Recently went to see Dusty Slay. The Punchline checked our temperature at the door, the tables are spaced far apart without being awkward. Masks were required to enter and recommend while watching but since food and beverages are available you are able to remove the masks. It was nice to get a bit or normalcy watching comedy. Yes, there is a two drink minimum but that’s applicable at a lot of venues with smaller events. It was great seeing a comic with less people attending, it made it a lot more personable. I would definitely not hesitate to go see a show due to COVID-19 concerns.

Small venue thats great because its a very close experience. Saw Paul Virzi and it was a great show with good warm up acts. The food from the diner side was better than expected. The menu is kind of a catch-all. But, if you stick to the greek / NY jewish deli fares you really cant go wrong. They have matzoh balls, good indication for whats probably their forte.

My bf and I went to the late show at 10pm. I was expecting lots of laugh and some good show but it was absolutely boring and not funny. The main comedian Dale Jones was not funny at all! I thought the 2 warm up acts was wayyyyyyyyy hilarious than he was. It was so horrible we left before Dale Jones act was over. And also... mixed drinks was $14...diner was overpriced for a mediocre food. I would not recommend this place at all.

We went here during Covid.... they were implementing social distancing and masks were required when not sitting down. Don (cant remember last name)was opening act and Dale Jones was the headline.... both were great and had audience involved, engaged, and laughing nonstop. Service was kinda slow on drinks and the drink prices were ridiculous but we were at a venue in Atlanta. . Great time!

Great location inside landmark dinner. Drinks were good and strong. Only downfall is the comedians set up a table by the exit and its very narrow 1 row wide. No way to go around if you dont want pictures or souvenirs.

The punchline is a historic club, with so many greats that have performed on that stage. It has the feel of an old school get down to it type of club. Nothing fancy just a bunch of good laughs. You never know who may show up! Do yourself a favor and come check out the Wednesday workouts hosted by Hank Denson. You will get to see Comedians that have TV, film an tours across the country. Some names you will know some you will not, but it all boils down to laughs!

First time visiting this venue. We saw Jermaine Funnymain Johnson and it was a great show. The service was really good (thank you Alberto) and the food we ordered was good. The only complaint that I would have is the fact that we attended a sold out show and it was packed. We happen to have been seated behind some very tall individuals and The viewing angle was not the best.with that being said you dont normally go to a place like this to see a perfect show. You go to see up and come and comics and thats what we did and we thoroughly enjoyed it.

As part of the Legendary Landmark Diner I am a frequent patron and enjoy their extensive menu. The seafood selections are as impressive as any restaurant in the Atlanta area, and if you love your veggies like I love my veggies you have got to order the Crispy Fried Artichoke Hearts. Absolutely delicious!

They have some great comedians here. As is typical, youll likely see a warm-up act of someone learning their craft followed by a great headliner. Show up early to have food on the diner. They have great desserts. You can get the same menu from the diner in the comedy lounge.

Nikki Glasser was great!!!! And the 2 openers were funny as well. Drinks were pretty good but table service was really lacking. Only got to order once when we were seated. No chance to order more drinks or food over a 1.5 hour show. Either need more or better servers!! Low star rating is due to the very poor service not the comedy!

This place gets packed! It’s somewhat small and they pack it in. You will be seated extremely close to other people. There is almost not enough room to get to your seat. The food and drinks are way overpriced and barely fit in the table if everyone orders. The comedy is amazing though! Had a lot of fun during the show.

Review №39

This comedy club is overpriced and the performances were not up to par for what I’ve been to. 25 bucks a ticket plus ten dollar processing fee plus 2 item minimum. The food was ok but beware the water bottles are $4 dollar per BOTTLE. Might as well be at Disney land. There were three performers. The first was ok, the second was pretty funny and the best of the three, and the main performer was only hilarious on portions of his act and mainly because a few of the audience interactions worked out great. However the main performance was short and he spent the first ten minutes pretending to warm up because as he claims no one comes straight into work and gets to work. The servers were not very nice and the check out process after the show ended was terrible. You have to wait till after the show for the waiter to input everyone’s check then hand out everyone’s check and then if you don’t have cash have to wait for him to process everyone’s check. I won’t be back to this place and hope to find another comedy club in this area in the future.

I have enjoyed going out to the Punchline to see a couple different comedians. Honestly, I really enjoy the comedians that open up for the main ones. The venue itself is small, which makes the show more intimate and personal. The staff is very accommodating to the guests. The service is very good.

I went to a show here last week. The comedy was great. The venue is pretty neat. Its attached to the diner. The bathrooms are unisex and tucked away in the corner. So its kind of hard to get to in the middle of the show. 3 stars because the show was super understaffed and I waited for an hour to get water after asking multiple times. They dont give you water when you order food. Food was just ok. Ticket price was a little steep. So were the drink prices.

Awesome place for comedy. Been here twice and will continue to go. Show is typically about two hours with two other stand-ups going ahead of the main act. Service and food are pretty good (comes from the diner to which the comedy club is attached). Always plenty of parking on a Saturday night.

Went here last night, and the comics (Opener Wellington Jukwu and headliner Anthony Bodden) were absolutely hilarious. Show started on time, lasted for about an hour and a half, and was awesome. Waitstaff provided good service. Also, they were readily available to help me with a reservation issue I had before coming to the show. Good place to see comedy in Atlanta. Better location than their previous one. However the previous venue was a bit better. They could use more staff serving drinks. It can be a bit of a wait to order but once you do the drinks come pretty quickly. Staff is very friendly and tries to ensure you enjoy your visit. There is not a bad seat in the house.

Really wanted to love this place.Pros: The location is cool and there was a pretty solid turnout for a Sunday night.Cons: The service was on the slow side. The biggest disappointment was actually the comedy itself. Several people chosen to perform were clearly not experienced - at all. It was truly painful to sit through multiple first-timers. Especially the ones who seemed pretty disingenuous about doing stand-up.I hope they rethink their system for picking open mic performers and filling open slots (rather than literally picking names from a hat).
