Great room with an awesome view. The sales team was a tad aggressive for my taste but good experience over all. Also, we detailed this experience in our response to the post stay questionnaire we received however it seems as if no one took the time to read or respond to it.... at least they respond to public reviews.....

I visited at the beginning of September and my stay couldnt have been better. My suite was AMAZINGLY beautiful! So clean and spacious, it had absolutely everything I needed. The staff was so welcoming and helpful. The pool/deck area was relaxing and has the most spectacular view of the city. The parking was easy and safe. The neighborhood has restaurants within walking distance and the resort is close to everything else Austin has to offer. I loved every second and hope to return very soon.

It was decent. The gym is fairly laughable and lacking equipment. The room itself was fairly nice and we had a cool balcony view (which was not that cool as all you see if construction and also hear the banging and clanginf as of 7am ! Good times !) The property would be great in Post Covid Austin aa you are in walking distance of Alamo, Franklins and other cool bars and restaurants in the area. The staff was great and rooms were pretty massive. Aside from this, wasnt a GREAT experience and for someone who likea a nice gym, this one needs a do over !

Cool lil place. Rooms were large, have washer and dryers (a nice plus), space for 4 people and a nice swimming pool. The bad? No parking, so youll have to pay hourly on the street or find a garage. No food type amenties at all, just ability to buy frozen meala and soda downstairs. And the tiniest gym weve ever seen in rhe workd. Frankly, a bit embarassing of a gym. Staff is great, but have to go w my score. The location is in a great location w places conveniently located w a max of .9 miles of walking. Enjoyed it but wouldnt go out of mt way to stay here !

A tiny bit dissappointed theres not any food od/restaurant on property or even a bar. Rooms were giant and spacious which qas a big plus. Overall, decent place...but nothing Id spend over $100 on. There is no free parking here and youll need to pay for a garage or park via the meters in the street .

I had a wonderful and relaxing working vacation... Friendly and attentive staff.. Great location... Social distancing in place... I had take out from the restaurant just a block from the timeshare... I also had groceries delivered from a local grocery store... Im single at the time, so after being indoors for most of the first 7 months of this year, I needed to get out for a change of scenery... I mostly worked from inside the room and on the balcony... Had a visit from a friend that lives locally, we walked the neighborhood and to a park nearby.. Nice views... Especially at night... Austin has a lot of construction going on right now... All places were complying with social distance guidelines so I always felt safe and comfortable... The pool was open by appointment, but I didnt get a chance to experience it... I will definitely come back again...

Rented a 1 bedroom and a a studio. Rooms were nice and clean. In a good location with nice views. Pool was small but fire pit was nice. Many areas were closed because of covid19. Parking pricey at $30 per day. When I first checked into the room balcony door was broken they were not able to fix it until the next day and I had to leave the room while they fixed it because of covid19 which was an inconvenience. Also there was one day that water had to be turned off so they offered gallons of water. Again this was an inconvenience and I would have much rather they offered a free day of parking than the gallons of water the offered.

I have not actually stayed at this hotel. I made a reservation about a week in advance, and canceled within two hours of making the reservation. A charge for one night showed up on my credit card under the name Extra Holidays Austin. When I called the toll-free number to get the charge taken off, I was hung up on repeatedly by the phone system. This is super shady and I never should’ve been charged anything due to the time period during which I both made and canceled the reservation. Just be careful if you deal with this hotel… Check your credit card statement.

