My husband Don and I thoroughly enjoyed our tour of the L. B. Brown House in Bartow, Florida. Thank you, Cliff Lewis, for making the history come alive for us through the interesting details of Mr. Brown and his home. The restoration of the Brown home and the opportunity to tour it is a credit to the people of Bartow who understand the importance of preserving our rich history.

An inspirational true story especially for young children of a man who started out with nothing and accomplish so much in his life. Perfect example of where theres a will, theres a way...Visited twice...My grand daughter loved it. I will be back soon with my other grandchildren.

The history of L. B. Brown is a story that would Inspire everyone. It was almost lost in history if not for mr. Lewis and others. What a wonderful home of Polk County. Everyone needs to visit.

Nicely preserved period place of a prominent local family. The furnishings and accessories are pretty neat. Look carefully at the construction, such as wood joints and second floor porch... its a marvel of quality.
