Friendly staff, adorable back patio for outdoor tastings, and beautiful grounds. Tasting flight is only $7, and all the wines were delicious. Our favorite was the Cab Franc!

Pretty, shaded outdoor tasting for covid on the hot smoky Thursday afternoon I visited. No one else there at 12:30. Cheerful service with cold water. I got to go in the tasting room to pay since I was the only customer (and masked). The cab franc was nice. I walked from the Toyota dealer nearby, but some shoulders are narrow, so I cant recommend that.

Picked up my club package and a case of the excellent Zin-Bera. Staff says they are still in lockdown until next week when wine tasting returns. Social distancing encouraged. Food truck out of food just after one, not Mt. Vernons fault. Was a beautiful day that brought a lot of people out. Dreaded Sunday drinkers. Of course, many churches are still closed so whats one to do? Mt. Vernon Winery has always been a friendly and satisfying destination. Wines good to great. Oh, and arrive early if the food trucks are scheduled.

Ive been going to Mt Vernon Winery since 2007 and let me tell you, it is hands-down the best wine in the Sierra Foothills. Not only is the wine fantastic, but the staff are incredibly friendly and will make you feel right at home. Ive done several tastings with Ryan the wine maker and he an incredibly friendly and gracious host. You cant go wrong by visiting Mt Vernon. Their wine is second to none and the ambiance is wonderfully relaxing. Do yourself a favor and stop by when you get a chance. You wont regret it!

Out of all the wineries we visit we always enjoy Mt. Vernon Winery. They have a fantastic variety of delicious wines to taste and they now have sparkling wine! They have a lovely patio overlooking the vineyards to relax and enjoy a nice glass of wine with friends. We love the owners and the staff is awesome. I love to drop in for my wine release and visit with Jeri, shes awesome! I highly recommend this winery.

One of my favorite wineries in town! I love the vibe that Jeri Green has. She makes my wine tasting experience fabulous. We enjoy to share the taste of the delicious wines with our friends that come visit.

Love the winery! It is so beautiful that we decided to do our wedding there. Lynda, the owner, is so kind and friendly. She was a great host! Very helpful and understanding.

Very surprised by the negative ratings, but then again they seem to be from people angry about something other than the wine and winery. We have been club members for almost 10 years and we have always found our visits to be quite enjoyable. We have done blind tastings of Mt. Vernon wines with our friends in LA, NYC, and FL and the Mt Vernon wines have held their own against some very high end names like Caymus, Peter Michael, and Phelps Insignia. Love this vineyard and their wine!!

Really disappointed with this place. We were really looking forward to having a good time but on the contrary. My biggest issue with them were the pours during wine tasting. They have a long list (front and back) for tasting and every single pour that was given to us was mediocre. The old lady with glasses and short blond hair couldnt have made it anymore obvious. I was paying attention to her pours with others and ours and they werent the same. She knew what she was doing and I should have called her out on it. Waste of my saliva. It was pretty clear she didnt appreciate the gays coming through to support her business. Even though we bought two bottles of wine from this lame place we still supported their small business. Definitely not coming back. Dont carry your sparkle into the place. Simply not recommended.

Driving around we stumble to this winery. Although its not high end by all means, they do have decent wine but great service, great environment and great pricing.First, their wine tasting is very inexpensive; $9.00 for 16 samples cant beat that. Staff here are very friendly and their outdoor patio is real nice with tables and shades where you can sit and have lunch while enjoying their wine. As for us, we called and had pizza delivered for the kids while the grownups sampled the wine.Dont expect any expensive fine wine here but if youre looking for an everyday wine to go with your meal, get them here.

My wife and I stumbled (no pun intended) onto this place after a day of hiking with our kids. We were not dressed up for wine tasting while a well drrssed group walked in. We were treated the same and they attended to us just the same. good experience.

If I could give negative stars I would. It was my birthday weekend and we drove around looking for this winery after stopping at a few other beautiful ones. I was excited to go in and didnt realize it was almost closing time....until I heard the woman working the bar blurt out loudly Ill let you tell them we close in 4 minutes. The other woman walked over and told us exactly that. We were never given a warm hello or welcome in.We were asked to hurry and leave. They only had one white wine to offer me and it was horrible. While drinking this glass on limited time, I looked around and realized how run down the place was. it was a real dive. The decor looked like it was 3 decades old and had never been remodeled. Ive been to wineries from Santa Ynez, Napa, Sonoma, Amador and have never been so rudely greeted. If your time is more valuable to you than your guests, maybe you should take time off to remodel and reconsider if this the business for you. Dont let us people bother you or forbid want to pay you for a tasting on your time. Never push people away because we definitely wont return and we will let everyone else know not to bother going in. Thanks to the pregnant girl behind the bar for making me feel unwelcome on my birthday.
