The service was really good the band that played was amazing.. However they were having a venue party towards the very back of the club that you could see when you went to the bathroom and not one person was wearing a mask and they were all congregating Id say about a 100 people. When I asked a security guard why were they not made to wear a mask or at least to social distance he simply said that they didnt have too.. That is not right because I felt very unsafe sitting in the front part of the bar because the people in the bank kept coming in-and-out totally exposing the rest of us. I believe that they should be made to social distance otherwise they should have had the party upstairs on the top roof where they are not exposing anyone else. This is VERY dangerous and to the manager of the bar this is so wrong! I felt completely unsafe! You do not want people catching the COVIDZ virus and then having to let everyone know that they got it at YOUR bar. If you want to keep your business open you really need to do a better regarding the social distanceing and keep everyone comfortably safe.

Made a reservation for Terrace59 at the rooftop of Speakeasy downtown. This place was amazing! There were multiple levels of bars to choose from each with different types of music - anyone could find their niche here. This was one of the few spots in Austin we were able to secure a table reservation in an open air bar with views of the city skyline. A little pricey for bottles in my opinion, but definitely worth the trip if you like things a little more private with service.

Fun place to gather with friends for live music entertainment and drinks. The place feels intimate with three floors to explore. The decor of the ground floor takes you back a few years with a beautiful bar and period lighting creating a great mood. The second floor has a two-lane bowling alley, darts, and lounge to hang out with friends. The rooftop bar and patio has lots of great seating to accommodate gathering with small or larger groups. The view is lovely as well. Lighted drink menus add to the ambience. All this makes for a night to remember.

The rooftop has a beautiful view of downtown Austin. The bathrooms upstairs are disgusting and really need some remodeling. The door in one stall doesnt swing all the way open and the latch to lock the door is broken. Floor Tiles are cracked and broke. Also, do not take the elevator! Scariest loudest sounds ever! There is even a sign taped to the wall instructing you whom to call if the elevator breaks. Besides that its a decent bar. They have a bowling lane as well.

This is definitely a nice place to come and hang out. There are three levels: the ground level has nice bar and is a spacious dancefloor. As you make your way to the second level it overhangs the stage on the first and theres two-lane bowling if youre feeling competitive. Up on third the level, as the guy at the door said Mt. Everest because by the time you get there itll feel like youve climbed a mountain, your efforts will be rewarded by a plush setting ideal for a date or just lounging. Youll have a good-ish view from on high after your ascent into the stratosphere. Its a cozy place that happen to have live music the night I went, although the bartender informed me that most nights of the week there is. So if youre looking for a place to hang out with a group of friends or a to take a date you cant lose with this place...especially if you happened to have skipped leg day that week.

The sound guy in the private room has an inability to do his job properly. The sound balance was way off and painful to deal with for anyone in the front half. When asked if he could bring the volume down, he rudely claimed he knew how to do his job then said we could leave and go somewhere else if we didn’t like it. Not the right way to behave with a group that has just rented out the venue. To the owners: there are plenty of capable sound people in this town, don’t look bad due to a bad choice.

Here are the facts of what happened when I visited here:-me and my two friends ordered 3 beers-one of my friends had a phone that was about to die, and asked if the bartending staff had a charger to use-they said they would let him charge his phone for $10, and the bar staff had clearly been drinking (Sunday night)-when my friend questioned a $10 fee to charge his phone, the off-duty bartending staff threatened physical violence against him and the on duty bartender ripped the beers out of mine and my friends hands without warning and threw them awayI don’t understand what’s up with the wait staff of this bar and have never experienced anything close to this, and would strongly recommend against anyone cling here.

I normally love any bar with a rooftop patio, but I do think Speakeasy is majorly overpriced even compared to some nicer West 6 bars - $7 for a Dos XX in a bottle? No thanks - the lady bartenders on the roof were super sweet, but one of the ones on the Mezzanine was really rude. Not into it.

This place is NOT a Speakeasy. No great line up of whiskeys & gins here either. They couldn’t even make most of the drinks on their cocktail list nor a Pisco Sour. Sticker shock: A Lonestar tallboy is $6, a local Mosaic 12oz. was $7, a Tito’s Moscow mule was $15.50. The DJ was way too loud & the music didn’t fit the space or vibe, unless Dirty-6 clubs music is your vibe. Just because you have to walk up 4 flights of stairs to access this bar does not make it a Speakeasy. Fail.

This place is a fun destination for a night out. It has three stories with a different vibe for each one. The first story has a bar and stage. They normally have live music for dancing. Review №73

Hands down the worst costumer I have ever experienced. I had billing issues after being there the night before where one of their bartenders added more to the total than what we had consumed. I went to speak to a manager named Brad and he didn’t know how to reverse the charges that were added so he offered to take care of the whole tab for that night. After a few days I noticed that it was never refunded and went back to bar to speak to a manager. That day I met with Kevin and quickly noticed how careless he was about the situation and was incredibly rude when I confronted him about what he’s employees said they would do and even walked away as I was still speaking to him. Kevin is the most incompetent manager I have had the displeasure of speaking to and his unprofessional attitude is absolutely unacceptable. It’s astonishing that this bar would employ someone like him given the nature of the business. In total I spoke to 3 managers and the third manager was named Paul. He asked all the questions about my situation told me it would get refunded and that never happened. All these managers aren’t people of their word and have no follow through. The place itself is in a great location but the service is just atrocious. Given that I work in hotels I will recommend to any and every person that I speak with to never step foot in this place. These is no accountability in this place and it’s ran by people that can less about taking care of their patrons and more about what money they can keep for themselves even when it their mistake.
