It feels like an urban renovation and it has a very nice restaurant called Sa - Tén as its tenant great food would recommend the katsu Curry.

This is a hidden gem in Austin. There are so many resources for creatives in this place along with a really cool production studio.My company LNB broductions shot these awesome music performance video at the studio there and we are elated on how they turned out.

EAST is a wonderful chance to absorb what the studios have going on all year long. Stop in, meet the artist, see a performance, mingle with friend and grab some food and drink. A great couple of weekends, but the food and drink are always available.

Great place for walking with coffee shops, food, and art galleries to go to. Parking is Also very easy and accessible.

We come to the East Studio Tour every year and absolutely love it. We have a great time seeing art from a ton of different people and just relax and enjoy other peoples talents.

The Best Curry In Austin

So much going on here. Probably would’ve been better to go on a weekday when more people are around and businesses are open. There are cafes, galleries, odd shops, fine art studios, design studios, and the list goes on.

Enjoyed the event. Good vibes and good art.

This complex offers a ton of fresh and varied art viewing opportunities in one spot. Its got the usual pedestrian junk but there a lot of gems to be found in the labyrinth of studios.

Awesome event and displays

Dig this art space. Also has Sa-Ten and Austin EastCiders brewery is across the street. Done a couple portrait-modeling jobs here. Nice place.

Beautiful, wish I could afford it!

Far too expensive. Apartments like this continue to drive up the cost of living to the point that only the rich can afford to live here. This building is part of whats ruining Austin.

Cool shops here

Beautiful art studios and a lovely well curated gift shop. Also stop in the coffee shop Saten for a drink and toast!

Hosts annual EAST tours.

Canopy has great open studio events, and the galleries have great shows. Sa-Ten offers a great place to work and sip some coffee. Head next door to the Museum of Human Achievement for more good art shows.

Quality food....a bit of a wait but worth it

This is an excellent place to catch a glimpse of several local artists in one stop. If you are visiting Austin for a day or two and enjoy art, I highly recommend that you visit this gallery conglomerate. Check the hours of operation before you visit to prevent disappointment.

A former decaying Goodwill shipping center; this building has shed its ugly duckling past and is becoming a beautiful swan. The canopy is an haven for artistic/creative types. With a handful of art studios, boutiques and an excellent coffee shop, Canopy though fairly new, will become a haven on the east side. So much potential in this complex. Sa Ten coffee is a beautiful well lit place with a bright and gorgeous future, not to mention its BYOB. Some view it as gentrification, in this case its more like beautification.
