The company does a very good job. They have an amazing worker Parker he spent hours on are vents and did an amazing job. Hell of a job amazing person great to get along with friendly guy.

Great place to splash around with the kids. The water slides are also a huge plus. They are surprisingly quick and a lot of fun for all ages.

This is an amazing place to go for so many reasons. They have an incredible indoor pool area, 2 hockey rinks, racquetball, a climbing wall, a large gym. Nice locker room facilities, and equipment rental. There is a nice share park nearby. There are private rooms where people can make time with their private instructor for things like Pilates. There are open rooms for events. There are just so many things this place has. I would say that moving to the area is a draw because of this place. Nothing else like it in the area. Not even close.

My kids favorite place to swim indoors around Denver. They love the two big slides and the obstacle course. The little kids play area is even fun for my older kids. The family hot tub is a nice temperature even for babies. We even spend time in the playground upstairs, which is free to enter.

Been here many times. Very disappointed that they will let 40 kids on the ice, but wont let parents in the stands to watch. If I can wear a mask with no limits on people into a King Soopers just down the street, I should be allowed to watch my kid play a sport Im paying thousands of dollars for.

I had my daughters birthday party here and had an absolute blast!!! Initially trying to schedule was hard because I couldn’t get through to a person, but once they called me back, they were easy to work with, friendly, have a clean facility and many options!!! We rented the Randell room which was GREAT!! Highly recommend and hope to have another party there in the future!

Rink is nice, allowing classes for kids, but parents still cant watch.

So much fun! I took my two sons (4 and 7 years old) and we did the indoor pools and indoor playground! It was a blast! The indoor water temp is perfect (we went early January) and the family hot tub is also wonderful. Great time and great prices!!! Definitely recommend!

The Apex Center has 2 hockey rinks, an amazing indoor pool, 2 water slides, lap pool, splash park, workout center, and more ... The hockey rinks are very nice, the viewing areas are great for spectators. The pool area is great for all ages and allows outside food.

I have been a member of Apex for 2 years now, with nearly daily attendance. I cannot say enough about child watch. The staff are great with the kids. The facility is clean and my kids are well cared for and able to get lots of energy out. The gym facilities are older (just added new machines) but very functional. I do wish the fitness floor had more open space, but the rock wall area works great. With the membership we get access to all the locations across the area and it adds variety and extra amenities. I highly recommend Apex to any Arvada family

Okay, this place is great. I nanny 2 children and we’ve been coming here for years. They’ve don’t lots of little classes here like sports and gymnastic, and those have been great! They also love the pool and outdoor splash pad, and the indoor playground is an amazing way to let them get their energy out when it’s too cold to play outside. Plus, the playground is free! My biggest complaint is that you’re not even allowed to bring water bottles into the playground area. If they catch you with one, they ask you to put it on the front desk... I don’t understand this at all. It’s water. I’m an adult, and I would love to be able to drink my water while I’m sitting here with my kid for 2+ hours. I understand not bringing coffee, juice, etc since the floor is carpet, but water?? I don’t know. This policy just seems really stupid. Otherwise, we like coming here.

I love it! Fun pool. Really enjoyed it until ice skating. There were three pro skaters that zoom past you. I was really scared.

Amazing place! The indoor water park was very well done. My 3 daughters as well a myself and 2 other adults enjoyed every moment. Price was inexpensive for all you were able to do. A must go.

Its a wonderful activity center full of fun things to do. Swimming, climbing, hockey, exercise machines, yoga along with all the usual classesI do have one small complaint. The water in the showers is usually a little on the lukewarm to cooler side. They cant be regulated because they have a automatic button you have to keep pushing, which is also very annoying.

We love this place. Clean and fun with pretty friendly staff. There is a free indoor play area that will rock your childs world!

What a cool place! I visited here with my sister and nephews and its such a massive complex. The pool area is amazing with tons of different areas for kids and adults both. There are jungle gyms in the water for kids and lots of hot tubs for adults. If you dont want to swim there are lots of other activities as well including an ice rink.

Beautiful community owned family Recreation center with a wide range of facilities and outdoor park amenities. Fun pool and slide for the kids.

The Apex Recreation Center is where I exercise at when conditions arent nice outside, or at night. They just replaced their weight machines. Great cardio areas; weight room with free weights and machines (Cybex); basketball courts; indoor running track; Olympic size pool; recreation/fun pools; play area; party rooms you can reserve; classes; personal trainers; and even a hockey rink. It is a super nice, well designed recreation/community center. You dont have to get a monthly membership. I use a punch card that you purchase workouts for, then they scan the card and deduct workouts as you use them.

We are thankful to have such a nice facility close to home. Our whole family enjoys the pool area. It is well maintained and has something for everyone. The center had other amenities like ice skating, climbing wall and a variety of drop in fitness classes. Weve never had a bad experience.

How do you charge parents a $4 Spectator fee to watch their children in the pool? So if you want to make sure your children are safe and no tries to kidnap or drown them you have to pay for that. No thanks.

Great amenities. Horrible staff and policies. Every single time I go staff make me feel like I’m bothering them or make me feel like a thief. NEVER have a kid’s birthday party here.

We visit here every​ time we come to Colorado! It has an ice arena and an aquatic center, as well as great workout facilities and rock climbing. Theres plenty of things to do!

