A beautiful view of the Hudson river and Valley you can walk out onto the bridge to sightsee

If you got to get there from here, this bridge will do it. Nice views for your passengers

WORST BRIDGE EVER! MOST BOOTHS ARE NOT OPEN AND THE ONES THAT ARE, ARE ALWAYS JAMMED UP! THE BARRIER ALWAYS GETS STUCK. THEN YOU HAVE TO WAIT FOR A ATTENDANT. THIS BRIDGE CAUSES UNNECESSARY TRAFFIC

Nice bridge to walk. But hard to find where to park. Park on GRAND ave. 325 grand ave. There are two adjacent parking lots next to the path to walk up to the bridge.

I dont even know where to start with this rating. This is a great bridge. Ive traveled it for many years. Toll is $1.50 cash and $1.25 with an EZpass. Rush hour is a bit tough some days but you learn the traffic patterns after a while. You can also walk, or run across it on your feet and not a vehicle too.

Great for exercise. Walking, jogging or bike riding. Beautiful views of the Hudson River.

Ever since construction started there is always crazy amounts of traffic!! I have never walked it. Looks like it would be a nice one but I really couldnt tell you where to park.

Always traffic. Always stupid drivers not in the right lane. Only go because I have to. I would not recommend it at all.

Low toll compared to other in ny metro region. PTL.

A bargain for crossing the Hudson and getting to Pennsylvania or upstate New York. Not always good traffic wise because if construction at times and traffic patterns. But never as bad as the bigger, more traveled bridges in my experience. Good connection for getting to colleges and sights along the Hudson river.

The bridge itself is is beautiful got a nice walk way but the construction just before it is a nightmare once its done its going to be great

I live in the hudson valley and use this bridge often. The east bound span was redecked recently and is in good shape, but because of the construction on the 9w over pass there can be traffic before you get on the bridge. The westbound span is in terrible condition and the traffic can be murder because of the 9w overpass work. The traffic pattern is terrible with the right lane closure and all the traffic coming off 9d onto the bridge.

I am so looking forward to cashless tolls on this bridge. back in 1998 they put in Fast Pass lanes for EZ Pass tag holders. Neither of those two lanes have ever been open for single day and I still cant understand why.

Nothing like a good cantilever bridge I always say! I myself prefer a good old suspension bridge (thus the 4 stars). Still it serves its purpose. I drive my car across it on a daily basis so I can earn money and support my family. If that bridge was not there Id be broke.

Waited at the booth for 15 minutes waiting for the man to give me my E-Z pass back. Then had to ask for it back as he walked away and handed him cash. Absolutely ridiculous

So im rating a BRIDGE????? Ok,so it remained intact every time I crossed it. My wide loads fit and my heavy loads didnt fall through. Must be a pretty good bridge. Think Ill cross it again tomorrow,after the 7-9am wide load cerfew

Not everyone carries cash. To stop traffic and make us go into a building to pay is absolutely ridiculous. Or why not just add the cameras and mail it? Fix your system, please.

It’s just a bridge. Not sure how to review it. I drive over it daily to get too and from work and I haven’t fallen off yet so 5 stars I guess

As long as you have EZ pass the ride is pretty quick unless its rush hour

My late husband and I often drove across the bridge at sundown so we could get down while making the crossing (if you know what I mean!). Many happy memories on that bridge!!!

A long bridge with long history! Theres nothing quite like crossing the Newburgh Beacon Bridge. You get a gorgeous view of the Hudson river as you make the nerve wracking stretch across this narrow laned bridge.

Wish I could rate this a negative 5 b/c the deck surface on the east bound bridge has as many craters/potholes as the Moon.. All my toll money going to good use...

An ok bridge to walk or ride a bike across.. The roads need improvement and its $1.50 for cars at the toll..

The bridge is great but its been in construction for ever it feels like and today it should be closed right away with all the accidents i have seen and the horrible weather. If i were you i would close the bridge before something bad happens!
