This is a dream come true for every arcade lover. The ambiance is cool with various arcade games, jenga, pool tables and so on. This is how I brought in my 2020 new year. Who knew how this year was going to turn out.

Pretty cool place! They have street fighter, drinks are cheap, and they have a great assortment of cocktails, beers and wines. This is a low key chill place with a second room that is filled with couches and board games.Joystick is a fun place to sit relax and hang with some friends. Parking can be a pain, however.

Enjoyed both my cowboy+Indians cocktail and double shot bourbon coffee slushie. Bartenders were all friendly and we were served quickly. Good amount of comfy seating, we (two of us) were able to find a spot to sit even on a Saturday. Small selection of arcade games and a lot of the tabletop games were missing pieces. Overall a good experience and Ill be back, but hope to see maybe a bit more tabletop options and another game or two.

A little grimey in decor, but a cool concept- bar, meets arcade, plus board games, and local in-house pop-up restaurant. When I visited the resident foodie was 95th Street Tacos. Im not sure who ownership will replace this eatery with, cause at $10 for 3 tacos plus chips, they serve up the best bar meal ever!!! Arrived at around 6pm, which allowed my kids to eat and play arcade games for a solid two hours- kids are allowed before 8pm. Their Old Fashion was nice, but I especially loved the Chriss Hot Boi drink. I also loved the can of Narragansett lager. They also have a coin machine and paintings by extraordinary local artists on display. I was told you can charge a roll of quarters to your card on tab for a $1 service fee. LGBTQIA friendly.

I only go here for the Thursday Night trivia, which is always an awesome time. 5 Stars awesome. However, the place always feels understaffed, understocked, and generally under-concerned. More beer in cans and bottles then on tap, fewer taps week to week, wrong food orders, small portions, weak menu, long expedite times, wrong food orders...All of which is sad, because this place has a well curated collection of classic video games and the kind of general look and feel of a place deserving of both a better back and front of house.1 star for the 5 star trivia, 1 star for the contents of the building. Get the food, drinks and service right and Ill give you the other three stars that are there for the taking.

Great little place, good drinks and classic arcades that still require 25¢ to play. It is a quaint place made to look like a dive bar. Except it really isn’t. It has much atmosphere.Food is very tasty and simple. The menu, however, changes regularly so there are currently no burgers , which was a disappointment. It is also in a rather dodgy area. Do not traipse around here after dark.

We went to Joystick Gamebar for a friends birthday, and the concept is great. This downtown Atlanta bar have classic arcade games, tabletop gaming, and a full bar. I loved the vintage/rustic decor. We came here on a Saturday night at it was BUSY! We even had to wait in line for about 20 min before we were able to come in, and once in it was too crowded to even walk around. The games go from 25¢ to 75¢, and heres some of the ones they have: Tekken Tag, Invasion II, Popeye, Centipede, Street Fighter II, Mortal Kombat, Mrs. Pacman, TMNT - Turtles In Time, Out Run, Space Invaders, Twin Cobra, X-Men, Foosball, and more.Even though they have a large selection of alcohol, they didnt have a lot of what we asked for. They didnt have Hennessy, Jack Daniels, 1800 tequila, or Blue Curaçao for Blue Hawaiians. Really? for a downtown atlanta bar they should extend their selection. We didnt come here to eat, but they do have a small menu and they offer a lots of appetizers, and Asian dishes such as Potstickers, Crab Rangoons, Pork Belly Bowl, and Bulgogi Bowl. They also have a small selection of tacos.Monday - Saturday they stay open until 2:30 am, and Sunday until midnight. Theres no parking at all. Either try to find street parking on the streets behind (Chamberlain and Fitzgerald), or any parking garages around it.ESPAÑOLFuimos a Joystick Gamebar para el cumpleaños de un amigo, y el concepto es genial.

Creative drink menu, games are only 25 cents per play, in an age of 50-75 cents per play. Could use a couple more pinballs, but the ones I played (all three) were maintained well enough. Good place for parents to have a drink while their kids jam on 80s era stand up video arcade machines. Food menu is mostly tapas, some reviews point to burgers, which currently arent on the ever changing menu. Love the soundtrack, good mix of pop and rock, some indie. Huge couch to rest on, some books and board games to enjoy. Foosball table, kitchy movies on the bar tv... Parking is limited and metered, bring a smartphone or quarters or take the Metro, theres a stop a hundred feet away. Some say its a bad part if town. It may have vagrants, but I felt safe, and the neighborhood has many young businesses like bars and bike shops. Good Vibes...

Friendly atmosphere, with quick service. Place was a little smaller than I expected and but it was also very busy. Has about 15 or so arcade games (they all take quarters). They had a couple of change machines so you wont run out of quarters. There is a man room that contains the bar and most of the arcade games. Side room has a couple of pin ball machines, arcade games, and a lounge area for board game or to relax with others. There is a back room that seemed like the games varies. When I went they were two people playing rock band with other waiting/watching. Fun place and Id definitely go again

I want to like this place, but its much more of a bar than barcade. Ive been to barcades all over, and this place was the most grimy and unclean. The best thing about this place is there arcade games the traditional ones the ones I played as a kid. This is definitely a great place to hang out on the weekends though there is sometimes a wait, but it is worth it if you have never been.
