When you cant watch a movie inside, bring the theater outside. Movies in the alley this summer have been fantastic. Hope this continues even after the pandemic is gone.

The threatre should be a must on your movie going list. Small cozy... This is where you see independent, interesting and provocative films that you wont see at the Big threatres. Beer and wine, too!

The coziest little indie theater right in downtown. Near all of the best food and drink and they serve beer, wine popcorn and candy for super reasonable prices. Get there early because its tiny but really worth it, Im considering a bundle of tickets/membership.

The Tin Pan Theater is everything I want in a movie experience and it’s such an asset to downtown. The theater is quaint, comfortable, and unique, and has a thoughtful programming schedule that mixes quite a bit of independent cinema with major releases. If you want to pay $18 to see 20 minutes of a dancing Popcorn before your movie, check out the other theater in the Old Mill. But, if you want a more personal and vintage approach to cinema, then the Tin Pan is your spot!

I love everything about the Tin Pan theater except the seats. It is a great small venue. Wonderful movie selection.Very casual and friendly. Reasonablypriced refreshments. But the seats are old theater seats andvery uncomfortable. You can feel the springs. Two hourson them is torture. So I always bring a cushion to sit on.I wish they would get new seats. If they did I would go muchmore often.

I fell in love with this little independent theater as soon as I walked in. Its cozy, its professional, its something that wholly embarrasses the emerging culture of Bend, Oregon. The films are selected by someone that definitely has an informed palate for unique, and special films. In terms of concessions they have wine, beer, popcorn, some non-alcoholic beverages, and usually some kind of baked good (cake, brownies, stuff like that). You are also welcome to bring in other drink and snack items from around the downtown area. I thoroughly enjoyed the experience and will definitely be back.

I have been going to this theater for over a year now. It never disappoints. The theater seats only 30. The movies are all independent productions and touching and thought provoking. This is what going to a movie is supposed to be like. Also they serve popcorn, wine and beer. Buy some so these guys make money and are successful. We need them to stay around.

Once you find the theater its great, its a little hidden in the alley but we liked both the atmosphere and movie selections. They have both alcohol and snacks, we heard from another couple that they have the best popcorn although we didnt try it.

We went to see the astonishing film, Chasing Ice at the Tin Pan Theater, and what a wonderful experience! Classic, comfy old theater seats, yummy inexpensive concessions, attentive service, and the tickets are so reasonable! The film sparked a hearty conversation afterwards with friends, and all remarked about what a treasure the Tin Pan Theater is for Bend, Oregon. Thank you Tin Pan, for bringing art films to Bend in such a cool space!!

Tin Pan Theater is absolutely a delight. Its small, seating somewhere between 20-30 people in the old-fashioned theater seats, but its cozy and perfect. Your movie experience can come complete with beer on tap and popcorn, and tickets are very affordable. One of Bends newest hidden gems.
