Good place to have the kids get wet and watch some ducks in the lake. Went for 4th of July fireworks and its a very good area to sit and picnic and watch the fireworks show.

This is a really nice urban park to visit for a nice stroll. It looks like a great place to bring the kids. The only reason I give a 4 out of 5 is because this fountain needs some routine maintenance. Otherwise this is a great spot.

ALL the splashpads are closed! We drove to 3 splashpads including this one and they are all under construction.

Its a quiet spot where parents can sit and relax while there kids splash around. Walking trails all around so its easy to get to yet nestled in its own little spot by the Town Lake. Love it!!

Splash pad and adjacent playground closed. Sign outside splash pad said closed until early 2020. No indication why playground is closed as well.

Went with my toddler to check out the splash pad. I parked on the Barton Springs side and luckedout finding a space. Next time Ill park on the Riverside side. There were plenty of fountains shooting, lots of places to sit and no shade. We walked up the hill for a better view of the skyline. The kid had a blast!

This place is really fun we been coming here for years I know the lights are not working and it look like it was all closed off on the doughtry art side we were able to find a parking on the river side parking and we walked up around the hill and we were able to get in my kids got their feet wet it was already starting to get dark andOnce it was dark we started seeing rats popping out from underneath where the trees are the gutters and they were popping out may be 10 in less than 10 minutes coming from the trash to go feed their family and then do it all over again so we saw 10 rats in less than 10 minutes and I had no idea there were so many rats in this area but I guess that’s what happens at night time anywhere right anyways don’t be discouraged by the rats during the day I’ve never seen them before it’s actually quite a nice place to sit and put a blanket and have a picnic and the kids always have a good time just make sure there’s no running because I’ve seen people hit their heads PS are used talk to text so sorry Where they run on sentence and miss spelling but you get the picture

The kids love playing at the splash pad they always have a member when they first built this place unfortunately it seems a lot of people like to loiter in the area but that’s expected because it is a public place meant for calling off it just be nice if maybe they added a few more splash pads So it’s not so crowded I’ve seen kids run into each other head to head because They can’t see through the water. Too crowded nowadays but many fun times had!

This pad should more appropriately be named pond, for the artificial pond that has been reclaimed by the adjoining...well, pond, by an abundant and varied wildlife. Dont get me wrong, the water features are refreshing ---partcularly during our scorching summers (Ask my grandkids.)---but thats only half of its appeal. For nature lovers, its only a hop, skip, an a jump to an amazing experience.

It used to be a great spot. Now, its just another trashed out homeless hangout. We went hoping that maybe they had finally fixed the light show, nope, now even fewer fountains working than before. The ones that do work only have about half the water pressure needed. If you dont mind watching the homeless take baths in it and camp out in the bathroom or, all the condom wrappers and dope baggies, its probably a great spot for your kids. Chances are pretty slim that well fight for another scarce parking spot just to suffer through the disappointment again.

Half the fountain work and water pressure is low. No patterns anymore. No lights. Kids still like it but I remember how great it used to be before the city stopped bothering to maintain it.
