Beautiful event hall. There about 800 seats and the sound is great! I had a concert here with the Metropolitan Youth Symphony Orchestra. The lighting is great and really lets you see everything. From an audience perspective, if you sit in the higher seats youll have a better view of the stage if you are trying to see someone in the back. The back stage area is also nice and open. It was a little cramped for us because there were so many of us in the ensemble. However, the back rooms are full of couches. There are bathrooms backstage and there are also bathrooms in the lobby. The lobby is very nice and open with lots of space. Amazing hall!

An all around superb theater. Acoustically, I barely had to raise my voice in order to make myself heard from the stage. Very well designed indeed. The interior design choices are stunning as well. Exposed wooden beams spanning the length of the room draw your eyes to the stage at all times. I really enjoyed my visit, and cant wait to come again.

Had a great time at this venue when we went to see the BAP concert. It’s not a huge performance center, so you get a more intimate feel to the performances. The acoustics and sound quality there safe great, and the staff is well trained and efficient. They didn’t have any type of concessions when I went there, which was kind of a bummer. I’m not sure if that’s all the time of just the show that I was at though. All in all I had a great time and would absolutely go to more shows at this venue.

I attended a concert at the Rialto Theater, and I had a great time. The interior is nice and clean, and a lot larger than it looks on the outside. I love that its on the corner of intersecting streets, and it has a very classic look to it. Its a neat place to see world musical recitals or performances. Ticket prices can vary a lot, depending on who is performing. I have seen ticket prices as high as $200, and some are free. Nonetheless, I would love to visit again.

I bought two tickets totaling more than $100 online to see Celtic Christmas in Atlanta but unfortunately I was distracted and purchased them for the wrong day. I called to see if they could exchange them since I was meeting friends. The manager said that is was against their policy to exchange tickets, but if I wanted too I could spend an additional $100 plus to buy two more tickets for the following night. I tried to explain that was a lot of money and I couldnt really afford to buy two more tickets. And the worst part is they still have a lot of open seats. I simply cannot believe that an arts theater wont exchange tickets to ensure the a broad audience gets to see their performances. But as the manager stated, its only a privilege that they extend to season ticket holders. So if you cant afford to be season ticket holders, you are out of luck. They have lost two customers for life. There are other small but talented theater companies that dont have such rigid policies. Check out Serenbes. They have great performances that are accommodating to everyone. And the tickets are more affordable!!!

It was ny first time at this locale. This was my daughters graduate graduation. We were pleased with the ambassadors showing us to our seats. Hiwever, we were very very upset that their were no programs given for the 3PM graduation!! My daughters class was smaller compared to Ga State 10am program who guests received programs. This was a total disservice to family and friends iof the graduate commencement exercise @ 3pm. We have no written history to document our childrens, spouses etc. graduate experience . WHY WOULD A UNIVERSITY as Large as GA State University short change its students who have paid for their education? As well as countless hours spent finishing requirements for their individual programs. To be denied something so significant to their connencement as a program to docunent completion of a milestone is a disgrace!! Family and Friends that traveled from.distances to share in the GRADUATE EXPERIENCE of their loved one. The least that GA STATE UNIVERSITY could have done was taken time to PRINT PROGRAMS for the GRADUATE Graduating CLASS of 2019 December 17th @ 3PM... This was a SMALLER CLASS than the 10PM graduate commencement class who family and friends received them. WHAT A DIS GRACE and DISSERVICE GA STATE to be DENIED sonethibg that only took 1 hour or less to print . NO EXCUSES ARE ACCEPTABLE for this OFFENSE GA STATE UNIVERSITY to the parents, friends of the GRADUATE Graduating CLASS of 2019 , December 17th @ 3PM.HOW DOES GA STATE. CORRECT THIS DISSERVICE ? PRINT and. SEND PROGRAMS to each GRADUATE ofDec 17th , 3PM Graduate Commencement Simply, print a program and mail one wirh each students degree . Atlantas Rialto Center for the Arts consistently presents remarkable performances not available elsewhere. Perks include free validated parking at a nearby lot. And easy in house access to an elevator for those who need it. The Rialto is a Georgia State University venue and visiting artists often enriched the life of students with their master classes and workshops.

GSU has done so much for the revitalization of Downtown and this enormous renovation started it all. I believe the Rialto had always been a movie theater, but the acoustic changes and the attention to detail has made it into a true world-class facility perfect for the talent of the GSU School of Music. The lobby usually has great art work (that seems to change pretty regularly) and is open yet welcoming. The classic entrance and the large electric sign outside pay homage to the original look of the theater. The location is ideal and parking is easy, close, and affordable (for Downtown). You can easily park, see a concert, and enjoy the area before or after. The theater itself is intimate, but larger than I expected the first time I visited. The ceilings are extremely high which I am sure play a part in the great sound. Seats are comfy and the positioning of seats allows all areas to have a great view. You can rent the center and several events have been held here recently that received quite a bit of positive press for the building. It really is just a beautiful, perfect spot to enjoy great music!Fun Fact: the small side street across from the entrance is often called Marvel Street due to the constant filming of Marvel movies. If theres a Marvel movie being filmed, you can bet that little street will be hopping.

Reasonably good audio but it does make a difference where you sit. Audio quality in the Orchestra section is significantly better than the Loge section. If you attend a performance that is part of the Rialto Series, you also get free parking with validation. Traffic can get pretty gnarly in that part of downtown Atlanta, so give yourself plenty of time to reach the place.

The Rialto really rocks. Last year my neighbors daughter graduated, from Georgia State Law School. My neighbor mentioned that they had at least 36 Family members, they really wanted to do something as a group, I suggested some other places they could check out. She mentioned that they didnt want to spend $15.00 a person to see 1 movie, I suggested the Rialto, because they where showing a triology 3 Starwars movies @ 5.00 each, the last 3 made surrounded sound for all the special effects, movie screen, comfortable movie seats, a very beautiful venue, I also mentioned that they should go on line to inquire and see their calendar of events. Their relatives as far as the West coast, UK, still email my neighbor to say that they fell in love Georgia, My son and I also went, my son told by his ROTC group, every one was impressed by the sights and sounds of the Rialto, Atlanta Georgia, bldg, is owned by Georgia State.
