Water. A safe paved path to walk, bike, jog, or stroll. Steps, benches and cool Red Beach chairs to sit closer to the Mighty Missisip! Great venue to watch bands and parades. Relaxation at its best downtown. Enjoy your visit(s). Oh, education and photo ops are plentiful. Ciao!

Walking the park is fine, but watch for trains, because the drivers are super friendly! He honked the horn for the kids, and when I said thank you, he honked youre welcome. Had a great time, will be doing this again.

It is so wonderful to see the mirror sculpture, the American Duchess Cruise Ship floating and docked, walking/jogging trails, bikers, skate boarding, visitors and citizens congregating on the River Front enjoying the Mississippi River view. Great place to get your exercise on and it is free. The sunset is gorgeous and a must see. BR Proud!

This is a beautiful place to stroll down or bike. It’s peaceful sitting next to the Mississippi Riverside and watching the tugboats move barges up and done the river. It’s so tranquil and relaxing anytime of year. I throughly enjoyed myself there and will definitely be back.

Really a cool place. In January, with a brisk wind coming off the river, it was very invigorating. Love a waterfront when vessels are visible/in motion.

Its a beautiful scenic place to watch the sunset on the river as you watch the river boats and barges pass by. Its also a great spot to get a run in.

Beautiful place to watch the sunset, just be mindful of your surrounding after dark

Wheelchair accessible trailhead to the Mississippi River Levee Path and Levee Loop (1.5 miles). Water fountain, power outlets, wheelchair ramp, few chairs, stunning view. Walking on top of the levee offers great views and provides a perspective when the Mississippi is at flood stage and higher than downtown Baton Rouge. Anglers, joggers, walkers, photo shoots, I even saw two young women practicing pole dancing moves on the plentiful lanterns.

Now when it comes to the levy this is a place I would go really I go there a lot just to clear my mind just to look at the the river this place is a calming place sometimes me and some friends will go out there just to hang out and chill and really just sit out by the water and talk something really worth doing

It is nice at night, a very fresh air to go with the family or with that special person, boche is a very romantic place to observe the stars, I like it and I recommend it to go to de-stress after a day of work.

You have to get there around 4:30 a.m. before the Democrats get out and its nice. Once the Sun comes out not so much.

Lovely area for an evening stroll! There was a church choir out performing and it was just a pleasant visit.

I dont dislike the place. Its a place I like to go to clear my thoughts. However the pier that sits out over the water. The red chairs needs to be replace they are falling apart but Id truly believe it ; If I was told that certain careless unappreciative beings would destroy anything they can put their hands on. cigarette butts etc. Please if you are one whose damaging a privilage area(s) please reconsider..THANKS!!!
