Cool building and nice addition to the city museum system

Very nice building, the pictures was nice to see a glimpse of the history of Bellingham. But not much exhibits.

My second home. We are incredibly blessed to have the Smithsonian approved Lightcatcher. Best and most amazing museum in Washington State

The Lightcatcher is a lovely venue for this intimate, new curation of Diebenkorns work.

The light catcher is a wonderful museum. Right now they have an awesome display of artwork. So glad I joined the museum. Triple A+.

Excellent display of modern quilts (7/2016) and local native peoples culture and history.

Attended the latest new exhibit Endangered Species and found it deeply engrossing and disturbing. And ironic, too, because of our choices and actions as human beings that endanger other species, we in turn endanger ourselves in time. I plan on going back for another viewing; there is that much to view, take in and reflect, discuss, decide what to do as an individual to make a difference.

Great exhibits, beautiful building

The Lightcatcher Building is beautiful both in terms of the art and the buildings exterior design. You are really in a piece of art when walking these halls. Send the little ones to the interactive museum so they can also enjoy themselves.

Good venue for a small band. Did not explore museum.

Really well-curated collection of exhibits with a focus on Salish sry and history as well as local and regional artists. The museum itself is airy and inviting, with a courtyard for sitting and talking (or letting children now off some steam.) It seems its been a challenge for restaurants to stay in business there and the Lightcatcher was without one at the time of the review. Street parking can be a challenge; use public transit if possible.

The featured selection was an absolutely beautiful display of jeweled pieces and the local native permanent display was very informative and thought provoking. The staff were incredibly helpful. I will go again.

Great family outing for most ages. Family Interactive Gallery ( FIG ) for those with younger kidlets.

Awesome museum with interesting exhibits

When a Bellingham local says, meet me at the museum this is the place they are talking about. Great spot that has a number of rotation exhibits.

Wow ! I love this exhibit

We saw the nat geo photography exhibit, and one on marine life. They were both fascinating, and presented very well. Cool building. A bit expensive for students, but fairly priced overall.
