Incredible live performances! I loved it so much. They are trying their best under this circumstances.

This theater is just wonderful! I love going here for a number of reasons other than the absolutely fabulous shows. The parking is always great, the walk to the theatre, bar, bathroom, etc is easy and a short distance. Its not hard to get around at all. The food is good, the employees make you feel like family and the place is just beautiful! Love, love, love watching shows here!

Have seen a few shows here and enjoyed every single one! Everything seems to run smoothly here and there is a great staff to guide you along the way! Great little bar area and gift shop with some reasonable prices.

Wow!!! Words cannot express how much I enjoyed watching A Christmas Carol at the ZACH Theater tonight. Everyone in the crew did such a good job! I laughed, cried and laughed some more, with plenty of clapping and whistling mixed in. The range of songs they did was amazing and I was astounded at the talent that was displayed. I felt so honored to witness this performance tonight and highly recommend you attend A Christmas Carol if at all possible. I cant wait to go again!

I love this theater!! Great views of the city from their sky lounge. The staff is wonderful. Only negative is the parking is not free.

This was my first time to Zack and I was really impressed. Everything about my experience was like watching a well oiled machine come to life. Parking was easy, the grounds were beautiful, and the building fresh and clean. We were greeted promptly and had little wait at the Box Office (two really friendly guys helped us). The theatre was great and the show very high quality—like I said, I was impressed. Im looking forward to my next show!

Big comfortable seats and plenty of leg room. Talented actors. Professional quality theater accoutrements. Full bar and nice snacks and swag. Warm staff. Production and talent rivaling off Broadway. Austin has got a gem. Enjoy this.

We went to see an evening with Janice Joplin here at this theater. theater is very nice everything well set up everything was handled well and the show was very very good. I recommend seeing this particular show if you have the opportunity. Very nice theater plenty of parking and restaurants close in the area. We had dinner at shady oak restaurant before the show and then walked back over to the theater. They serve drinks of all kinds both alcoholic and non-alcoholic at the theater. They also serve again during the intermission if youre so inclined.

This is a very unique theater with really amazing shows. We enjoyed the night of theater there. I would suggest the valet service. However, they do need to help solve some of the parking as it is difficult.The snacks were nice and light. The areas were clean. Nice areas to sit while awaiting the show. Overall a nice place to have an evening out.

I love this place. Come here visiting family around Christmas. Highly recommend the Christmas Carol and there fun twist on the original. FYI I have seen it twice, and they do change it up.

Not a bad seat in the house! (Front row might be too close). Janis joplin show was fantastic....so much more than expected! I dont know how they give that energy to the show everyday.....I know they will do very very well...such talent!

We watched A Christmas Carol! It was awesome! Marc Pouhe was just mesmerizing! I work with his wife and wanted to support him by going to watch it. My co worker and I that went were thrilled by the talent these actor/singers have!

Love the Zach Theater and all its other theaters. It great place to see local professional talent. Each show I have seen is amazing and the sets are beautiful.

We love this playhouse. Youre pretty close to the stage. The performances are generally outstanding. Weve seen some great plays here.

Recently saw the Janis Joplin show. The venue was terrific. The entertainment in the reception area was excellent before the show. The show itself was well done and I would like to see it again.

Amazing! The customer experience and personal touch the staff provides to insure everyone has a great time and is taken care of is second to none! I am impressed (and it takes a lot to impress me - LOL) Great Job!

Love this place! Chaperoned for a field trip and really enjoyed the trip, myself. The cast were so personable and waited at the door after the show to meet everyone - a lost art of its own, these days. Highly recommend!

Such a cute show for the kids. I went with my grandson for a field trip. We seen four short shows all from a storyline in childrens books.

It was our first time at the Zach Theatre, and well definitely be back. We watched Dracula and I was engrossed by the actors from the moment they stepped onto the stage. Even before the play began, the ambience of the tarot card readers, cocktail tables decorated with skulls, and the mysterious painting on the wall contributed to a delightful evening.

Great space, huge auditorium. Seen a couple shows there and it was very entertaining. Good for company events as well.

Went to the most outstanding Christmas Carol there this evening. Runs for another week. Do yourself a favor and go. Not a bad seat in the house!

I enjoyed the musical version of Christmas Carol. The new theater venue is fabulous though sadly when intermission came around there was a long queue to the water closet. Oddly the mens relief station had no queue. Other than that, the theater was a wonderful experience.

Great school field trip! Its a small venue with wonderful actors & puppeteers.

They always have such interesting plays. Its amazing how they can use such a small space to do something interesting and fun.

I love the authenticity and intimacy of the Zach Theatre. There is not a bad seat in the house and the performances that Ive seen are Great. Its also really special that you are able to shake hands and talk with the performers after the show. I just saw the opening night of Notes From the Field. It was beautifully written, performed, and Im so thankful to have this community in my neighborhood. Thank you Zach Theatre staff!

Zach Scott is always fun. I just saw Dracula there. They had the whole lobby decorated for the show and tarot card readers. Everyone there is always helpful.

The jungle book was a great play!

