This was our first visit, and we werent sure what to expect. In short, we were very pleasantly surprised; we loved what we saw of the area, and plan to return soon for a longer visit!Although the parking area where we stopped is very small, the area itself is much larger than we had thought. There is a large signboard with a clear map of the trails, including the length of each one, and whether or not each trail is paved. There is also a posted warning about poison oak in the area, and a picture of the plant. It should be noted that we did see several patches of poison oak directly off the trail. We went for a stroll on one of the paved trails, and loved walking through this beautiful Oregon forest! The trail was smooth, and wide enough for walkers or individuals with mobility devices or strollers to easily pass one another. Also, for those who may be wondering, cyclists are expected to walk their bikes, and pets are allowed on leash. Were eager to continue exploring this beautiful urban forest!!

This park is not very big, but when you step out of the parking area you are immediately in the woods. Hard to imagine that it goes from residential area to actual quiet woods this quickly. Nice place to stroll around with the dogs.

Had no idea this quiet little trail was nestled off the road just around the corner from where we live. Kept very clean, and had cute little signs on the trail asking what he can here and to look out for homes that little animals may live in. Very quiet for being right of a busy road. The creek was very peaceful with very clean, clear water. There is a perfect sized parking lot out front for safe parking with a porta-potty. There is also a couple picnic tables at the entrance with multiple benches through-out the trails. Had a great time. We will definitely come back.

Lovely place to walk dogs on leash and currently for me to escape cabin fever with shelter-in-place restrictions. There are pretty waterways & mini falls where you can almost escape the sound of traffic. Well maintained trails accommodate strollers, wheelchairs or similar mobile supports. The Madrone Loop trail is a lovely, narrower dirt trail that offers change in elevation and closer glimpses of nature.

Nice park in the middle of Beaverton. Once you get inside a little ways its easy to forget youre within the city limits. A cool little, bubbling Creek runs through it adding to the feel of being surrounded by nature.

This is a nice small nature area right in the neighborhood. There is a nice creek running through it. Part of the trail is paved so people with handicaps can use it. There are nice benches along the trail if you just want to take a break but the trail is very easy. You enjoy this little nature area.

This was my first time hiking..ever! The trails were manageable for a first timer. There were about 3 or 4 different paths to take. Plenty of shade due to the numerous trees. A few creeks. I will definitely hike here again.

A good place for a nature walk, especially with a dog. Some educational prompts (animal tracks in the sidewalk, nature questions) to interest kids. Paths are slightly hilly/uneven.

This place is such a serene and peaceful place to go to if you want to be surrounded by beautiful tall trees. I went here with my fiancé to just chill out and read books together. Didn’t seem too busy with people, but that might be because we went later in the day. It has nice park benches and the walkways are paved so you could wear whatever shoes you want. It’s a pretty quiet place because it’s surrounded by residential stuff.

Nice paved central trail that crosses the creek. A gravel ridge climb (gentle) as well as several dirt trails to explore. Family friendly and probably no more than 1.0 mile of trails total all underneath a very nice forest canopy.

Tall trees. Paved and non paved trails. Large enough to have a good walk and you can even take your dog, on a leash. Not very crowded. Nice spell in nature.

I come here allll the time. Its really beautiful, but a bit small. I cant spend too much time here with my dog because we finish all the trails really quickly. (20 minutes or less) Its nice if you already live nearby like me, but if you dont its probably not worth the drive. Overall its really nice though because its quiet and peaceful.

We walk the trails of Lowami almost every day. Despite its relatively small size, the park contains a range of ecosystems, from streamside ash and oak to upland century-old Douglas-firs. During winter and spring, the stream is an added attraction especially when seen from the bridges.

Hard to find it. Especially using Google maps. Finally found the parking area after Google maps kept taking us to a neighborhood and saying wed arrived. Be prepared for a lot of walking. It is a pretty area. But not for a small wedding which is why we were there.
