Always a spot full of wonder and awe when visiting Asheville. The spacious gallery is very well lit and very well curated. The staff is very friendly and informative. I would highly recommend making the trip here.

Amazing display of eclectic art from local and regional artists.

Gorgeous art in several mediums. People at the front desk (the curators I believe) were nice and informative; they were able to tell us about the space and artists. Half of the works were by local artists when we went!

Our daughter took us to Momentum Gallery when we visited her over the holiday. I was very impressed by the beautiful layout of the gallery and the collections within. The owner (?) was extremely knowledgeable and made us feel very welcome. As the mother of an artist, I appreciate when a gallery conveys joy at having an artists work on display and makes the effort to share the love for that work. I found an artist I absolutely fell in love with and will return to hopefully add to my collection.

I visited this gallery for the first time today with my children. The current works on display were both visually breathtaking, and thought provoking.The staff member present was so professional and friendly; she was able to answer all of my questions and direct me to exactly what I was looking for. Somewhat of a unique experience as far as art galleries go (sometimes they can be quite aloof almost as of to challenge people to be brought together or engage in intelligent conversation over , although admittedly visiting them is a rare occurence for me these days. Hopefully I will have more opportunities in the near future.

Beautiful art gallery featuring unique pieces by very talented artists. Owners are super friendly and have some great stories to share about the artists and their works. Loved visiting and excited to see their gallery out in Chicago this fall!!

Great artwork and a knowledgeable consultant.

This gallery may be one of the favorite places I visited in Asheville. The woman working there was helpful and answered my questions without being intrusive while I walked around. The art displayed was well curated with plenty of variety to suit many different tastes.

What a wonderful gallery! When it first appeared a year and a half ago, it was a welcomed addition to the downtown Asheville art scene. My wife and I have continued circling in to view the rotation of stellar artists. We always learn so much from the owners and staff who are sacred custodians of the art work in their care. We are happy to have made our first purchase today, and are looking forward to a lifetime with Andy Farkas’s whimsically deep work.

Honestly one of the most profound walkabouts through a gallery Ive been in. If you appreciate art and nature this is definitely a place to checkout. Super unique pieces to blow your mind

I ended up at both locations this past weekend. Shifra and Jordan were very generous with their time. Im so excited that I discovered the amazing Kit Paulson. They even pulled out a piece that was not on display to show me. The exhibits are beautifully curated and the gallery has a nice variety of work in different mediums. I will be back next time I am in town.

I originally saw Momentum Gallery at SOFA CHICAGO. It has incredible and versatile artwork. Its now my favorite gallery in the country. The artists are by far the best in the nation.

Incredible creativity. Kind staff. And relaxing environment. We were offered a beverage as we lounged on a comfy couch.

I was very sad when Jordan left the other Asheville gallery which for years he managed with total knowledge, professionalism and customer detailed care. But Im thrilled he has opened his own new gallery, Momentum also in Asheville. And what a treat to see that he has brought with him some of my favorite artists. This is now my second time strolling through Momentum Gallery. I keep finding new favorites.

Momentum Gallery is a must visit in Asheville. The layout is amazing and the artists work displayed there is top notch. Mariella Bisson makes my soul sing with her paintaings of the woods, water, and wild places of North Carolina. She has this amazing way of being able to make you want to be there and see what she sees. While I am not a NC native, her work really evoked in me a nostalgia and remembrance and wistfulness for my favorite woods - the White Mountains of New Hampshire. The other artist whose work really sang to me was Andy Farkas. I just loved the turn of phrase and the tie ins to the art. Probably the piece that stood out the most to me was It came to her. Just so well done - like the hint of dream meets the magic of nature.I really have to say for someone who is by no means an expert at art that I felt the entire experience was warm and welcoming. The staff is top notch, the vibe is wonderful. I recommend this gallery to anyone headed to Asheville!
