Love watching movies here in Dolby theater. Only problem I have is its too hot! Its rarely comfortable. Dont know if it like this at other AMC but it is here in Baton Rouge off of ONeal.

I enjoyed this AMC it was really clean. The only thing I didnt like was how hight the wall was in front of the seat, so if you leaned your chair back you could barely see depending on high up your seats are

The chairs were excellent and the screens looked great!

We purchase tickets and when we got there they would not let us in because we did not have masks.we had medical center conditions were we cannot wear masks and when I informed the manager and I was video taping it and let him know he was being recorded he didnt care anyway and so they sent us back on our way home. This is a negative experience that is going to make me not come back because we didnt have the ability to wear masks because it will make us sick from breathing. If you have social distance on the theater seats like you say you do that shouldnt have been a problem for us. Especially since they say whenever youre eating you dont have to have a mask on.we are going directly to purchase drinks and snacks as soon as we got in the door so we would have been eating and drinking during the movie and not had masks on anyway completely asinine the way the manager try to uphold some bogus policy.

We enjoy movies. We like to get out. Bathrooms are clean. Love being able to have a drink while watching a movie. The drinks are the best part. We go often. We will definitely be back. Free popcorn and coke refills are a plus. I like getting points on all purchases and being able to use them freebies.

Love the seats and the theaters. The guy at the food counter literally didn’t speak. He looked at us and we have him the order, then gave him the money, he gave change and walked away. It was the day and we were the only ones there. Would be nice if they were a little more professional and personable.

I liked the seats in the theatre. The Lion King so relaxing to watch. However the lody/concession area wasn’t that busy at all, and it was so messy. Garage was all over the floors. And the employees just stood around and chatted and some of them was behind the concession counter seeming to be straightening up. But the actually movie experience was good. Great theatre chairs & controls!

Always go to this theater when a movie is two weeks because it most likely empty & I get to watch it in peace pretty much

It is a very comfortable theater but I would like them to put more movies in Spanish, they would have more Hispanic clients and they would have more income, of that I am sure

Wow! I loved my experience at AMC BR 16. I took the kids to view a movie and they loved it. The chairs are so spacious and relaxing. It was a great idea to add reclining chair in the theaters, whom ever had that needs a raise.

The environment is clean and welcoming, the parking is easy, and the location is right off the I-12 so its a breeze to get to. The cinemas feature the recliner loungers and up-to-date sound and picture quality. I didnt find the air-conditioning overly cold (a frequent cinema problem!) and the restrooms were clean and well stocked. I look forward to returning to AMC Baton Rouge 16!

Hard to enjoy a movie when the theater feels like a preheated oven. My family of 5 and I are/were regulars, going 3-5 times a month. Lately, probably for the last 2 months, EVERY! time we go the theater is incredibly hot. Air NEVER! kicks on. Each time weve had to leave our seat to tell an employee in the lobby to please have someone turn our air on. Were always told it takes 20-30 minutes for it to kick on. Why isnt it already on for the scheduled showing??? Im tired of paying good money to sit in a hot leather seat, in a theater without a/c, suffocating while I try to enjoy a movie. Im done. Ill take my hard earned $ elsewhere.

I would choose this location ANY DAY rather than the Mall of Louisiana AMC. Much cleaner and a better crowd. Never had a problem here. Always enjoy my experience as long as its the right movie lol.

AMC Baton Rouge 16. The movie theater is Awesome place to go to see movie by yourself or with friends and family. You have to select your seats. Food is popcorn, hotdogs, chips, candy and icee machine flavors vary. Good quiet and decent place to go. Also they have a bartender on the side that can do some drinks also.

Fabulous seats. I havent been to the movies in ages and lots of things have changed. I love the idea of not having to search for a seat any longer. Movie theaters have really come a long way.

This is a great location; its always an overall positive experience. Service can be slow sometimes depending on the staff, they are just teenagers after all. I do wish they offered more Dolby and IMAX options for an extended period of time when new movies come out.

Everything is clean. The viewing experience is nice. Everyone is nice.But the prices. Theese prices have just got out of control.

Theater was super clean, seats felt almost brand new and reclined as much as you need. I wasnt hungry so I didnt try any of the food but there was a large menu and a bar also. Staff was very nice

Me and my wife go here every week, and while it is fairly nice, there is one issue that we have every single week. Many (and I mean many) of the seats are either broken or so close to the wall behind them that they do not recline properly. There arent really any other complaints though, and the people are really nice.

