Usually the owner is nice, not sure what happened last time. Everyone is allowed a bad day. But the guys working outside loading pots were I incredible. The were working hard and fast and still had time to welcome people and help them find items and prices.

What an amazing place, find all the Unique pottery and statues worthy of upscale decor at reasonable prices. I bought some hand blown plates w mounting brackets that I couldn’t find anywhere else! So cool

Wish their website was better, even if cant order online at least have idea of whats in stock + prices/price range.I did see a few items I liked but didnt buy anything because even discounted, still too expensive.And Ive been wanting to check out store for years, finely make time to go, but very disappointed about lack of COVID-19 safety protocols.: no masks on staff, dont require customers to wear (we were), and when speaking with staff they come within 6 of us. smh.Also saw other customers who either wore mask when walking from one spot to another, but otherwise had it around neck. When left saw customer arrive, wearing mask, but removed it as soon as walked through front gate.I will never visit again unless staff starts putting safety protocol into place, or were truly past the pandemic.

It makes me sad to see this place going out of business Ive always wanted to visit here but never had. I saw the sign of going out of business. Pottery up for half price of everything will be sorry to see Miguels go.

Awesome shop with a wide array of pots, statues, and water fixtures. They are preparing to move so there is a big sale, definitely recommend checking this place out.

This is my favorite store in Austin. Sad to see it go. The owner must be struggling with the loss, he was difficult to talk to. Beautiful supplies.

I came here after researching online. All the reviews are not wrong! I loved this place, has great pottery selection and very fair pricing. Its sad that it will be closing soon! I met the owner Miguel, he has such a great chill way. I suggest you visit.

Great discounts on really nice pottery and the alike. Spoke with the owner who was extremely friendly. Sounds like he is selling the property so it doesnt sound as if the place will be around much longer. Good time to buy.

I wish I had discovered this place sooner, amazing huge inventory of all different sizes and colors/patterns of gardening pots. Good front parking lot available. And even more inside his indoor shop that I didnt even get a chance to look at. Lots of discount signs everywhere. The owner was so friendly and helpful, and said after 25 years of local ownership he sold his shop :-( so better get your pots while its still around! He said they will be closing down probably summer 2020. Probably a monstrous apartment complex will be next. Ill be back many times before then

Finally had my first Miguel’s experience. Had a deal on chimeneas for 55 bucks! The largest and best selection within the city limits for sure. Friendly people here that are very helpful - great loading job in my car too. Didn’t move around much on 2222

This place has a good selection of pots and prices are reasonable. I appreciate Miguels service and his stories of trips he made deep into Mexico to buy his pots. I highly recommend shopping here.

So much beautiful pottery! Almost to much selection. Hard to choose my favorite. Reasonable price for the size and quality of large pots. Im sure well be back for more pots in the future.

A alot of unique things, but its more of just a pottery shop than anything. Not a whole lot of what you would associate with garden besides the immense number of pots. Very pricey. Some succulents.

Liked the selection still a little pricey

I took my mom to buy a small table for her new courtyard and to purchase one for myself. We bought 2 tables and two large hand-crafted pots. The staff has always been helpful and the product is the best! I buy many items online but large pottery like this is not available and the shipping would be too much. I have supported this local business over and over because they treat their customers and their staff very well! The prices are fair and the sales are really good.

Been going here for years. AMAZING selection of ceramic pottery, all sizes in endless colors and glazes, or un-glazed beautiful red pottery. Everything is priced according to size and color. Very affordable. Cant say enough about this place, I love it!

A friend of mine recommended Miguels to me when I was redecorating my garden. I was hesitant, because in my experience stores like this just carry more expensive stuff you could easily purchase at a Home Depot. Miguels COMPLETELY changed my mind.This store is surprisingly huge and I was practically overwhelmed by choice. The staff was extremely helpful. Miguel seemed to enjoy telling me all about where each piece of pottery came from (Vietnam, Thailand, Indonesia, Mexico, etc). Miguels is stuffed with HAND-MADE ARTISAN pottery and outdoor decorations (plus a great variety of desert plants) that are absolutely beautiful, amazingly well priced, and really outstandingly good quality. Im going to be back soon to buy some furniture for my patio... and maybe some early Christmas and birthday gifts from all the cool looking things on the inside of the store too.

I will not return to this place again!! When purchasing a planter I was charged the wrong price despite the correct price tag being on the planter and telling them it was the wrong price. Found out later that he had also tried to charge my sister the wrong/higher price on her purchase as well. Sounds to me like he is trying to rip people off!!!!

Best selection of Spanish/Mexican pots. Mostly outdoor home goods, but they also have things that could work indoors.

I am a native of Mexico and when homesick enjoy very much visiting Miguels Imports, a store I have frequented for many years here in Austin. The store has the feel of a zocalo or open square, sorrounded with terraces full of bright pottery and flowers. The variety of folk art from my country is extensive but Miguels also carries beautiful product from other parts of the world as well. Their pottery collection is the largest that I have seen in Austin and when I need a beautiful pot I always know where to find it at the best price. Miguel and his staff are always very helpful and make you fell right at home.

The place has a huge selection of things every kind of pottery thing you can ever imagine million dollar stock probably and the girls are pretty nice guy they really help you out there little big Spencer Maybe but worth it

Amazing store... greeted right as I walked through the gate. Blown away by the intresting pots, water fountains and. Lighting fixtures. Cant wait to get back to my place and start lanscaping using my new purchaces as lawn center pieces. I recomend this store to everyone
