The botanical garden is located within Independence Community Park. Its really small. It literally can take five minutes if you rush through. Its still beautiful nonetheless. When I went there were gorgeous flowers in bloom. Since it didnt take long to tour the gardens, my family headed to the other side of the park so my son could play on the playground. Overall, a nice experience.

The Botanic Gardens is a very peaceful place to visit. If you just need a beautiful relaxing scenery. If you need a place to sit and think. I would definetly recommend if you were going to have a small wedding or special event.

One of my favorite places to sit and read, draw or just take a stroll. Its located on the library grounds and next to a park, so something for everyone to do!

Love to come to the brec park over there ...my kids love it ! Its clean, safe and fun. Never rally been into the gardens building but..I have heard since they have redid everything that it is very beautiful !

This is a nice place for a walk if you live nearby, or you happen to be going to the park or library already. Not really worth a special trip all by itself. The paths around the outside of the property are in serious need of maintenance.

Although the space may be accessible 24 hours, their website indicates to is open 7 am to sundown.This garden is very beautiful and a nice corner of the Independence Park campus. The Main Public Library abuts the grounds making for a nice place to enjoy an afternoon.

Some of these areas need grooming and maintenance. There are a lot of dead plants along some of the paths. Plants could use labeling for educational purposes.

It is obvious that when the spring and summer come; all the hard work and diligence that went into the garden will be realized.

Lovely place to bring family & love ones...newly upgraded path...colorful planted flowers...and you can even adopt any plants-flowers have your name next to it for others to see.

I was there for the party to kick off one book one community it was fun the library is very nice.

Some flowers were still in bloom but they also had alot of dead plants

Actually went to Tuesday farmers market not the gardens. Some days better than others depending on time of year and weather but always worth a visit.

Nice rose garden and flower beds. Well maintained, but poorly labelling makes identifying plants difficult. BREC should add informational signs about birds and butterflies common around the garden to enhance learning opportunities.

Such a pretty pretty place. Came here for a photography class and spent all day in the gardens. Took approximately 214 photos and they all came out so beautiful. Many different types of things to see and do.

A very serene place. Great for taking a load off your shoulders and reading a good book, especially since the Main Library is right next door.