Best theater in town. Reclining seats, decent concession, and Dolby is easiest the best format.

Horrible! I went to see Just Mercy and a group of people laughed, talked and walked up and down the whole movie! Unbelievable! I went to customer service and reported it but no one came into the movie, corrected them or removed them. I am a working actor, AMC A-lister member and a good friend of mine is a character in this movie. I was visiting some friends in Baton Rouge and we decided to use your theater but it was the worst entertainment decision ever. Now, last part. I hesitate to write this part because it always seems as though someone, somewhere has to push issues or promote agendas and Im definitely not one. But,I am African American and the theater was 35% full. Amongst the guests were 5 caucasians who made up this group. I was completely embarrassed. If it were me I would have never went to a movie if I didnt want to support it or interrupt and make mockery of it. Buying a ticket helps the unwanted agenda! Not to bright!

Walked in the theater happy, walked out depressed.not because of the theater, the movie was sad.

It would have been better if they had actually cleaned the theater between movies . Several partial tubes of popcorn in seats in our row, floor completely littered with popcorn, candy wrappers in seats. Id add pictures if I could to this review. Pretty bad.

I love the chairs they have here. Oh my gawg, they made a wonderful choice on upgrading their seating. The only negative thing is you have to select your seating before you enter. I selected the top row, and then after I realized that small people, aka my daughter, cant see the screen because the wall in front of the chairs are too high. Other than that it is terrific!

My friends and I went to see the Downton Abbey movie. AMC was clean (even the bathrooms!), surprisingly not too busy on a Friday night, and though we made a mistake with our tickets the manager was very nice and worked everything out. I highly recommend this location over others.

Excellent Seating Arrangements. The most comfortable movie experience. Fantastic food in the concession stand. Fair prices and great specials. Passing through for Bachelor Party and caught Endgame. Great decision! Will definitely be back!

Good place to see movies but the only thing is they should have a point rewards card and after some point u earn a free movie ticket.

Clean, well lit, and very comfortable. The staff was informative and courteous. Add the awesome 5$ Tuesday special with a refillable Large popcorn and you have a perfect ending to your Tuesday night.

Very nice place , spacious for 1000s of people. Great customer service. This place looks so beautiful from the inside and the out. I love the bright neon lights. Just all around a great place to being your family and enjoy your favorite new release.

Clean and comfortable. I ordered a drink and it tasted watered down so I was disappointed for $16 alcoholic beverage. Im an A-List member, it has great benefits.

My husbands favorite movie theater. The service was fast and friendly. The only thing I dont like, and its a minor issue, is that after they renovated a few years ago, the movie name is no longer posted over the door. Otherwise, all else is fine and we go there frequently.

Saw a 5p viewing of a film there this past weekend, and while the theater itself was clean, the bathrooms were absolutely disgusting on both sides of the theater. Cleanliness was awful.

Went to see Captain Marvel in 3D. Service was outstanding...I tried using an ancient gift certificate that i found in a box. Ticket guy called manager, who said it was expired. I was given a number to call to get a fresh new one. The seats were crazy- comfortable. Still cant wrap my head around having a full bar at the movies, but thats just me.

Mostly clean theater, they have a really nice dolby theater and even the digital had nice reclining seats.

Totally love it. Food and drinks, and not just popcorn and cokes; they have good stuff.

The showtimes were good, the chairs were comfortable, and the establishment was very clean and organized but it was super hot in the theater! Movie theaters are known to be cold. This made the experience bad.

Theater is clean and staff is friendly and helpful. Rating is low because the food selection wanting and the prices are beyond ridiculous. $6.00 FOR A REGULAR HOT DOG. $21.00 FOR A SOFT PRETZEL AND A FEW EXTRAS. THATS INSANE. EAT BEFORE YOU GO AND ENJOY THE MOVIE.

Would have had a good time, if it hadnt been for the fact the a/c wasnt on during my movie. I went with my family to see the new Lion King, my girlfriend got up and complained to a worker who did nothing, I felt like it was 90 degrees in there. There were children watching this movie, who had to be taken out of the movie just to cool down.

The theatre itself is incredible. The screen is crystal clear and the recliners are like being at home. BUT....last Saturday, the lobby was not clean, the soda machine areas were filthy and the dispensers showed NEEDS ATTENTION on many of the drinks. The bathrooms were not clean either. Maybe it was just that night. We will try one more time this weekend, but only because the seating was nice.

This is my favorite AMC simply because of the Dolby. It allows for a wayyyy better viewing experience with a clearer screen and better sound quality.

