I went to see a movie on my birthday and was surprised when they noticed it was my birthday they gave me my ticket for free! I am not signed up for any rewards program or anything like that.. and they didn’t ask me to become a member or do anything. They just heard one of my friends say something about my birthday and the guy offered me a free ticket no questions asked! Alamo Drafthouse is a great company and I have loved going ever since they only had the original single theater downtown, but they keep finding ways to make the movie going experience better and better!

The Drafthouse was a classic Austin experience. Watching a movie while being able to drink and eat is ideal and thats why people love em. We shared some fried pickles and chicken tendys w/fries. We also each got a shake (cookie dough and strawberry) and then I ordered two drinks (margarita something or other and truth serum). Service was super great and accommodating and our experience made watching this C- movie way, way better.

I was part of the team that built this gorgeous theater. Great service, good food, a really good drink menu, and a very nice elevated patio. My favorite part is the grand staircase, has a very 40s vibe to it. Oh, and dont freak out about the unisex bathroom. Its a little weird at first but, hey, everyone pees.

This place is dope. Ive never had a cinema experience that had waitstaff and full menus. They are hardly noticeable when meandering around. Food was pretty good with large portions. Really comfortable seats as well. Will def be back here and wanting to try the other locations

It was a cool theater. I love the decorations and location. They do validate parking so you can park in the parking lot. There is a bar/restaurant inside as well. The menu is quirky. The movie theaters are upstairs. The seats recline only on the legs which was a little disappointing but still better than a regular movie theater. The seats are very comfortable. The other cool thing is you can order food and drinks! They will walk around and pick up your order if you write it on a sheet of paper. I had the chips and queso and the adult shake - I forgot the name but it has whiskey, vanilla, and cinnamon. Everything was amazing. I would definitely go back and try other items especially the cookie milkshake the server recommended. There is a little light at each seat so you can see the menu. It’s not distracting either. Overall it’s a good place.

Love the draft house! They have an excellent movie choices... BUT they always have excellent service and food. I’m gluten free and dairy free and they always fix everything to my specifications. I love their burgers and egg BLT and they have an excellent gluten free bun!! They also have hot tea if you want to enjoy “spot of tea.”If you’re not gluten or dairy free their assortment of unique food is spot on. Prior to being dairy free I would order their salted Carmel milkshake. Honestly the best milkshake I had ever had.... just thinking about it makes me want to cheat.

This is one of the newer Alamo theaters, its so clean and kept up. It doesnt have the smell like the other Alamos do. Service is always spectacular and as quick as they during a rush. My food has always arrives hot and fresh . Who doesnt love dinner and a movie?

This is a beautiful theatre, the staff is very attentive and the food is amazing. When you visit an Alamo Draft House you can expect a good time. If I were to add a minor gripe it would be that I am 62 and the theatre seating doesnt recline enough for me to truly relax. My 52 friend can kick back perfectly though so just expect to use the seats normally if youre tall. Enjoy the show cause this place is great !

Awesome staff, first to meet Trey, RJ and a few others are excellent at their jobs. I can hardly wait to go back. The Bar, off the chain. Great live bands and a really great DJ. The Food, well, it is DA Bomb! Especially the meatless burgers, you will swear, youre eating meat. See manager Gina or any other for a great visit.

I mean, anyone in the area knows this is the most comfortable Alamo in town. The chairs actually recline, even if you dont go VIP! I also KNOW that people know this because it is almost always sold out an hour or two before the show, so buy your tickets in advance. Parking is validated in the garage, but otherwise it costs to street park. They have limited showings, but the barrel o fun bar has nice cocktails that theyll deliver to your seat. Pretty solid.

Good movie experience. Tickets are usually cheaper in Alamo Drafthouse than in other movie theaters. The videos they make to play before each movie are so good and informative.Seats have a good size and spacing.This particular location has a nice patio upstairs where you can sit on the balcony, its very neat.

Alamo is just my fave. This one is always clean. Service is great. And super weird, but love the bathrooms. Theyre all little single stalls so super inclusive for trans and non-binary friends and easy for families.

