Great set of trails for running, hiking, dog walking, and mountain biking. Note that the trails can get pretty soggy for a day or so after a hard rain, so keep that in mind, especially if youre coming to bike or run.

Nice course in a beautiful location. Unfortunately, its being messed with and not in a good way imo. Maybe the finished product will turn out well. If it had concrete tee pads, and all 18 holes intact I would give it a 4-5. Turf pads are really holding this course back. They are slick when wet, and they are most of the time! Still a good place to play.

Big groups of young men clogging trails. No masks. No social distancing. Now we know their clouds of heavy breathing as they hike and talk and laugh can linger in the air up to 3 minutes on these confined trails...crowded trails too. Runners spraying their breath up to 15 feet. They dont even mask up when they pass you. Its not like the air circulates in these confined trails. Too bad. Im out of here.

Great disc golf course! Very technical, a lot of elevation changes, good forest coverage. Not the best drainage and could use some better signage to find the holes, as there are also hiking trails here.Only portapotties though, so that is something that could be changed to make this an even better course.**The basket on 17 was smashed when we got there, so hopefully that will be replaced soon. It looks like a tree recently took it out in a storm.

Really enjoyed the hike here as there are several different paths to take that interconnect with each other so you wont get lost. Definitely muddy spots though so wear your hiking boots for sure! Lots of dogs on the trail so if you dont love the dogs I wouldnt come here! LOL theyre doing lots of upgrades so I expect by summertime this will be even more popular than it already is.

The disc golf course is beautiful through the woods. Unfortunately the signs and benches are in very bad shape. Also it is the busiest course Ive ever been too so you need to be patient and watch out for hikers! 16 out of 18 holes are in the woods and it is not easy but overall it was fun.

Excellent wooded course. Front 9 has a nice balance of open lines through the trees with some challenging tee shots. The back 9 is much less forgiving and will punish missed technical shots. Layout is excellent...the course plays well with virtually no interference from the surrounding multi use trails.

You cant get too lost in this park! Its contained well, and youll eventually find your way back with signs leading to the parking area. Thats good, because the signage can be rather confusing. If biking, watch for trees down on the Brown and Red trails. Theres a nice 18 hole Disc Golf course with some interesting elevation challenges.

If it had a clubhouse, this course would be five stars, otherwise RHP had some of the best golfing and good people that we love about this sport. It starts with a coupla short holes to warm up the bod, then starts working into a set of mind bending elevation shots and doesnt let up. If youre a flicker, youre gonna love this course; Ive never seen a RHBH and right forehand routes equal challenge like this course ends up.

Had an amazing day at Richmond Hill! We were visiting from Charlotte for a wedding and decided to find a close disc golf spot, and this one was a great find. We are novices at disc golf and we loved this course because it provided ample challenge without being too difficult. Lots of elevation change made for a fun hike too! Will definitely plan to come back!

Bike elsewhere. I didnt see any trail markers except for the ones at the entrance. I ended up on dead-ends a couple of times and I had to ask how to return to the parking lot. Most dogs are off-leash despite signs instructing otherwise but most of them seemed to not be a problem. I cant comment on the disc golf course but there seemed to plenty of folks playing it.

Love this park. Beautiful yet challenging 18 holes. Tons of up and down hill shots. Great time and care is put in by the local WNC club to keep this course looking and playing beautifully. (Please do your part to keep it beautiful)Great place to bring the dog and hit the walking trails that start by the practice basket at the parking lot. Double check the maps or take a picture with your phone, the trails do get a little weird once you get in there. Easy to get turned around and walk circles on the same trails

Lovely woods, a variety of trails, and plenty of room for disc golf, exercise, and peaceful relaxation. Anyone who likes being outside should find something to like about this beautiful place-- my dog lights up when we pull in. Im docking one star because while the place (thankfully) has porta-toilets, they are often not well kept and may be found in horrifying states of abuse or without TP, and can generally be smelled halfway across the parking area and field around them. As I understand it a plan is before the city that would spend money here and add real restrooms-- please do!
