This a beautiful park. Lake was very low, but nice hiking trails and close to Ashland. We will definitely be back. RV park is well maintained & black top slabs.

My son and I really like this spot for camping. Campsites are not right on the lake but a short walk, approximately 1/4 mile or less, and your at the lake shore. I appreciate how clean the restrooms are especially when camping with a 5 year old. Showers were closed, so I cant comment on them. Jack, the park host for both camping trips we made this year, was super friendly and I appreciated his diligence in esnsuring all guests are camped where they should be.

Emigrant lake is the most scenic place in Ashland area. Beautiful views. The sunrise is a must see.

Clean, beautiful park just minutes away from local wineries and breweries. About 10 minutes away from downtown Ashland. Given the COVID-19 pandemic, the park staff keep the facilities even cleaner than they normally are to reduce risk of transmission. One of our favorite camping spots.

This lake is terribly low from Oregon having a drought. They still have nice areas but they are all dry and dead. This was the beginning of Nov.

Speaks for itself, a great place for some real quiet, because you are amidst the Ashland Valley hills. There is raw majestic natural nativity history here. Much of it speaks to the individual, no your not special but you can do more than your fellow average soul.

This RV campground is #1 on my list! Sites are spaced well and at an angle to maximize a feeling of privacy, despite the wide open views visible from every site. Very clean, beautiful bathroom/shower building. Trails nearby for walking around the reservoir. Rock climber? Get some practice here. Quiet and very affordable at $30/night.

Lush lawns and trees in the park areas, two boat ramps, wildlife viewing (osprey, scrubjays, acorn woodpeckers), dry and full hookup camping. Close enough to Ashland to run in for supplies, meals or the world class Oregon Shakespeare Festival. 4 bars Verizon 4G cell service. Would stay again but in the hookup campground - our 19 trailer was a very tight fit in the dry area. Would have given it 5 stars if the site were a better trailer fit and not a steep drop to the associated picnic/fire ring area.

The only reason that I dont give it 5 stars is the wind. Seems like every time we come it averages 14+ mph. Otherwise, we love it.

Very clean. Paved spots. Not a lot of room to add a tent for extras, but made it work. Short distance to swim area, park, slides and boat ramp. Best place we have camped so far. Close to town if need something. Nice job Jackson County. 10x better then Howard Prairie.

We ventured to the East side of the lake where it is less packed , but the water is very low and a lot of mud, rocky, be careful if you dont have 4wheel drive as you can get stuck easily in the mud. You drive all the way up to the water if you do.Cant fish from the shore because of the watercraft and the wake is so bad. And too shallow. The bathrooms are a pretty nice hike away from the water, there alright no trash on the floor need sanitizer at least.

My family had a fantastic time at the water slide! The dressing room could have been cleaned more regularly, but wasnt too bad. The bathrooms were clean. We loved the shaded picnic tables to put our towels and other belongings on. We ended up sitting there after our water sliding was complete to have a snack that I brought in a small cooler. I really appreciated that they had life jackets available to use for my 4 year old, at no additional cost. I wish that I wasnt just now discovering such an inexpensive and totally fun family activity.

Review №52

Id say go for it. Near the C area there is a great spot to lake swim even for young kids. The rocks very gradually enter the water and then it turns to sand. My 2 year old was weary but it still was a safe area with the right adult supervision. We went for a company luncheon so it was BUSY and bigger kids were all over so what I loved about this area is that further to the left is the nice gradual spot, and over to right about 50 feet was a little jump rock for those kids that knew how to swim well. (The rock was about 3 feet out of water, and the water was about 5ft deep or so. All the bigger kids from around 7-12 were really having fun at that spot while the adults could still be with the young kids while also seeing the older ones. Covered gazebos, stairs, would not be an easy spot for wheelchairs but would still be possible. I would recommend 2 people to help maneuver a wheelchair if it was necessary. This is just by the C area where I was. My knowledge on the rest of the park is pretty much zilch. :) Happy swimming or tanning!

I mean in the early part of the season I guess the lake serves its purpose. You can jet ski or get towed behind a boat in the water skiing why the lake is still relatively full. But towards the end of the season youre looking at a glorified frog pond.

What a beautiful place! I’m always amazed at how great the view is from the campground here. I’m sure people that have lived here forever begin to take it for granted, but the mountains are breathtaking. I’ve lived here for only two years but I’m still in awe of this wonderful landscape and scenery. Highly recommended.

Nice, man-made lake with the first views of the valley sun rise. There are a lot of noxious weeds along the pathways and toxic noise arising from the lake during early morning rowing practice. Excellent spot for photographing pilot rock and the abundant wildlife in the area.

Close to home, so we go here fairly often. The water slides are a lot of fun for the kids, but you gotta get there fairly early to get a good spot at the resort day use area, because it can fill up fast. There is also a playground for the littles and camping available. Boat launch and lots of fun to be had.

Really nice park, mostly back in sites. No laundry facility but all sites (30ish total) have full hook ups. About a 3 minute drive or 10min walk down the road is a very nice playground. Ill definitely be back. The road from hwy 66 to the actual RV park is actually pretty twisty and long. My GPS said Id arrived just shortly after turning off the hwy but I had to just keep driving for another 10min or so until I reached the very end of the road to find the RV park. Worth the drive.

The folks here were super friendly, but the campsites were on the small side with no privacy. The showers and bathrooms were clean but in the old side. There werent any services such as a store to buy snacks or drinks. Also there isnt much to do on a cloudy windy day when it is too cold to use the waterslide and lake.
