I havent used any of the fields, but generally they look well maintained and always green. My kids have used the playground from time to time. I love the disc golf course though. Tee pads are solid and fairways are well maintained.

Heather and I walk here almost every morning! It is a beautiful park with create trails and tracks. The views are great even though your in a valley and occasionally we see hot air balloons rising above the valley west of Candler. Our workout is brisk walk of 3.5 miles and we have a variety of terrain while doing it. Great place to be!

Marvelous turf baseball/softball fields. Beautiful location. Clean restrooms. Close parking...only this g needing improvement is availability of hot food from concessions Hordogs, nachos, popcorn only..all else bag chips, boxes of candy etc

Wanna play disc golf? Make the trip. Great 18 hole course.

Nice Safe place to walk. Trail.is gravel but one can also walk the paved area. Signs designate which direction to walk.

Lots of well laid-out soccer fields. Bring your own chairs there are almost no seats.

The disc golf course here is great.

Nice playground with little shade. Two separate sets of equipment: one for 2-5 year olds and one for 5 and up. Equipment is in good condition and the whole play area is fenced in.Im hoping to come back to check out some of the walking trails which appear to be the true highlight of this park/complex.

Its a nice place, big soccer fields, frisbee golf course. Playground could be bigger and the benches seem to pool water around them for a long time after it rains so sitting while your little one plays can be a bother

I wish there was a running track on this place. I actually love running here sometimes

I take my chihuahua there in the mornings and afternoons. I follow the edge of the trees and beautiful creek. There are so many varieties of trees! There are rabbits, squirrel, hedgehogs and so many cardinals, bluebirds, and many other varieties. Outstanding! I am so pleased with the maintenance. Grass is always cut, no trash lying around. Everyone who works there is so friendly. I love it!

Nice sports park in Buncombe County, they have kickball/baseball fields and other areas to play in. Parking lots and port-a-potties. Easy access off the freeway. Not too far from any area in Buncombe County.

Awesome place just wish people weren’t walking there dogs on the fields. It was the one place I thought my kids could run around and not step in dog mess.

Had a killer time playing disc golf

Depending on when you visit, you could spend a good bit of time in traffic trying to leave. Disc golf course is well laid out and challenging. Will be visiting it again!

Minus one star for access. It needs a back entrance something fierce. The soccer fields are well maintained. The disc golf course looks like a good one. It could definitely use a bike section ala Jackson Park in Hendo. On game days there are refreshments available, and there are always restrooms available also.

Soccer fields are well maintained. But bathrooms are in a galaxy far far away.

Love it!! Wish the entrance was better and maybe more sensory friendly spaces but still very fun and welcoming.

Great disc golf course!

Huge park with different areas to play a variety of sports. Reason for 4 stars is the childrens playground is muddy and stays mucky for days after and rain. They need a better ground covering.

There is a great little disc golf course here, 18 holes with a lot in the woods and some good uphill and downhill holes. Nice option if one doesnt have the time or energy for a full in Richmond Hill round. Also a great park for the kids and walking paths etc.

Rating this solely as a disc golf course. Decent variety of some open fairway shots and some in the woods. Even the ones in the woods have fairly defined paths.Its also a good place to practice since there are a lot of athletic fields and you can usually find some space to work on your form. Hole 18 is good for practicing putting and approach shots on days when the course isnt very busy; just keep an eye out for the occasional players needing to finish out their round.

Lots of sketchy people hang out here. It all seems good but watch out its a dangerous place

I play disc golf here, more than other parks. Amazing course, nice long holes, and some are tricky, dont go on a saturday because the ABYSA soccer thing, also when I did play on a saturday a car was blocking the disc golf basket, besides that I love it.

Nice clean facility. Will definitely visit again as long as its not over crowded with so many sports games. No parking spaces when its over crowded.

Be gr8 if they would have installed lighting.

Just what we were looking for: a playground near a shelter, close to the parking lot, with restrooms. Its fun for ages 5-up, clean, and well-maintained. Perfect!

This was my first visit. We were meeting someone to look at a dog. The grounds and parking lots were very well maintained. The amount of community pride and care in the park are obvious.

Great place to play soccer

Good park, four year old likes to play here. Lots of soccer fields.

This is a great soccer complex with two full size grass game fields along with many smaller sized grass game fields for younger youth soccer games. The best local Asheville club team, HFC plays games at this location. Fields are well marked and easy to find. There is a lot of parking but the parking lots can fill up quickly. I have always found parking though. There is a playground that has slides and swings that the young children like to play on. There are clean bathrooms and a sheltered picknick area. There can be a lot of traffic leaving the soccer complex because there is only one exit.

Good Safe place to walk,excersize,and let your children play in a nice playground. Good place for Parties with covered picnic tables. Very Family Friendly. Also has a Volley Ball Court and Frisbee Park and Soccer Fields

Nice park, but its a nightmare when there are soccer games. Absolute nightmare. Theres plenty of parking but the traffic only has ONE way in and out.

This is a huge park area with lots of soccer field and plenty of space for tennis, bike riding, skating, walking, dog walking, basketball, etc... There are public restrooms and appears to be well structured.

Nice picnic and playground area, good number of fields, love recycling bins, needs more parking and better food, walking areas have a lot of dirt so prepare to leave with dirty feet.

Great recreation destination with a range of activities (bocce, disc golf, soccer, walking trails, kickball, community garden, volleyball, and childrens playground).

Its a nice size park with many different activity spaces. My only complaint is that its a little tricky to find.