Fantastic new location in the heart of the Mueller district which is minutes from downtown. This particular location has a patio for drinks and all of the theaters are upstairs. The chairs are leather and have reclining abilities and are fully stocked with menus and the staff is always extremely helpful and friendly. The bathroom situation might be a little confusing for some, as the bathrooms with a stall and a door are shared by both male and female alike. There is a separate room for the males that only contain urinals… But the women must use the unisex room that consists of nothing but stalls indoors. Additionally, downstairs there is a mini saloon type bar where you may enjoy drinks at tables or at the bar. Occasionally, they will host events throughout the week that fit the Austin vibe perfectly. For example, once I stumbled into the saloon to grab a pre-movie drink and there just happen to be a game of drag queen bingo! Yes that’s right. A drag queen sat center stage and called out numbers to play bingo and the prizes were humorous in nature and the rules a bit different But the entire atmosphere was relaxed, friendly, loving and welcoming to all. The crowd consisted of young adults to people well above 40 years old, straight, gay, bi, queer, non-binary... A safe space for some legitimate keep Austin weird vibes. Certain game nights or events may not be suitable for children. Parking is also available in a garage right next door and your ticket for parking is validated so that you do not have to worry about an additional cost. Definitely worth a visit if you enjoy great food while watching a movie.

First time ever eating at an Alama Drafthouse and I cannot recommend highly enough. Saw Sonic the Hedgehog there with my best friend while I was visiting Austin, and although I would have loved to be able to order a gin and tonic called Gin and Sonic for the occasion, I got a chocolate milkshake instead and it was superb. The seats dont fully recline but they are comfortable nonetheless, and the waitstaff walking through with food and drink during the film isnt nearly as distracting as Id expected.

Tried the Alamo for All (sensory/kid friendly screening) today and it was great! The volume was lower, the lights werent as dark, and all the kids were blessedly pretty well behaved. Nice kids menu too! Grateful for the early morning time, perfect distraction for a kiddo on a school holiday.

Saw Ralph Broke the Internet! My son wore headphones to the special screening for special needs kids. We ate popcorn, pizza and pasta! We will be back! Thank you to Variety for making this event possible. My son loved it!!! Me too.

Comfortable intimate stadium seating theaters. Recliners and individual tables are a plus for movie goers. Menu options are available for many dietary needs. The recliners are elevated, so the wait staff do not interfere with your movie watching. Parking in an attached garage. Get your parking ticket validated at the ticket desk. Also, you reserve your specific seats.

Love this location! Its a bit further for me but the upgraded seats are well worth it. As with any Drafthouse the food and drink are on point, especially the whiskey selection. Bring your ticket from the garage for validation! If you forget the parking is still pretty cheap tho.

It was a really nice movie theater! Its clean unlike the other one I went to. This one had really good food! I had a vegan burger and fries which tasted really good! I also had crispy buffalo cauliflower, it was a little spicy but it was still SO GOOD! The movie I watched was great too! I had went to see Harriet! I enjoyed it more than I thought I would! Id definitely go here again! The food prices werent as crazy as I had expected them to be!

Beautiful theatre,Super rad downstairs bar area and everything is accessible , the staff in welcomingFood is pricey but very tasty, not your typical overpriced movie theatre junk.I had the buffalo cauliflower and V- ranchTHEY HAVE A VEGAN MENU!!Also they validate parking which is helpful because Aldrich and mueller in general is trash for parking.I will definitely and look forward to being back.

The best place to watch a movie with nice food and drink.

I mean the food and drinks alone were amazing. Truly outstanding. The loaded fries and the burger were top drawer. Great service. And the movie was perfect. The chairs dont have foot rest that rise all the way but the staff needs room to move. So its understandable.

Another great Alamo location. Lots of fun food and drink on the menu. Comfortable seating. Only negative is the bathrooms. I am a fan of unisex bathrooms usually but the set up here is not good. Better ventilation might help.

Loved my experience! I was visiting Austin and just wanted to see a nice movie, instead I got a full experience. Im glad I got there early to take in all the cool art and posters on the wall. The service was great and the options were plenty. The prices were also very fair. Next time Im in Austin I know where Im going!

The movie was fine our waitress was great. But the staff at the front of the theater was extremely rude. Not only was he rude to me when I asked about seat availability but I watched as he was so rude to another couple that they turned and left. My boyfriend was later treated poorly (by the same employee conveniently not wearing a name tag) when he asked for validation. We all know the service industry can suck, but its your job to be hospitable.

