This place is so underrated and has some of the best bbg classic recipes in ATX. Since 1990 Ive felt the deep connection to old Austin it still holds true today. Nostalgia a foot deep.Their Frito Pie is awesome!

Not the best Stadium but the view of downtown skyline and the state capital building on the hill top makes it a special venue. Best to park in the hill and take the stairs down 3 flights to enter the stadium. Get there early. There is no game day parking for the general public at the stadium parking lot next to the stadium. Fun to attend. Love the Aggie Maroon colors by Austin High. But they arent very good in 2019.

House park is fun for all ages. And No-Comply is around the corner if you need skate things. Or even coffee

So much potential for this site, but its poorly managed and maintained by the school district. And closing the concession stand 5 minutes into the third quarter of a football game doesnt help. Its sad to see every single suburban facility we play have such nicer facilities with pleasant, helpful employees.

Great facility, school football games, skateboarding community. Skatepark has no shade or water so make sure to come prepared. Love this place, great atmosphere, however not good for kids. Good for teenagers.

Early morning is the perfect time for preschoolers. ( The big guys are always accepting but it gets a little scary later in the day)

The stands and field are pretty nice, but there needs to be more/better food and drink options at some events. Parking is a nightmare at times, especially in the evenings when the adjacent skate park gets filled with visitors.

The skateboard park located across the bridge from house park BBQ!! The best place to begin skating to watch skating go skating Ive been comming here for years. If it Were not for this place i would not have chosen to live in Austin

Im new to skating and was nervous about skating at skate park because my skills arent exactly up to par. however, the skaters at house park are some of the nicest and its definitely beccome a comfortable space for me to skate. the main downside is that during the summer it gets extremely hot and theres not much shade but if you can take the heat Id definitely recommend it.

The best place to watch football with family

Tiny, little parking lot. Thankfully neighboring parking is accommodating, but stadium left a lot to imagine.

Decent stadium with ample seating. Parking could be better and youll probably want to bring a cushion!

If youre stuck and need a shower (Im one of those detestable homeless wondering the streets of Austin) then this is a good place to go its one of those hidden gems unlike stacys pool where every homeless person in Austin tends to congregate including myself but I try to keep myself a level higher than most. So if youre like me and like to drink champagne on a beer budget then head over to Austin recreational center! !!

The critic in me wants to give 4 stars, but this is a skatepark so the skater in me says dont be a dirtbag. The only thing I would like to see added nearby is a mini mart. Get energy drinks, snacks, protein bars, etc. Even if its like a permanent food truck or shack. Do dis pls

Maybe there should be a first come, first serve policy with parking. It’s ridiculous that people who come to use the skate park ( Something that gets used all day, every day, anytime of the year ) only get 10 spots on game day and have to fight for a spot From people who only show up a few times a season to do nothing but sit on their butt to watch a game ) ..... that is garbage. Skaters and bmx riders should get all the spots facing the skatepark AT the very least. Acc, the rec center, and the stadium get all the other spots, OR they can just let it be first come first serve.

Cool cats @ the skatepark. Top notch park with a great bowl,no tension between BMXz and Skaterz. City employees were busy cleaning graffiti,were very polite. Heck,even the APD chatted us up,were very cool. Totally awesome visit to House!

Historic stadium just west of the capital with great sight lines for games. Parking is tough for football so park in the ACC garage on 12th. Bring a seat back as it is all metal benches.

Great location and a nice layout. Kept relatively clean and there isnt a problem with criminal activity. Has a decent restroom, sometimes you can groundscore some roaches but remember it closes at 10pm...dont get hassled by APD! Never worth it...it opens again at 5am!

Best park I have been to in awhile, has it all and more...plus its a city park provided...FREE. Has a good feel, awesome and creative design, and I will be back and tell everyone it is a great place to ride bikes and skateboard.

Since they put the new turf down and fixed things up this is a great place for football.

Very old facilities and parking can be difficult, but very cool downtown views.

Clean and safe facility, but parking is a problem. Also on the visitors side, extremely long lines for the concession stand and only one person taking orders.

Terrible parking! And the field is so small there is almost no room for the football teams on the sidelines.