Beware this is NOT a hotel, but a Timeshare facility with limited options and services. My rating of this facility is based upon my interaction with staff as well as the services available at the facility -- not the quality of the rooms themselves. When I booked on the Wyndham Rewards app the facility is presented as a hotel, but upon showing up I realize it is a Timeshare scheme. So first of all the description of the facility is deceptive on the Wyndham Rewards App, and it should be made clear that this is a Timeshare facility. Secondly, they use high-pressure sales tactics upon check-in to try to get you to attend a presentation or tour of the property. I should not have to say that Im not interested in the Timeshare presentation more than once -- let alone the 20 minutes it took me debating with concierge staff that I really did not have any interest in the Presentation or a Welcome Tour, before they would give me my parking permit. The sales tactics and high pressure to attend a presentation was so bad that I avoided going through the lobby at all costs, so I wouldnt have to continue to debate on whether or not I actually needed to go to a presentation with concierge staff. If I needed to leave, I would ride the elevator down to the 2nd floor and walk out of the facility via the parking garage. Secondly the Wyndham website and Wyndham Rewards App paint this facility as a resort, but there is not even daily housekeeping included with the room. So keep that in mind when making reservations. The room does include a washer and dryer, but who wants to wash their own linens on a vacation? Again, this is deceptive and should be made clear when making the reservation. While the room itself was pleasant and comfortable and the views were very nice, however you get the same views and a much better vacation experience for about the same price staying at an actual Hotel like the Holiday Inn on Town Lake or one of the other nice hotels downtown -- and those facilities include everything that the Wyndham has plus daily housekeeping and usually an on-site restaurant or at the very least a breakfast option. Also keep in mind that parking is 30 dollars a day, but a day is midnight to midnight, so you will pay $30 for your day of arrival, $30 for your day of departure plus $30 any full days in between that you stay at the facility -- it adds up quickly. This is similar to other downtown facilities, but its not made clear on the Wyndham website. As others have mentioned, for a 22 floor building, there is only one elevator, which at times means you can be waiting 10 to 15 minutes for the elevator to reach your floor -- assuming its going in the direction you want to go.Anyhow, my experience and interactions with staff as well as the misleading nature of the description on the Wyndham Reward App, gives me pause when thinking about Wyndham. I am a Diamond Wyndham Rewards member, which means I stay at Wyndham properties more than 40 nights a year and I can say this experience has me seriously reconsidering my options as to whether I continue to give Wyndham my business in the future.Pros: Nice new rooms, clean, nice views.Cons: No housekeeping service, high pressure sales tactics whenever you walk through the lobby, no on-site restaurant or breakfast, only one elevator for the whole 22 floor building. There are many options when you want to stay in Downtown Austin -- but the Wyndham Austin is not a choice you should make. You get more for your money at a real hotel, without all the high pressure sales tactics from staff.Room tip: Higher floors have nicer views, but stay somewhere else if you want good service and friendly staff.

Was super excited to receive a text before our visit to ask of any special request. I mentioned that is was the first valentines day we were celebrating in 15 years due to owning a flower shop. Was told it would be noted and something special will be done. When arriving we soon figure this was not a luxury hotel like what was on the web-site. After being directed that we parked wrong and was locked in the stairwell with little phone service we checked in only to be prayed upon by the sales team. Oh we got a two room upgrade that we didnt need. We got a few check-ons via phone. What do you say at that point. I wanted to yell at everyone because our first weekend out in forever and we dont have a bar, dont have courtesy driver, no food, no spa and no pool bar. Seems like from text they would have known we were wanting a catered weekend. Then driving out we were told we owed $60 more for parking because we didnt attend some meeting. We werent told of meeting we werent told to get free parking we had to attend some sales thing we werent told before hand this wasnt a hotel. The girl at the end when asking about additional charges was smarty but in this super sweat voice like your paying... you didnt go to timeshare meeting. Also, our floors in our room were so sticky gross we had to wear shoes the entire time we were there. To go to bathroom we had to put socks on. There was hair everywhere that wasnt mine or my husbands. I am totally bummed that the first Valentines in 15 years was spent in an apartment. We made our own fun but feel betrayed and frustrated. I am all for what you got going on but not on my romantic get away. Thank you but no thank you. Your pictures are totally deceiving. This would not make me feel proud as a hotel/apartment dwelling our owner. Which was funny... some lady came busting in front of me at check in and said Im A Owner... She was taken to the side but I was immediately shown what we were dealing with. I almost cried and being locked in stair well was terrifying. UNHAPPY!!!!!!

It is completely unacceptable to call a guest at 7-8am with a sales pitch. The staff did not care about my previous business with Wyndham, refused late checkout request and ignored maintenance issues.

Room was as expected from photos, though water pressure in the shower could definitely be better. Rooftop space was very great (incl. fire pits). Front desk workers were helpful and nice, but the concierge service was not good.Workers were incredibly pushy, withheld maps if they didn’t get their whole spiel in, and aggressively pushed their “let us talk to you for an hour so that you can get a ‘welcome bag.’” It did make the stay unpleasant since walking by them was needed to get into and out of the building. They even left a door hanger and called the room, requesting that we finish speaking with them! A guest should not feel conned and chased. I would highly suggest changing the concierge strategy.

It was fine since we were there primarily for work, spent the day out exploring the city, and at the hotel to sleep. We didnt receive our welcome gift. The entire game room was under construction for the whole week we were there, but we paid a lot of points to stay there. No where was it posted that they were under construction until youre walking through the front door. The neighbors were ridiculously rude, blasting music at all hours of the night, but security knocked and it stopped (even though they ignored him knocking) and the next night they were right back at it... the guests should have just been kicked out as quiet hours are clear.Aside from the negative, the desk staff and Wyndham people we dealt with were pleasant.
