Love Apex field house but there vending machines are always broken and lowly stocked. Plus its not really their fault but if you are in the area this municipality charges PIFs which are basically mandated taxes.funny thing the parks and public spaces in this part of town are very under maintained so what are the fees exactly going to I wonder.

Awesome facility with a ton of activities. We took my nephew here to go swimming, and the swimming area is huge with a few pools and hot tub options. Next door was an ice rink and it was fun to watch the hockey practice going on. Really great place! Especially good for kids.

Place is nice, the leagues are fairly competitive, which is fun. However, the staff is very tightly wound, and the referees are so so bad. I fully understand it’s an adult indoor league and no one is perfect but these folks take it to the next level. Truly as if they’re reffing with blindfolds on. There is also a 6 foul rule? Where upon commitment of your team’s 6th foul, the opposition gets a penalty, this has ruined many games I’ve played in and truly doesn’t make any sense to me. One of the stupider rules I’ve seen in any adult league.

A well-maintained indoor facility for soccer lacrosse wiffle ball hockey and whatever else you can play on indoor turf and ice. There also other various rooms for summer camps. My son did the Lego camp this summer and really enjoyed it. We are lucky that Arvada invested in this facility.

Do not play here if you care about your safety. You will get hurt. We repeatedly asked to call the fouls, We dont care about the advantage. Just call the fouls because the more you dont call the more people are going to get hurt. This is a co-ed soccer league, not the MLS. Im the nicest guy youll ever meet, but when we get fouled over and over again and they just let it play through because you have the advantage and then someone gets hurt like me getting knocked into a wall and no foul is called, then I have to call it quits. I repeat, if you care about your safety man or woman do not play here.

Review №27

Dont play here if you are too good for top coed leagues players... refs are horrible when it comes to cry baby players who cant go up against you. You wont get called on very much and if some one chokes you pinned to the ground youll get a red card, if someone hits you against the wall youll get a red card... they will give you a card for everything another player does. Goodluck.

Apex Field House is a great facility with competitive indoor soccer teams. Unfortunately, the reffing has a tendency to be questionable at best. Im not sure if their referees even go through some type of certification, which every other complex Ive played in, from Golden to Epic in Fort Collins, has mandated their refs to have.I have noticed them actively trying to improve their referees, which is a breath of fresh of air compared to Bladium and others, but there are still a couple that dont belong reffing at the level that they are allowed. One referee told me it wasnt a foul because it wasnt intentional - as an outdoor referee for years, that isnt at all correct, and its a real issue if he/she believes that is true. The same referee sent one of our players to the box because they were being mouthy (it was a rowdy game and as an A/B level team, we have a tendency to be a little too competitive for our own good). They proceeded to begin the game before even checking if we had the correct amount of numbers on the field to restart. Our own team had to point out that no one from our team had left the actual pitch. Kind of reffing 101.One ref randomly decided we had to all go back to our bench after the game had already started to put on shinnies. I mentioned someone on the other team wasnt wearing their properly (all the way to their ankles covering about 10 percent of their shin), she said, Well they dont have to wear them correctly, they just have to be on. Very interesting. They still are one of the best complexes. Just be prepared to be baffled the majority of games by imaginary and blatantly missed fouls and misunderstandings of universal soccer rules. Hopefully things get dealt with because I do enjoy the level of play and the complex is well-maintained.

Wonderful complex and great staff. Two fields inside, separated by a really nice common area with couches, chairs, tables, and TVs. And they only allow a limited amount of teams in each league to prevent games later than 10:30pm. Thats probably the best thing about this place.

Pros:Really spacious all around - the fields, parking, lobby, etc. Its been in the 90s the past few days, but inside it was cool. League fees are reasonable (maybe they should raise them to address some of the cons below). The place is well taken care of - bathrooms are clean, turf is new, etc. Lots of different leagues, and while there are some teams sandbagging in the lower leagues, the top leagues are pretty compedative.Cons:Reffing is hot garbage. Its rec soccer, so I dont expect the refs to be any better calling a game than I play it, but when my skills degrade to this level of ineptness Ill hang it up.Far too many bye weeks. There are so many teams in the league it doesnt matter that there are two fields. The new turf is nice, but its really long and makes the game really slow. Not sure whats up with the admin of this place, but every season there are billing problems and mix ups.

This is one of the nicest indoor soccer facilities around. Ive played at Golden Goal, ASC, the bubble, etc. The amount of injuries I sustained was ridiculous due to negligence on behalf of the referees but the management has done an awesome job at getting rid of the referees that were a problem and hiring ones that realize it is not professional soccer and people have families and work so avoidable injuries are not ideal.

Played indoor soccer here for two seasons, but couldnt take the bruising anymore. Started in C league, but felt the games were too violent. Moved to D league, but everyone subs in A league people who will attack hard. Despite two refs on the field they dont call much of anything. Pretty much if you touch the ball you are allowed to lower your shoulder or jab with an elbow.
