I sat at a picnic table under a big beautiful tree with my Chihuahua and listened to some music as ppl jogged, played tennis, ride bikes or walked. There were a few children at the playground as well. It was a sunny breezy day. Park was clean and I loved it.

Most wonderful experience Ive had here is playing Spike Ball and slacklining while a dude halfpiped. This is a fun and simple park that is kept clean and maintained.If you enjoy parks, think of what it will happen to the trees of each park when heat rises above 120, 130, 140. Theyre not cactus. What will happen to them when temperatures swing in Fall and Spring from 90 to freezing and their buds fall off?Once a few trees die of heat, drought, and cold snaps then all trees will die. Then what? No oxygen. Thats what. We must make radical changes now, not in 10 years or when everyone wakes up. If youre awake, awaken others.Plant trees, stop driving extinction mobiles, and eat less meat.

Love coming here with my kids! There are so many slides, a little track they can cycle on and in the summer there’s a (free) swimming pool. The playground is far enough from the road that you don’t have to worry about toddlers scampering into the road. Oh, and restrooms are reasonably clean (it’s public restrooms...)

Perfect vert ramp for skating. Easy to get to.

Had a great time with Smooth & EZ Dance of Texas. Park has a covered pavilion, swimming pool, basketball court and tennis courts. Several playground areas for children. Nice place for gatherings such as family reunions.

Tucked away in north Austin, Patterson is one of our favorite parks in the city.

This is a beautiful little park with a pond and walk ways. It is a lovely place for a nice walk.

Nice peaceful environment. Close by for bus transportation. Restrooms and water fountains are in working order.

Saturday afternoon and the park was quiet, and trashed Im assuming after a birthday party. My oldest daughter suggested we pick up the litter and so we did.

This is the tiny pool where I swam almost every day of every summer of my epic childhood. I even had a couple of lovely hippie-kid potluck birthdays here- a lot of fond memories in the overgrown weeds. The pool is next to a large field, basketball and tennis courts as well as a playground and picnic tables aplenty. Some will say ghetto, I say charming.

Patterson Park is a wonderful community resource. Great place for recreation.I would give it five stars except for the people that drive their cars on the grass and play loud music at their weekend barbecues.I am hopeful the city will renovate the swimming pool. It has many broken things like the showers.The restrooms are arranged as a sort of outdoor stage amphitheater. I always wonder what kind of community performances took place there.

This skate park is literally just one steep ramp we drove to 20 minutes for nothing and six minutes of traffic I would suggest not going to the skate park everything else looks fine I wouldve rated it a higher score if the skate park was better they shouldnt call it a skate park we should call it a ramp
