spots on the river the current can be strong.

Not a bad place for an off-leash dog park. A little more of the desert terrain, but my dog had a blast running around. We had it basically to ourselves this last time around, though Im sure there are days when its pretty packed. There were some extra jugs of water in various points of the trails, which was really thoughtful. I dont know if thats part of park maintenance or just a good Samaritan doing something nice, but it was well received. The park is much bigger than I anticipated, so Id like to take my dog back there and explore some of the other trails.

I love this place, so many acres to go hiking and meet other dogs. The only thing that I don’t not like is when people bring their animals that are aggressive towards other dogs. Please if you have a dog that is not nice or doesn’t get along with other dogs please do not bring them here. It’s an off leash area there will be many dogs running up to each other to greet and make friends.

Loved the wide open spaces and off leash hiking/walking for dogs. Only suggestion or improvement would be some basic directional signage for visitors and newcomers.

I used to go here before they “improved” it and had not been back in a while thinking it was ruined! There is decent parking and dog bags and garbage cans for the “deposits”! But it’s not it has MANY trails and access to the river and all dogs are allowed off leash. It’s not far from town. My dogs and I are so happy we went back!

Really like it here at the good dog trail. We have a good dog that is well minded, sweet with a excellent fun loving disposition. All the other dogs were looking to play and our pups had a wonderful time. Note: if you have a mean or aggressive dog, do not come here. thanks.

This is one of our favorite off leash trails/parks ever. There are no fences to keep your dog in, but its a vast area your dog can roam. There are poop bags and garbage cans provided. If you walk far enough you can get down to the river for your dog to swim. The trails are plentiful, a mix of old roads and single track trails.
