GPS took us to a parking lot that was marked private property no trespassing, plus there was a cop parked there so we just drove away. There are absolutely no signs in the parking lot for the wetlands and none on the roads leading to the werlands.

The GPS took me to a parking lot to a business park. From here I had walking access to the water and unmarked trails. As I was waiting to my car to hop out, a blue heron flew over me and landed about 20 feet from my car! it was so wonderful to bird-watch. So many other birds such as red winged blackbirds, Canada geese and a variety of ducks.

This place is really awesome. You can walk all the way through these trails to a Max stop and there is parking on both sides. They have dirt trails some trails with bark dust and other trails that have a cement path. I believe you cannot take your dog there because there is so much Wildlife. Coyotes deer and rabbits run through the which I have seen. And theres even more.

Small area but worth a visit for a peak. Great blue herons frequent this spot, and other water fowl.

Google maps takes you near a parking lot that if you know where to go puts you at one end of the trail. I would recommend looking at satellite view before you go so that you can find one of the starting points of the trail. One with a clearly marked sign is actually off of hwy 8 and the other is in a parking lot close to train tracks (not marked). My nature loving daughter (6 years old) enjoyed herself, but there are better nature areas to visit.

This is a short path that starts out parallel to TV Highway, it then curves North and passes by some office buildings and parking lots. There is a nice pond in there somewhere, but calling this a nature area is kind of a stretch. Takes about 10-15 minutes to walk the path.

Be careful out there! I took a walk today here, with my daughter. It was peaceful and nice but then a crazy guy appeared, he was so scary, he cried and screamed and he had a fight with the noises in his head, he pulled his clothes and he started to follow us.. Scariest moment in my life. I grabbed my daughter and we started to walk away as fast as I can... We made it to the parking lot and the guy disappeared. Im not going there ever again..