Very different than the one in New Braunfels and certainly the one here in Corpus Christi Texas. Similar atmosphere in the theaters and overall theme of the building. Food choices are good. It would be GREAT IF YOU CAN TRADE MENU OPTIONS WITH THE ALAMO DRAFTHOUSE here in CORPUS CHRISTI TEXAS.

I’m giving a 4 star because of something out of their control - sitting next to someone chomping on chips or slurping their drink can be pretty annoying. The prices are a bit high but it’s very comfortable and the tickets are on average with other theaters. Comfy chairs too!

Great service and nice people. It would be great if the servers could allow the guest to remove their coats and put purses down before badgering individuals. I wasnt able to sit down before the guy was bothering me about tickets. Im familiar with the Draft House and if I wouldve sat in the wrong seat I wouldve gladly moved. If they could be a bit more patient! :-)

Perfect for date night. The bar downstairs is circus themed with good drinks, and the theaters upstairs are comfortable. They show all the latest movies.

This theater is seriously great. The rest of the movie theater industry is dying, but Drafthouse is growing, and by a lot! How do they do it? Well, fantastic food, drinks, great movies including oldies and events, and pre-shows that are in most cases enjoyable as the movies themselves, and a movie-going culture that is seriously a diamond in the rough. Can’t say enough great things about this theater.

Very cool environment for movies. Its a dine in movie with reclining seats, but the decor is very vintage/old school theatre. Friendly service. And theres a bar downstairs with karoke!

The theater is beautiful. Theatre is upstairs but there is an elevator. Food quality is on par with the Alamo Drafthouse brand. The staff are also very friendly and quick to take orders. Spouse and saw Downton Abby. Great date night. Havent checked out the bar downstairs yet but I look forward to attending a happy hour soon. Awesome addition to the neighborhood.

What can be said about Alamo Drafthouse in general that hasnt already been said. Theyre all awesome. Mueller is probably my favourite one in Austin. The staff are consistently excellent, and the food and drink selection is awesome.

Would you like to know the epitome of customer service?His name is TREY and he works at the front desk.I came in 10 minutes into my movie 1917 and when i went to scan my new season pass it didnt show the seat i selected over an hour ago. I must have exited the app to soon and it did not process.I had rushed over, ran in, slightly flustered and with the grace of Buddha himself, trey assessed that i was a new season pass member, checked my recently films and noticed i had not used one that day and promptly issued a comp for a seat near where i originally selected. Words can not describe my gratitude for this young man.As someone with anxiety and very greatly wanting to see this film, once again thank you.

This Drafthouse is one of the newest in the area. I enjoy the recliner seating as well as the soace between you amd the neighbor. The cinematic visuals are great quality and the sound emphasizes a great experience.

The tables could have been a bit bigger and moveable, mine was so far away from me it was ridiculous, a bigger person would have been fine. They were tiny as well. The seats were comfy and the view was good. Service was excellent.

The theaters are nice, as are the seats. Still not a huge fan of the servers walking in front of the screen. The prices are insane. 13 dollars for a diet soda and popcorn. The food cost as much as the movie ticket! If you can avoid Alamo Drafthouse then you should. But, sometimes theyre the only moviehouse showing certain movies.

This is my go-to theatre for all new movies. I love the seating they have (not packed in like sardines) and the food is so good. They get creative with certain items on their menu and theme food to match popular movies they are showing.I wish that they would turn off the table lights after about an hour into the movie. I know the lights are there so you can read the menu and order food, but they can be distracting from the screen.Food is expensive, and I do not enjoy paying additional fees to order my ticket online (if I did not order online, I wouldnt get a seat). But overall a great theatre to see new movies at.

Excellent establishment and experience!!!! Basically its much like regular theater but you are served foods and drinks. This is slightly different than other similar theaters that have all their tables basically at the same eye level. The Alamo had spacious plush leather reclining stadium style seating. I really enjoyed watching and relaxing at the movies!

New to the Alamo but I had heard about it previously. It lived up to the hype. It was the best viewing experience Ive had. Food was amazing. Service was superb. You can tell they love the cinema experience because they take it seriously. Loved it.

Update: went back and got great service. The webpage to get tickets in advance is a little crazy. But the service was a little better this time. I say a little bc we ordered 2 drinks and we got them both....but not at the same time. I thought that was strange. But at least we got them.

