Nearly every Friday for the last few months Ive taken my son to Tiny Tykes at Stephens Lee from 10am-12pm.At 1 1/2, he runs in smiling and yelling because the first hour is playing with toys we do not have at home. Tiny kitchens with pots, pans, food, a random saw. Lots of trucks and cars. Always a craft thats seasonal (egg to decorate for Easter, green mini-cupcakes for St. Patricks Day). Puzzles. A bitty basketball hoop. A box of 800 crayons. A childs dream. At 11am they move upstairs where the basketball court is covered in little bikes, cars, slides, and unbelievably, a bounce house. Some older ones might prefer the second part but honestly even if you just pick one hour for your little one, its well worth the $3.To whomever is in charge of this activity, thank you. The care you put into the programming is evident and I hope us trying to clean up the absolute chaos helps.
My friend had her baby shower here and also i used to go to toddler time here. Absolutely awesome.
Great day refereeing basketball but so many memories playing basketball over the years.
Had a great time watching the kiddos play basket ball!!
I cant say enough wonderful things about the staff here. I am a nanny and bring my little to their toddler programs- they are affordable and we look forward to them each week! Thank you all so much for helping us have activities to look forward to each week!
I had a great history lesson during my visit.
My favorite workout facility. One of the few things I miss about Asheville
Great place for your toddlers to attend and meet new friends for $3 per visit on Wednesdaysand Fridays. I believe they have a monthy fee that will save you more. Just ask the great staff. Get the kids out the of the house. They need to build socializing skills.
I LOVE IT DEARLY.. THE LITTLE FREE BOOK STAND, GRAPES,FIGS.. EATING FROM THE EARTH.EDUCATIONAL AND RECREATIONAL5 STARS
We put on an event here, and the staff were so friendly and helpful! They communicated with us up until the event and had everything ready for us when we got there. The building is very pretty and theres plenty of parking. We will definitely use them again!
Stephen Lee is the best kept fitness secret in Asheville. Free work outs, line dancing, basketball, pickle ball, womens fitness classes. It is very involved with the surrounding neighbohood and its needs.
Nice place with full court basketball. Large rooms, elevator, excellent meeting place.
I dont have a review but a question does it comes to come and play basketball
Nice set up here for my fellow veterans on the 2018 stand down

Helpful staff and great sports programs. But the people who work theyre are the best.
Run by great people
Staff very helpful could use more funding for upgrades
No pickleball on Monday, call first these days are wrong.
Historical site. Former all Black High School known as The Castle on the hill!
Great staff, rich history, really appreciate the museum room on the second floor.
Beautiful historical building, but not much going on here.
Parks and Recreation should be free for the community not for the police this is not fair for Ashevilles children not to have a place to go and play on a all wheel to go inside this summer sometimes is a fee to work out in this Center is a fee its not fair for Asheville people
Went to watch a class. Rhe building was cool.
