Found a loaded hypodermic needle in the grass. A opossum in the trash can. But other than that its beautiful on the board walks.

Great little hiking trail. Even in the summer the trees provide a nice break from the heat.

Outstanding boardwalk over Florida wetlands. A true view of what many parts of the State was like in early times. Horse trails and non wetlands trails are also available.

Its a beautiful park. I was there and one of the board walks was being updated so it was closed and the one that was open wasnt exactly safe or kept up with. Sad to see that Polk County could do so much better. There is a wide open field to fly RC airplanes on that you can get to with a sedan thru a peat gravel/ clay road on the Western side of park. Eastern side is paved with a parking lot and restrooms. Good for a picnic but not somewhere Im gonna go back to spend more than a couple of hours.

Relaxing place to picnic, fish and hike the trails. As long as FWC aint always bothering you while you fish.

Beautiful, We saw this little guy while we were on the boardwalk.

It is so beautiful here! You wont see many animals but the boardwalks and scenery are worth it. It is family friendly too.

Great scenic boardwalk here! Too bad some of it was closed for repair. Steps from main parking are also closed at this time so you will have to walk back down the road to get to the boardwalk entrance and bathrooms.

Nice little park with a boardwalk that takes you into nature and down to Peace River.Nice scenery.

Very beautiful and quiet place to walk out in the country. Our dogs loved it! Bring water! Great place for a blanket style picnic. Large tree for shade.

The board walk needs some attention, but its absolutely beautiful park

It has been closed since Hurricane Irma. So no one can actually use the park now. It is really beautiful, hope it is repaired soon.

The park appeared well kept. The bathroom facilities were also very clean compared to other public parks

Very nice place to ride but I wish it was a bigger area. Great trails with lots of ups and downs. It would probably be hot in the summer since a lot of the trails are not shaded, but it is way fun in the cooler weather.

There r 3 boardwalks, long boardwalks. You can c many plants and the Peace River from them. You do not need to walk in the dirt. Also, for those like me your chance of happening on s snake is much diminished because u r on the boardwalk! Has restrooms and picnic tables so u can make s day of it!

A great place to take the family

The park is closed - the boardwalk is damaged by fallen trees. But we want to come,back as soon as its open. It looks very wild and mysterious.

Beautiful! Expect to see bugs and maybe some wildlife. We saw a little armadillo but with 3 small children, not much else. Boardwalks are nice and it was a fun stop that we will definitely make again! There is also parking for RV and a big spot for turning around if you might be in need of that sort of thing.

The park is closed for repairs. Checked it out and it does not seem like much repair work is really going on. Not sure if the place will open again. Alot of fallen trees and damage to the board walk.
