This place is amazing! I love the accessibly to their wood shop. The day group activities are wonderful too. Definitely gotta check it out if you havent yet already.

Wonderful building on a quiet residential street with space for dancing, particularly international folk dancing and abundant parking, but the use of the building is shared by many different activities during the day and evening until nine oclock. Thanks. Five Stars.

What a great source for seniors..great activities and super people. Love it️

This is my favorite of all the community centers in Asheville. I have done dancing here on Friday nights for YEARS! It has nice wooden floors. It has a full kitchen for events. The building is old, but more in a history way than a run down way.

Harvest House is a part of the Parks and Rec for the county. Many programs are available here. Some of them are tai chi, sculpture, weaving, and wood working. There are meeting rooms, a pool table and a nice reading room. A great entertainment meeting place.

I do International Folk Dancing there. Friendly folks, great wood floor, beginners to advanced. Great dances.They also have many other community-minded activities.

I was there as a member of the Greenville Scottish Country Dancers, meeting with the Blue Ridge SCD group. We used the large hall for dancing. There is a wooden floor on which to dance. I loved the wooden floor! The facility was very nice, having plenty of room for everyone, complete with a small kitchen. There were about 40 people in attendance. It was a good place for a dance.

A nicely run City Parks and Recreation Center for adults. The building is over 50 years old and the parking is tight, but thats because so many people want to go there. They have pool tables, a wood-working shop, and a weaving studio. They also offer bridge, majong, ceramics, stained glass, weaving and basketry classes, dancing, exercises, field trips, luncheons... (Not necessarily all at once.) :-) Call to find out when classes will be held in the area of your interest. Or go by and check it out.