I loved the ambience created here. There was special emphasis on making the movie experience easy, comfortable and fun. Loved the parmesan herb on the popcorn!

First time in an Alamo Drafthouse and now my views on what a theater can be has totally shifted. Comfy recliner seats, food and drinks brought to you quietly, decently sized eating areas, giant screens, and amazing audio. Theres nothing like it and so, I have no complaints, but I do have some tips.First, park in the parking garage off to the side. Seems to be the same pricing as parking along the street, plus you get a longer maximum parking time.Second, get to your show early. This will guarantee your food or drinks will come out as the show gets started, instead of having to struggle to write in the dark.Speaking of writing, bring an extra pen! The pens they had out for my girlfriend and I both didnt work, but luckily she had an extra in her purse.And finally, dont order the mixed drinks. Its just ice.This is the best theater Ive seen a movie in, bar none. Id hate to live in any city that didnt have an Alamo Drafthouse.

Love this Alamo! Great theater, good food, good service, comfy seats with individual tables, and lots to do around the theater before and after the show. The decor is always really interesting as well. And they have later showings than some of the other Alamos. Lastly, the location is fairly central and easy to get to right off of I-35. Probably my favorite movie theater in town!

Personally prefer this Alamo to all others in Austin, the venue is brand new and very clean. No bad seats in any theater. Food is the typical alamo menu, nothing too special - but satisfying.

Alamo is the best movie theater ever, period! Food is great, eating experience while watching movies is very convenient, the lack of commercials is awesome, and the respect for level of noise is better than in any other theater. And, out of all locations, this is my favorite, it is very new, has enough free parking spots and is in one of the best parts of the Austin.

Efficiently run. All seats are reclining chairs! Possibly the very best of all the Austin Alamo locations, even despite being so shiny and new!

Ive visited the Alamo both here, in Austin and in Raleigh NC. It is a great movie experience that could only be improved upon if it were free.Get there early as the short subjects are well worth it.Unobtrusive waiters, a good menu and a decent drink selection really adds to the experience. The seats with attached tables make dining in the dark while watching a movie very enjoyable.

Comfortable seats. I ordered a margarita. Want expecting much from a theater but it was actually good. Got the cheeseburger and it was good too.

We came to see a movie. Just a movie. But you cant JUST see a movie here. The building and all the painted movie posters were amazing and we REALLY liked how it was decorated. The seats inside the theater were super comfortable and reclined and who doesnt like THAT!? We intended to buy a great big popcorn and then share the candy from the bottom of my purse (hey, I am just leaving an HONEST review! And who HASNT done this? I dont mind the growing ticket price OR paying $15 for popcorn, but Im drawing the line at the candy! Come ON!!) None of that mattered or came into play as for the MAJORITY of the film AND no where to purchase popcorn their servers dodged in and out of the isles, back and forth in front of me so many times I lost HUGE plot points of my movie!!! YES!! I AM GOOD!! I want to point out they were VERY sweet and were only trying to do their JOBS but now I have NO IDEA why the crazy people were all wearing red suits!! (Ive since Googled it, but I PAID to SEE it!) This is a great idea for folks that want to drink bar drinks and eat hot food as they watch a movie and I get that! The Alamo is for you!! But if you just want to watch a movie, a traditional theatre is a better bet!

Best Alamo in Austin hands down! Also, for some reason the food is much better here than the other locations.

Its the Alamo. They know how to make a great experience. What I like about this one more than others is the area, the circus themed bar, and the selection of films. There are only 6 screens, but, they rotate the movies enough that you have a great choice of the big franchise films and the more clever Alamo-style screenings that they are famous for.

Great movie house with very comfortable chairs and a decent vegan food options. If youre not vegan, the food options are quite abundant. Parking is quite adequate and the theater personnel are polite, friendly and accomadating.Also a nice location with a variety of food places and curious little shops, all within walking distance. Also, a nice little park and walkway to stroll around till your movie starts.

This is the best Alamo Draft House that I have been too. My wife and I always go out of our way to watch a movie at this location. The entire location is impressive. There is an awesome pub down the road and the Torchys is good. Other than that the Draft House has really good pizza and brunch options. It’s never a dull moment at the Draft House.

Its a very comfortable theater and they serve food during the film. They also have strick policies to keep the theater quite and enjoyable.

