I am so spoiled by this theater that I do not like going anywhere else. I frequent here and know many of the staff now. But the seats are so comfortable: the are leather and not stinky clothe, they recline and have ample space. They have $5 movie Tues and great deals and discounts! It is a hidden treasure to many.

Great cinema. Love the luxury reclining seats. The ability to pick your seats while purchasing your tickets is SUPER DUPER GREAT GREAT GREAT!!!!Ticket & food prices were industry standard. Parking is an interesting feat, “shall I park in front the theater & pay, or self park in the garage for free?” You decide.

Great seats and I like the assigned seating. The XD theater was cool as the sound system and the projector are really good. The screen seemed bigger too. The only downside is that you may fall asleep since the chairs are so comfy.

My recliner chair was broken. Wasnt worth the hassle in a sold out room to get it addressed. Otherwise good theater. Alcohol prices are definitely reasonable.

This is the best theater in Baton Rouge. Its got great sound and screens. Great for date nights too. Its in a nice location with lots of shops and restaurants nearby too.

Good cinema experience and discount prices forMatinee showings. The sound and picture quality was excellent and the air conditioning wasn’t unnecessarily cold (as with many cinemas). The parking at AMC locally is more straight forward, but nevertheless I’ve always been able to find a park at Cinemark Perkins Rowe.

The confortable seating is great. Im glad they serve coffee. Now one of the foods I like ordering are the cinnamon and frosting pretzel bites

So let me start off by saying we never go here. The amc mall of Louisiana theatre is our choice. And after my last experience I can totally see why. This past Tuesday we went to this theatre for the first time in I dont know how long. The only reason we, my mother and I, went was because i was desperate to see The Lighthouse since Im a big fan of the directors previous works. We get our tickets and sit down fine enough, arriving just in time and then I try the popcorn. I dont like my popcorn too salty and Im aware that most popcorn is a little too salty. I can live with this as I understand not every experience is personally crafted for me. But this popcorn was so so salty it was inedible. And its not like we got the old bottom of the barrel popcorn. This was new freshly made popcorn that was so salty after 2 small handfuls (I honestly have small hands even for a female) my tongue started feeling raw. So I just snacked on some candy and the drink. But just wait THE WORST IS YET TO COME.About half an hour into the movie, something catches my eye in front of me. To try to give you an idea of where I was sitting, we were sitting all the way to the right at the bottom of the theatre, right before you get to the four or five rows of seats that are way too close to the screen. Now when I see what I see, I convince myself I didnt see it and that it was just a trick of the light from this black and white movie. I continue to try to watch the movie with the creeping suspicion I really saw what I thought I saw.About twenty minutes later, it revealed itself again- A MASSIVE WHITE RAT. The first time, I saw it jump off of the wall right by the right side of the screen and onto the floor where Im sure it gobbled up some stale leftover popcorn. The second time I saw it, the time when I finally realized my eyes didnt play tricks on me, I saw it run and jump back on the small wall by the right side of the theatre and scurry away. I. Was. Horrified. I honestly dont remember the movie past that point because I kept staring at that wall, waiting for it to reappear so I could show my mom Im not crazy. After reading all the reviews about how they must have a roach infestation, its not surprising that the rats would come next. But when I tell you this thing was huge I mean it was the size of a very well fed fat gerbil with a thick long tail. I cant imagine that eating any of the snacks there is a sanitary act and unfortunately this means we will never come back. I hope whoever reads this thinks twice because in the darkness of the theatre, you will be surrounded by more creatures than people.

Caught a 7:30 feature with a friend at this theater and we were offered “row A” at ticket purchase time. Row A is, not joking, 10 feet from the BOTTOM of the screen. While the seats recline they would need to go back another foot to achieve a “comfortable” viewing angle.After sitting in the theater for almost 20 min, and once the movie had already started we were moved from our seat, being told we were in the wrong spot. We were willing to move but when we tried to we saw someone was in OUR assigned seating. We brought this up to the usher who had us move but he said “well I don’t want to make anyone move.” Clearly we were booted from our seats to accompany two guests but the same was not offered to us.Being mistreated by a double standard and not able to enjoy the movie because of such an uncomfortable position for its entirety really felt like we should have been refunded our tickets or offered a better seat at a different feature.

Loved going to this place until cinemark decided to use discount day as a ploy to convince people to join their membership. If they just got rid of discount day I could except this but their membership is trash and I will not be joining or going to this theater again. Bring back discount day and I will visit your theater again. I stopped going to the movies because of the prices but discount day convinced me to go back and even go on days without a discount and even purchase over priced concessions. I was spending at least $30 per visit, but now I will go somewhere else on principle or just wait until the movie is available on digital format and watch from home.

