Map drops you off at someone’s fancy house and no access. Don’t waste your time.

Easy access by car, or along the river trail by bike or foot. Nice day use picnic areas, room for the dogs to run, and everyone can play in the river.

Meadow Camp is one of the best day use areas in Bend. Period.

Sweet little day use area that provides easy access to hiking trails along the Deschutes River. Be aware that theres a fee for day use ($5 forest service). Also, the road is maintained gravel, but not paved.

Love taking the dogs here to swim. Very nice area just wish it had some bathrooms. Sick of running into people peeing in the parking lot because there are no bathrooms.

I actually cliff jumped off a place in this area and it was a blast! Only recommend for light weight people simply because it was nearly too shallow. The area was mostly cleanly and very nice that it was more secluded than expected.

Decent place to park. Good access to the calm river and Deschutes trail. $5 cost for parking kinda a downer.

Beautiful place to walk dogs and enjoy the river. During certain times of the year it is off leash as well.

It is a great day hike for locals or tourists.

Been going here since I moved to bend. It has always been a family get-together day trip area.

I probably go hiking here at least once a week. There is no turn around so youre so when you feel like going back just turn around. The views here are just spectacular. Every season this place has something different.

Some real nice basalt crack top roping, right next to the parking area. Cool off with a swim after.
