This is a pleasant traditional city park. If it is not Saturday, there is abundant parking. Saturdays, the main parking area is reimagined as Beaverton Farmers Market.Overall, you will find a large paved plaza with benches surrounding it, old growth evergreens (adorned with lights in December), a seasonal park restroom with drinking water (currently closed / replaced with portable toilets for COVID19), kids play equipment, and lots of green grass, even in summer. The last detail is important as most parks and schools here allow vegetation to dry up and go dormant in summer. The park is split by a busy city thoroughfare so youll want to watch children and pets are required to be leashed. There are some picnic tables. Unfortunately, it appears the parks concession vendor was forced to close. There is also an adjacent library that has an auditorium with events and a large material selection to browse.

This is actually a pretty cool park, figuratively and literally. There are big trees that cover much of the playground keeping the equipment cool. The fountain is in the open, but the cold water keeps the people cool. During the day there are lots of kids and people.just enjoying the park. If it starts raining you can run across the street (figuratively, use the crosswalk people!) and head into the city library. This park also has restrooms and if they are locked, the library has some. There is a little snack shop on the corner. I havent tried it so no idea what they have or how good they are. But overall a very fun park. The biggest downfall is there are only 4 or so swings. The kids like swings. They need more.

What a cool place for people to gather right in downtown Beaverton. There are picnic tables for gatherings. There is playground equipment for the kids (and adults)! There are movies in the park from time to time. The fountain is a fun place to play for kids and pups. We live having this in our neighborhood. Theres even a food stand in the park that sells wonderful food!

Worst Christmas tree lighting I have been too in Beaverton. One little tent for hundreds of people. The line is so long it circles around the park. The hot cocoa is unfortunately in the tent. The music is only heard in the tent. Not very inclusive to for all people.

I bring my kids here often, whether its to go to the Saturday Market, for the Library, for the playground or in the Summer - for the splash pad/fountain. It is a big park with lots of space. In the Summer you can see lots of families out on the grass with picnic blankets and lawn chairs. The splash pad isnt huge or anything elaborate, but the kids absolutely love it. The playground is on the largish size. Definitely more of a big-kid play structure. Both the playground and the splash pad do get very busy in the Summer and on the weekends - so be prepared. Otherwise, play at the park then borrow some books at the library. She youve had enough of being indoors, head out to the Splash pad and cool off. If youre lucky, the ice cream truck will stop by :)

We play here when we visit the library, when theres a city event, or just when we want a shady place to play. There are several slides on a play structure, swings (including infant and ADA) on the other side from the parking, and a fountain/splash pad (not in the shade), so the kids can stay busy and active for quite a while.

This is a fun park, especially on the very hot days of summer. There is a very nice shaded area where you can picnic, a small playground very suitable for ages 2-7. A large grassy area for running and kicking ball, and a water feature that is very popular when the sun shines. Just across the street is the library so it makes for a very fun outing with options dependent on weather and kids. There is a very nice pathway for strollers/wheelchairs too. Several benches line the sides, makes it comfortable for the adults to sit and watch.

I really enjoy taking my children here. The fountain is usually crowded on hot days but I believe the more the merrier. All the children running around the fountain. Playing at the park a few feet away. Grabbing a snack from the green building or an ice cream at the singing trucks. The grounds are kept clean. And the beat part of all of it. There are practically NO DOGS! I dont hate dogs. I actually love them! I hate stepping in dog doo doo due to irresponsible owners. Everyone here so far is respectful and considerate of the park grounds.

This park is super nice and very fun in the summer time with the water sprinkler they have. Its right next to the public library and the Saturday market they have. There are 5 swings and one decent size slide/play area. The other only downside to this park is it does get pretty crowded. Ive had to wait for my kid to get on the swings before. But overall, its an awesome park. Also, its right downtown so there is tons of things to walk to.

Je
Review №83

Everyone enjoys the fountains. It is fun to just sit and watch the toddlers and the pets approach the water at first with caution, and then just sitting right down and enjoying being cool and wet. I got to see some workmen fixing something to do with the fountains. One man was lowered far down underground in order to adjust the controls. Very interesting.

The park is pretty, and most of the people were solid folk, just playing and watching their kids play. But the transients are an issue that shouldnt be ignored. At least 5 un-homed people(in of itself not a bad thing if needing a roof you pay tax on isnt your thing.) Were always trolling the fringe of the park spanging for cash or loose change. Not in the Witty signs found here. kinda way. Instead, these particular hangers on felt it more effective to go the Im going to make my presence here a REAL nuisance until you incentivise me to go elsewhere. Kinda way. But to Beaverton PDs credit, they did have a persistent presence there and responded quickly when one of the parks other guests called the PD about some guy perving on the kids. Overall okay. But not a park Im going to go to again if I can help it. Parks are supposed to be for relaxation, not accosting guests and soliciting people for money.

This is a decent size park thats in sort of an odd spot. Not private or secluded at all, its in the center of town in Beaverton and surrounded by business. Thats to say, its not the most peaceful place to sit but the beaver town isnt a big city at all so its not like sitting in downtown Portland. Large grassy area good for pets, playground and swing set. And absolutely no parking. You can park in the library lot which borders the park so its *almost* the same thing. Personally I like more secluded and private, woodsy feeling parks where you cant see the whole thing from one end to the other. Not much shade either. Oh yeah Beaverton and Tigard are still the most poorly designs street system Ive ever seen and Im surprised anyone ever gets anywhere with the traffic jams it causes!
