This is a really wonderful place to go for a walk and see some wildlife and nice views. We have been here in the fall mostly. The last time we we saw two does and a buck walking right next to the trail! Remember that when you walk the trails its always uphill on the way back, so take your time if you are not used to the excersise. This is a good [place to start to get into nature hikes.

Such a beautiful and peacefull location. Love all the trails and the mix between between wooded areas and open prairie. One of my favorite places to walk.

The path is about 6-10 feet wide and is small gravel. There is one section that is accessible which is the lower, left corner, yellow path.NO PETS allowed.MASKS required.I have a service dog and definitely wouldnt of been able to do the walk without her. But it was not what I thought it would be. I barely got to take my mask down because there were a steady flow of people. It wasnt the quiet walk in nature that I wanted.I think its great for families and solo walks tho!

Nice small city nature area. Mostly facing south and not much shaded. Wide fine gravel trails with very good signage. Quite a few picnic tables and benches to rest. From the parking lot, all trails go down, so the return to your car always requires going uphill. Overall well maintained trail system. Unfortunately no restrooms were open during my visit (9/5/2020).

Went here with my wife for a trail walk. We did the largest loop and thought it was pleasant. It was only somewhat difficult on very few slight inclines so you could break a sweat. Beautiful scenery and the trails have very detailed maps at every split.

Absolute gem in the local area. For how big and scenic it is, its really surprising it doesnt get more attention.Picnic tables, awesome hiking trails, small play area, photography, some wildlife, etc.Only drawback is its on the side of a large hill, making the trails mostly up or down.

Excellent slice of beautiful nature that is sprawling and long enough to spend a few hours exploring. From wooded trails to open fields, there is a lot of cherish here.Dogs are not allowed (unfortunately), but with that comes calm and quiet one may not get at other nature parks. There are plenty of places to rest as you walk/run and many, many potential pictures to take when taking it in at the moment is finished.Entire families can come and enjoy it. There are no difficult hills or intense climbs. Easy going and beautiful.

A beautiful spot not far from Portland city center. You get the feeling you’re in the woods then a prairie and high desert all at one time. Walking the easy paths up and down, seemed not hard at all. We took our time and enjoyed the learning sign boards and noting the native plants and trees. A good place for a picnic before or after your walk.
