I grew up playing and fishing at Sweet Allyn Park so its always been a special place to me. Its not a fancy park but has some playground equipment and a bathroom. Theres plenty of space for the little ones or dogs to run. Theres a pavilion you can rent with electricity for an outdoor event as well.

This park is a great place to get out of tubing. Its also a wonderful place to have a cookout because there are several grills and a nice pavilion.

Well maintained park with restrooms but no drinking water. The turtle creek flows thru this area and it has a pavillion for shade along with an ancient weeping willow.

We kayaked here on Turtle Creek, and it was relaxing

Good water access

Right on the beautiful Turtle Creek canoe to or from the park on the creek. Play area for the kids, picnic area. Or walk across the creek via the bridge and have a burger or oce cream treat at Shopiere Tap and Soda shop. Also a full sized baseball diamond.

Paddled 14.5 miles from Spooner Nature Park in Darien to Sweet Allyn. Turtle Creek was 8 above normal which is good; otherwise, you will scrape bottom a lot.

Nice tube ride

This is a great place to go kayaking. It gets a little shallow and fast in some areas, but still easy enough for a beginner.