Pretty great theater. Lots of people drinking and having a rowdy time bawhaha. Recliner seat fabric was a little sticky, not sure what thats from. Nice little uppity shopping area too.

Great movie theater in an upscale shopping center. Friendly employees, nice theaters that are very clean. Restrooms are clean as well.

This place was spectacular. I cant say all the things that make this place great. The place is very clean, staff is super corteous, food is great and the seats are amazing. I now know I cant watch a movie in another theater because they will never measure up to this place. Even though we love 2 hours away the wife and I agree we will make the drive just to watch movies here.

Always a good experience here. Bring a light sweater or a small blanket. It can get cold in there. The snacks are extremely high like any other movie theater, but the chairs are super comfy. They recline!

Wifes second favorite theater in the area. Its got a good vibe and has excellent colocation to other businesses for a night out.

Everything was great except the concession stand took 25 minutes to get me 2 regular hot dogs.

Great place to see the movies you want to see. The atmosphere is relaxing and the people there are always kind. My only complaint is having to choose the seat you have before actually getting to the theater in order to get any kind of decent seat.

The quality has SERIOUSLY dipped in the last year. Everytime I go something messes up, picture freezes, theres no sound, they dont give anyone glasses for the 3D movie, ect. Also 90% of the recliners are broken and falling apart. Used to be the best on town.

This is one of my favorite theaters in Baton Rouge. The new selectable seats are reclining and comfortable, and there’s a bar now. Love me some popcorn and a Coke. Restrooms are convenient, which is good because a big drink... is big. Friendly staff, lots of parking nearby. You can buy your tickets at a window or kiosk, and if you’re early, you can go to Charming Charlie’s or Barnes and Noble, or pick a restaurant. So many things in walking distance.

Great place to watch a movie. They have giant leather recliners and a nice atmosphere for movie watching. My family and I go here about twice a month because we love it so much.

I used to love the theater but I just went and they had roaches everywhere. I got the g.m. And she walked off as if she didn’t care. They have a bad roach problem hope they get it fixed cause I love it there

This is hands down our favorite venue for movies. They have comfortable reclining chairs with footrests that extend like a recliner for your home. The sound is great. I believe that they have Dolby Atmos here, but Im not 100% sure. The concession workers and ushers are usually very polite as well.

Honestly, this is my favorite movie theater in Baton Rouge. Its in a decent, safe location, and often shows movies not available at other theaters in town.

The Cinemark at Perkins Rowe provides one if the best movie-going experiences in the city. I always keep track of whats playing in their XD theatre (equivalent to IMAX-sized screen) to get the best view of the newest flashy blockbuster on the big screen.

Yeah I will say the staff at this place has always been great at problem solving. The theaters have always been clean and the entirety of the environment as a whole has been a grade above the rest of the theaters in Baton Rouge.

We go to this movie theater at least once a week.. we sit on the nice comfy recliners! Its usually not crowded and lately the temperature is just right. We always bring a blanket just in case its cold..

The workers were super helpful and kind and understanding even when I spilled the popcorn and they were super cute too!

Buy your tickets online before you go, have them texted to you, and walk straight to the ticket taker without waiting in like.The chairs are seriously comfortable. This can be a problem if you are inclined to nap when this comfortable.Ticket prices are comparable with other theaters in town.There are a number of restaurants in Perkins Rowe making it convenient to eat out before or after (if you get out of the movie before 9 PM).If you buy candy for the movie check out the Fresh Market before going to the theater. They have an excellent assortment of bulk candies at very reasonable prices.

I reserved tickets 2 days before the selected time. The process was simple, no surprises. My family enjoyed the movie experience at Cinemark.

Update - after writing Cinemark, the manager has been Outstanding at correcting our problem. He has gone above and beyond and I must commend him. You can now turn your card into the box office to get your tickets for the upcoming movies, so you arent turned away. This is the first time in 5 years they have had the summer movies, so hopefully it will be a learning experience for next year. I am happy with the communication I have had, I feel that the manager has done all that he can to make my opinion go back to the 5* rating I had given them before, so I am now changing my review to reflect this. If you have the summer card please go turn it in & get actual tickets so you dont have this issue!!We purchased the card for all 10 summer movies, yet got turned away because it was sold out. I understand the area you sit is first come first served, and I would have been fine with the front row, BUT a total of 9 people WITH cards were turned away in the 5 minutes I was there, and another 8 that hadnt bought the cards. The advanced summer tickets they keep track of in a book... I saw it when I purchased mine BEFORE SUMMER, so count the previously purchased tickets before selling more! . OR they have played the movie on over 4 screens before so why not plan for overflow and have another theater ready just in case? I got a discount because I purchased in advance but that does not mean my previously purchased tickets should be pushed to the side because (as the ticket counter girl kept saying) well you got it at a discount so. .. Poor customer service and it makes no business sense at all. This alone has changed my rating from a 5 to a 1. Great going Cinemark.