The family enjoyed a movie here after holiday shopping. We will be back

This used to be my favorite theater and I have had a Stub Membership for over 6 years now. I will be canceling soon and switching to Cinemark theatre. Had an EMPLOYEE curse me out in AMC parking lot because she doubled park and couldn’t get into her vehicle. Then when we went into our theatre to find that no one ever came to clean it. There were wet seats, napkins, and popcorn everywhere. For a place that sells food you should really make sure you clean up.

Movie was great. The theater was extremely hot. Said something to safe and nothing was done.

It was relaxing. So much so I tried not to fall asleep in the reclining chairs! Good experience.

Wow! All I can say is wow! Double recliner seats for couples to cuddle, food and drink service, 3D movies, handicap accessable, just a beautiful place.

The movie theater was clean and seats comfortable. Its just the movie quality. It seemed the movie was to dark. Even when it was during day scenes. It was darker than I would like. I rate theater 5 stars but movie quality 3 stars.

One of the staff members was rude, he snatched my ticket out of my hand without giving me the chance to hand it to him. I was lied to about the popcorn. I was told it was about 5 minutes old, when I get it, its as cold as can be. Get to the theatre room and all is going well until about the last 20 minutes it seemed as if the heat was turned all the way up and it just made the rest of it miserable. The movie itself was great but everything else was not worth the money that I paid.

The theatre is clean and I love the reclining seats.

Really good experience. The seats are amazing. Its very comfortable watching a movie here with the set up they have. My fiance and I felt as though we were in the comfort of our own home. They have regular concessions as well as a bar with beers and wines. The staff is a slow but the rest of the amenities make up for it.

The Dolby Surround sound theater is pretty great. We watched the 20th anniversary release of the Matrix. Worth the $14 tickets.

This is a clean facility and there are plenty of snack options. There are always plenty of movie choices and the movies themselves are enjoyable as well. The bathrooms are always close and there are plenty of bathroom stalls.

Whilst I highly recommend the Dolby theatre room, the other rooms are clean and very comfortable. Food is pricey, and outside food is contraband, but you can discreetly bring food . Sign up for AMC stubs also, its free and comes with great discounts. Weekday, pre-noon movies are usually about $5. Highly recommend this place!

Never crowded. Never a line outside for tickets. We wouldnt wait anyway because we get our tickets on the app, which is GREAT. Friendly employees. Great deals when you are a Stubs Premier member.

One of my favorite theaters in the country.

It was great there were no glitches with the movie it was nice and clear the sound was good. The temperature was comfortable. The recliners were nice just wish the arm rest that does go up between seats went back with the seat because it makes it hard to cuddle with the person next to you.

For the most part this theater is good. I only gave it a 2 star because AMC 16 oneal drive Baton rouge,la is a HOT BOX, which is extremely uncomfortable to watch a movie in. I thought the problem would be corrected but sadly it hasnt, even after complaining to the management, which seems to be indifferent about the situation. I usually bring a jacket to movie theaters because they are on the cool side but when I visit this theater I dont need a jacket at all, its actually very uncomfortable to feel as though someone has turned the heater on. Hopefully this issue will be corrected because a growing number of patrons in the community are starting to complain and attend the cinemark theater across town.

Nice seats but like all theaters the concessions is over priced for the bland food.

5 stars from me, hasnt failed me yet. This theater is amazing, it has great movie rooms and comfortable seats. The popcorn is delicious and service is great. Staff is friendly and best of all its a great place for a date or a hangout with some friends. If youre looking for a good movie theater, I highly recommend coming here if youre in the area. :)

Super comfy reclining seats & great snacks

Great time. Pic was from what we have come to expect and be disappointed in, lack of customer service and attention to the job. We saw this and just decided it was best not to disturb the girl, sine paying attention to customers was obviously not high on her agenda.Shame on Management for allowing cell phones during work.

I really love amc chairs and they always have the movies you wanna watch

This is the go-to theater for my kids and I. We like the Movie Tavern but often like to eat at nearby restaurants before the movie so we dont need to go to a theater that serves actual food. This AMC theater still has reserved seating and reclining seats just like the movie tavern, but no one coming around constantly delivering food. But if you insist on overpaying for food, you can still get snacks and popcorn and all the usual stuff that most theaters have right there at the concession stand at the entrance to the building.

Comfortable place to see a movie but the crowd was not very pleasant. Amazing how many very young kids were out with their parents seeing a 10p movie not for kids.