Always a good time! Barrel of fun for trivia night was really fun, and they have a great food menu for when youre watching movies!

Without a doubt one of the best movie theater experiences Ive ever had. To start, you can order your tickets via the web or their mobile app which makes things incredibly easy. Im all for convenience! This allows you to save time when you arrive at Alamo Drafthouse, you simply walk to the theater showing your movie.Typically I like to be there 30 minutes prior to the start time to order beverages and food. This way Im not munching down while action is going on and Im distracted, plus I think its cool not to disturb your fellow seat mates.Beyond the overall ease of seeing a movie at the Mueller location, is the design. I completely appreciate being able to get in and out of my seat without a hassle. The older Drafthouse locations are a bit tough at times with the single table across the entire row. And one further cool design element, the chairs recline!Last but certainly not least, I appreciate the service. 98% of the time the good folks working there are great. You can tell they enjoy their job, they are always prompt and friendly.The food is your typical pub style offerings and are satisfying. I also appreciate their solid tap list, well done Alamo Beer Buyer!All and all its my go to moviehouse and Im glad they are in my hood.

One of my favorite places to watch movies in Austin. Add to that the value I get from my Alamo Season Pass and its entirely a great experience.

They come out hot and gooey every time, and a la mode is worth the extra charge.You can park in the garage--the front desk will validate parking! (4 hours worth)Go early! They always have great clips of old film relevant to the movie showing. Doors generally open 30 minutes before the show time.The seats do recline in all theaters (not exceptionally far back, but the foot rests go up plenty). The second rows from the screens are not too bad, but the first row is a no-go.

This was my first time attending an Adult Cereal Party viewing and it was magical! All you can eat sugary cereal and varieties of milks! Thank you for inventing this!

I love the Alamo, but this location in particular deserves five stars because they now have their buzzer system in place. Within a minute of pressing a button, our server showed to take our order. Plus, this locale is great if you want a coffee nearby or want to take a relaxing walk after your movie.

Always a great experience at the Drafthouse. Great food and drinks, staff is always friendly, and the parking isnt terrible. The reclining seats are a huge plus, especially if your back bothers you for sitting too long. Havent been to the restaurant downstairs, but Ive heard good things.

The popcorn was a little stale, but since they give you such a huge amount, I can understand why it isnt all fresh. They validated parking if you parked in the garage, which I thought was super nice! A great way to watch movies. Huge comfy chairs and food and drinks delivered straight to your table? What more could you want? Though I wouldnt watch anything too serious as the staff moving around waiting tables does take you out of the movie once in awhile

Great friendly service, awesome comfy recliners for seats, delicious food, ample parking.We had the pepperoni pizza, buffalo cauliflower, and two cocktails. None of their food ever disappoints. The cookie trio is really good too- three huge, fresh baked cookies.Lots of vegan/vegetarian menu options as well.

This is my new favorite movie theatre. And this is coming from a guy who has spent a lot of money at iPic. Great service, prices and food. Theatre foyer is awesome too. Makes you really appreciate the cinema. All in all the best experience you could ask for.

The movie chairs are super comfy. They recline a bit and the arm rest are wide enough so no elbow war with the neighbor. The hallways to get to the theaters are super cool. Food always delicious.They validate parking so you can park in the connecting garage, you can get it done before your movie in case you tend to forget.

I love this whole area! First time Ive been in Mueller and it felt like a smaller but growing Domain. It has neat little shops and the Alamo was clean and decorated really fun. I loved how the walls were painted. They did mess up my food so it took a long time til I could eat but the waitress was really nice and my drinks came quickly. The little bar on the bottom floor has a great selection of beers and the bartender was knowledgeable and friendly. Really liked it.

One of the newer editions in the Drafthouse lineup and it shows. The place is pristine, well laid out and perfect for a weekend movie. Great popcorn too!

Not sure if it’s a Texas thing or an Alamo thing, but the service here could use fine-tuning. Not a very welcoming atmosphere. I had a bit of time before my flight home and was in the area, so decided to go try the Alamo experience before leaving. Was treated very poorly like I was a criminal with my carryon and backpack. I got my ticket and dropped my bags at my seat to use the restroom where I was followed and told that I needed to take them with me for safety. My server was pretty condescending in the ordering process. I was watching a long movie and I guess, at some point, dozed, at which time the server literally poked me in the chest to wake me up.
