They are expanding the park right now. I like this dog park. Its a nice size and the people Ive met there are very friendly. They have 2 sets of double gates foot entree as well as a water fountain for you and your fur baby. I cant wait to see what they are adding with the renovations.

Not quite complete, but coming out very nice! Cant wait to borrow someones Doggie and take them for an adventure at the park!

Ugh I hate that I have to revise my 5 star review of this place but after this past Mother’s Day I feel it’s important to share. Around 1:30pm my boyfriend and I parked my car at the dog park and brought my dog inside the play area. We were there for less than a hour. It was sunny and many people were out. When we went to leave we saw my passenger front window had been shattered. My purse was stolen. We weren’t the only ones. The car a space over from mine had their front drivers side window busted and the owners purse was stolen. This was in broad day light. Do not leave anything valuable in your car if you decide to go to this place. I’m sad to even write this because the dog owners and dogs here are wonderful people.

Nice dog park, but small. Dogs are almost always friendly. Theyve got a small dog pool that always seems to have a hole in it. Dogs are almost always friendly. No lights, and they close at dark, which is very limiting in the winter. Small parking lot nearby. Lots of trash cans & waste bags.

I have a very energetic puppy and it is hard to find a place with other puppies who actually want to play! This place has them! I was so excited to see him letting out some energy with his fellow furry (new) friends. Will return!

Love coming here. You can literally come at any time of day and there are always plenty of dogs for your doggo to play with. They have little buckets hanging along the fence with tennis balls and small toys, kiddie pools, and a nice drink station for dogs. The park is huge and maintained very well. Can’t complain, my dog loves it, and it wears him out.

Well manicured green space, clean, plenty of water. Great place for socializing your pup.

I love there is plenty of room. They have hoses and water fountains for you and your dog. Be careful with the benches and grates theyre perfect size for doggie toes to get stuck and get hurt. Also kinda hate the playground is right there are constantly kids coming in to use the hose to wash their feet off who shouldnt be in the dog park.

It was a very nice dog park. Lots of room for the dogs to run. Nice water fountains and benches. I met lots of nice dogs and their owners. Plan to go back there another weekend.

Set in a pretty park but overused. Mostly dust with little patches of grass and a tiny plastic pool. Could benefit from a bit of oversight as in a doggie behaviorist or obedience professional dropping in from time to time.

My timid dog found friends quick. Hes a little dog but quickly assimilated to the big dogs. Awesome experience, everyone is so nice.

Its okay. right next to a kids park and sometimes people will just let their kids run rampant in the dog park which is crazy to me. the kids even scream bloody murder at the dogs sometimes. its alot of sand but my dog loves that, i just dont! its a good time.

My dogs and I had a great time. The grassy area was free of poop for the most part. It really seems like almost everyone picks up after their dogs. And the pool was also pretty clean. I wish they were more shaded areas of the park though.

The dog park is a large, curvy-shaped site with lots of sand in the center around a large magnolia tree. A wrought-iron fence surrounds the tree, and benches on concrete encircle that. Grass covers more than half the park, though. Numerous benches just inside the exterior fence allow privacy. Because of dozens of trees in the park, many of the benches are shaded, regardless of the time of day.

For the most part everyone that visits is friendly, so do not be afraid to say hello to people at the park. Pay attention to where you walk, as many people do not pick up after their dog. Keep an eye on your dog as some people also do not watch theirs, but fights are very rare.

I got there about 6:30 on a Monday. There was about 15-20 pups ranging in size. Fresh water for the pups and large trees and benches for the moms and dads

Usually very busy. My dogs love it. Some dog owners dont pick up there poop though. Watch your step.

Dog loves the place. Just enough space for him to run around and I can keep an eye on him.

My 6month old lab pup absolutely loves it! Large open area for running and fetch. I do recommend bringing a towel with you. The dog pool is a hard thing to resist for a hot dog.

Its convenient for me because I live down the road from this park. The people are nice and the dogs are usually friendly. Its a little small but I like that because I can easily keep an eye on my dog. Plus he loves the little pools they have. Plenty of seating, waste stations, and hoses for washing off.

This park is at a decent size, but doesnt divide into small and large size dogs. It is adjacent to a kids park but doesnt allow children under 12 which I dont think makes too much sense.

It was clean and a good area, our dog had a big place to run and play and our children had an awesome playground.

Small, but fun dog park. Bonus points for being in the midst of City Park, but it really should be bigger for how crowded it gets. No separate area for small/large dogs and the high number of dogs means the grounds could use some picking up more frequently. If you want more space for your dog, or a segregated area for small dogs, go to the dog park at the end of Burbank.

Dog parks! The one in Burbank is better but this one is closer and still fun.

There are mostly good dogs and good owners who come here. The ground is a bit of a disaster, but that is to be expected of a dog park, I suppose. There is a nice little pool and a small fenced-off area for little dogs, but the fence is usually broken. Please pick up after your pets and yourself; this is not the responsibility of BREC!

Great dog park that is easily accessible, not much besides a place to run and socialize with other dogs.

I come here with my dogs a few times a month. It is plenty large enough for many dogs to play, but I try to stay away at the busiest times (Id guess around 5 to 6 pm most days). If this park had a built in swim area like the Burbank dog park, Id give it 5 stars.

Lots of nice shade from the Live Oaks surrounding this fenced in area. Benches to sit on and kiddie pools for the pups to play in. A hose is at the gate to clean up muddy feet, along with water bowls for slurping after running and playing.

Nice large park. Like most, little control over irresponsible owners. The late afternoon clique that gathers around the picnic table is the worst in not picking up poop or controlling their dogs. I avoid it after 3:00 for this reason.