Love this venue, especially the Topfer Theater! The acoustics are wonderful and all seats Ive ever had have good views. The size of the theater is just right for excellent shows.

Very hospitable staff, theater very cozy, not a bad seat in the house, set design was awesome!

The show was great, but we had bad seats and missed part of the show that was at the back of the stage. Disappointing.

Loved this play. Theater is very clean and new. Its a high quality facility for sure. My kids clapped and were very excited to see it. They need a better food or snack option.

An brilliant part of Austins vibrant arts community bringing unique, inspiring, thought provoking and beautifully done performances. They also work hard to connect with and serve the community through excellent opportunities for kids and adults to not only see performances, but learn and participate in the full spectrum of dramatic arts production. If its showing at ZACH, its bound to be worth it!

Ann was great!! Made me miss her wit and it’s sting! The Topfer theatre is beautiful. I don’t think there is a “bad” seat in the house.

What a fabulous space for a fabulous experience! I chaperoned my sons 1st grade class on their field trip to see Tortoise and Hare. The cast was amazing, the costumes were fun and the set made me want to play o it...the length and pace was perfect to hold the attention of an audience of kids the. Entire. Time. Its been years since my last visit to Zach Scott, and I believe its high time for us to start going more often! Take your kids (if they dont go with their school) you will ALL enjoy it.

Good place for summer camps. My kids LOVED the camp, had a great time, learned a lot. The camp was well run and security was really good. Great camp, well be sending our kids here again next year.

Excellent theater, very modern. Enjoyed the seasonally topical play, Dracula that was very well acted and produced.

Every time I drop off my son for the summer program the junior counselors or the intern don’t acknowledge him, today I left him standing next to the wall by himself, his older sister had to came over to him to play with him.The junior counselors were sitting in a circle eating and not paying attention to him. To a 7 year old being left somewhere new is scary and I was hoping for a warm welcome each and every time I drop him off as I’m leaving him in their hands For the day.

I have always loved Zach Scott theater, but recently they out did themselves. Our 2nd graders went on field trip to see Tortoise and the Hare, the performance and acting was amazing and 100% engaging. Teachers and Students were blown away by the depth of the play, all connecting to a different life lesson or embedded theme. Its been the most educational and entertaining field lesson we have been to!

This is an amazing production. Great acting, beautiful dancers, beautiful costumes, great period piece. The story really draws you in. Beautiful, intimate theatre.

Loved it!!! Went with friends to see A Christmas Carol. Great cast and performance. Simply, Amazing! It is wonderful to have such great production and talent in ATX. Staff was welcoming, friendly and helpful. Had a chance to meet, talk and take pictures with Chanel; she plays the role of the Ghost of Christmas Present and other cast members. Great songs, choreography, inclusion... just go see it. Its worth it.

I have not ever experienced a bad show at this theater. They always seem to produce the most entertaining, relevant and thought provoking shows. From traditional to modern, and in many many different mediums and methods. Ive come to expect the unexpected. Come on and support your local performers!

Intimate venue, great acoustics. Great bar doesnt hurt either.

Pricey for a local theatre. But the shows are fun. Would be nice if they did field trip or group discount options like ballet Austin and others. But its fine for an occasional show here and there.

This is smallish theatre, giving it a more intimate feel. Staff is very welcoming. I recommend getting there at least a half hour early for good parking. Also really grateful that theyd bring a production as daring as Hedwig to the stage.

A Christmas Carol A Fantastic Reimaging of the Classes. A Must See

Went to a roller derby event here and it was awesome! The event space is nice. Its clean, spacious, and feels safe.

Saw Matilda which was amazing! The talent displayed was tremendous. A wonderful production worth seeing by anyone who loves great theatre.

The stage and play itself was incredible. Very talented singers, dancers and actors (one in the same). Nice clean, roomy bathrooms with full handicapped access throughout building.

Going to see Dracula next week. I love this venue.

I loved the play! It reminded me of when my cousins and I used to play school, house, ect. It was teuly amazing!

Great atmosphere, quality entertainment, and the show i went to even provided free snacks!I was impressed by the availability and levels of parking. You could pay to park close, but i was happy to walk just a few minutes for some free parking, it made the night that much easier on my bank account. :)

Great theater space. There are actually two theaters and the smaller one is so intimate its insane. We have season tickets and the parking lot is never full. So much better than going to the movies, and the cast always invites people back to the bar to meet them after the show.

A City of Austin theatre space with the ability to host Broadway productions (at near-Broadway prices). Plenty of local productions, too. Nice facility.

My daughter had a voice recital here about 2 weeks ago and had a wonderful time. They had free parking for the parents and we were able to bring in food and drinks for the kids for after their performance. The room that we set up in was more like a classroom then a theater type room however it was inexpensive and provide the kids a great experience.

Gorgeous space for a play. The lobby is large and comfortable and there a few bad seats to view the stage. I dont suggest the front two rows. Your eyes are stage height/

I actually went to Schlotzskys next door and havent been to this theater since I was a kid.

Great staff, excellent productions, wonderful environment for family entertainment!