Good clean family place good prices

Its my preferred movie theatre. It is in a good location, and they renovated not too long ago. The stadium seats have been replaced with electric recliners similar to the Movie Tavern, so you can watch the movie in comfort not cuddling with some stranger.You have typical theatre snacks and food. They may even have hamburgers and wings. I prefer to eat before or after the movie I watch, at one of the resturants by the theatre.

Their website displayed the seat I purchased as normal, but when I got there it was handicapped. Thankfully no one showed up that actually needed it.I also went to buy two snacks that I assumed to at most be $4 since they would normally be $2 combined at Walmart, but when they priced it up it came to $9...

This is a wonderful movie theater. Unfortunately, we dont have one like this in Lafayette. The reclining seats, reservations, and the general organization is really refreshing.If Im ever in Baton Rouge, and I need to kill time, I definitely know that Im going to come see a movie at this location again. I really wish we had one of these at home.

This movie theater is ok! Not like Movie Tavern because you know movies are expensive but at least in Movie Tavern you get full meals for about the same price as youd spend buying popcorn and candy here. This place does have reclining seats and XD screenings which is a plus so Im not gonna knock it if you want to go to a regular theater, Id choose this one.

Perkinds Rowe is the #2 ranked theater in Baton Rouge. And Top 5 in the state for sure. Prices are what you would expect, food times vary based on crowd but the XD/3D experience is solid and limited edition specialty shows (i.e. pro boxing fights, Death of Superman, live streamed concerts) are good to check out as well. The theater itself is surrounded by more than enough restaurants and shops to make it worth your while. Ample free parking as well is a plus.

I watched around 10 movies here, by now. If you are looking for the best experience, go for XD screens, as the sound quality is far better than the normal screens. 3D screens and many of the 2D screens have good acoustics though. However, I couldnt satisfy myself watching the same movie on one of the 2D screens after I had watched it on XD.

Little bit pricey for my tastes, but excellent theatre. The recliners were very comfortable. The bathrooms were a mess, but the theatre itself was pretty clean.

Love to get away and relax with my husband. A night out

I was very displeased with my last visit to this Cinemark. I went to see Pet Semetary which I was very anxious to see. During the whole show, these people in the front were talking so loudly that others were complaining. They didnt hush up. I went to look for a worker to possibly get the people removed so everyone could enjoy the show, but literally NO ONE was to be found. The only worker that was there was a maintenance guy in the concession area cleaning. I was just really shocked that there wasnt one worker available to help, so me and my friend left in the middle of the show because I had no idea what was going on due to the disturbances.

My experience of the establishment itself is ALWAYS wonderful! I just wish people would develop better movie etiquette. People can be so inconsiderate and it runs the viewing experience for others.

The reclining seats are the main selling point here. Being able to reserve your seat ahead of time is also a plus. The refreshments and popcorn are always very good. It is expensive to buy any food here but that is that case with all movie theaters. Very clean and comfortable and just a great place to watch a movie. Staff is always friendly and courteous.

Glass was an excellent movie. Samuel L. Jackson and Bruce Willis were outstanding, but that James McAvoy ought receive at least 3 Academy Awards for the 15 characters he played.

The theater was filthy and had not been cleaned before the movie I paid to watch. I spoke with a manager and he immediately sent someone to clean the theater. I normally dont have any issues.

My friends & I went to this Theater yesterday, 9/25/19. Horrible experience. The place was dirty and there were roaches crawling all over the seats! Absolutely disgusting. Will never go there again!

I love watching movies in the reclining seats they have here. The theatre is always clean and they even have special showings of some anime movies sometimes!

This is my favorite theater in town. I love very the luxury loungers: big comfortable electric powered chairs that recline, extendable, and cup holders. Very comfortable. Best of all tickets come with reserved seating, so there is no rush to show up early and wait for good seats. I buy my tickets early, grab a good meal in Perkins Rowe, wake over just before the movie starts. Makes for a great evening.

I loved it especialy the movie. If you havent seen Ralph Wrecks The Internet aka. Wreck it Ralph 2 then your missing out. The quality of the movie was good and so was the sound. And i do like how that in the front row seats that the screen is far away just enougj so your neck wont hurt after staring up.