Clean and well maintained facility. Pool is super fun for kids, and open skate isnt unbearably crowded. Needs more adults working during weekends, teenage staff are often confused and grumpy while others are unhelpful with their co-workers.

Great spot for the entire family. Really affordable for Arvada residents and we love the amenities. The new play area is still a hit with the kids, and the pool is always a favorite.

Most of the staff is friendly. A great place for family my grandsons love this place and so does G-Ma! Fun absolute!

The kids night out Saturdays are fantastic. $19/kid for 3 hours including dinner made for a great date night with my wife.

This place is amazing for the family and is fairly cheap. There is an indoor pool with slides and seasonal splash pad. Ice rinks, gym area with climbing wall, basketball courts, running track, and a child watch service. The apex services are great all around.

The play area is free and huge! It’s well built with a lot of things for he kids to discover. The daycare center is inside of the playground, so there is a constant flow of kids to play with! It’s designed for ages 1-10...my 3 year old had so much fun that we easily stayed for 2 hours.There is a lot of seating for parents, a child’s sized bathroom, and an attendant that helps keep order within the play area.There’s also a new splash pad, a pool with a lazy river, play structure, zero entry area, lap lanes, and so much space that it’s not even a big deal when field trips come.The building itself is easy to find and get into. The skate park is right next door.

I feel like the workout area here is like a zoo. You are in a cage and people walking by can gawk at you. The pool was big, and had lots of features. We went for a friends birthday party and that was fun. Many, many people were there that day.

Incredibly disappointed in the staff at the daycare - based on what I saw today over an almost two hour visit, I would never recommend you leave your children with the daycare at this facility. NO ONE is watching them in the general play area. I wish I had videod it. I got there and watched what was a 1-1.5yr old with NO supervision. She caught my attention because I watched three boys throw her to the ground as she was trying to climb up the toddler slide. The boys were ranging from 7-10yrs old and running full speed through the place. Then they went around again and pushed her down the slide, making her topple head over heels down it. It was a small toddler slide so she didnt appear hurt but still not acceptable behaviour of these boys. At that point I noticed the entire group were wearing green shirts (and also that no parent was losing their mind on these boys) so I had to start stepping in to stop them from throwing her around. I watched them run right into and/or topple over other small children as they raced through the place completely uninhibited by any adult. I watched two parents leaving with bloodied children after commenting that they were pushed or run Into by those big kids in fluorescent shirts. They were pushing other kids down the huge slide at the top of the structure! I found a young women, who was staff, to say no one was watching this little one yr old and her exact words were to me ya, lol, when its crazy like this we cant keep up/keep track of everyone. !!!!!! Then I said, I guess I can understand that but maybe you should then prioritize....and perhaps this 1 yr old should be part of your priority....and she said ya,let me go find her. Then my friend who came 30 mins later had to go get a staff member because those boys through a (plastic) spiky ball at his face. This is a lawsuit waiting to happen never mind the potential for serious Injury... all because the staff are not taking responsibility for their duty of reasonable care. Accidents are going to happen, but every child under THEIR supervision should be SUPERVISED and stopped from taking their activity to harmful levels (as happens with all children in an exciting area like that when parents arent watching)

Great place. Has a pool for every age group. Played with my 2 year old in kids pool and we had a blast. Hot tub is great and even got a lower temp one for the kids. Tube slides were nice to

The pool sucks its like 20° or something. that being said the hockey is great, and probably basketball i dunno.

Needs some upgrades but other than that good place. Ive only used the ice arena so not sure how the rest of the center is.

What an incredible place! When you first walk in youll be shocked at how vast this rec center is. Huge pool area with tons of slides and water features, multiple ice skating rinks, a cool gym with a giant rock climbing wall. Really fun and awesome!

Very busy and popular place. Needs more upgrades like showers that you can control the temperature on. Since they are so busy, I doubt they will bother.

There are lots of good things about this place. Swimming, gym, bball gym, climbing wall, friendly staff. These may make up for the very regular gazing that reflects an assumption of homogeneity.

This Apex location is an excellent example of a community center. A broad spectrum of classes, methodically maintained and clean. The instructors are enthusiastic and knowledgeable in their respective disciplines. I especially like the cycle burn (spin) classes. GO! and become a participant of the Arvada community. Cheers!

It was our first time there me,my boyfriend, and kids got to experience my first waterslide beautiful establishment. Just a suggestion though I noticed when we were there as my kids were waiting in line to get a tube to try the water slides, way bigger kids an even adults yanked them right out of my 11 yr old hands an said shes not in line. I think they need to make a defined line to get inner tubes so you dont have ignorant people running fun for other kids too. Other than that it was a wonderful all around experience

This is such a clean facility. The staff is great, and i can always count on a great time here. I enjoy to swim laps, while my nieces play, their favorite is the logs. They have an amazing rock climbing wall, which is a fun and hard work out. I have attended many fun events here as well. Thankful to have this rec. center close to home.

The Apex Center @ Arvada staff and referees never called any fouls for me. I literally got physically injured with long lasting bruises from fouls that their referees said, “did not exist,” even though my shins and thighs clearly proved otherwise. When I was walking out after a game one of their staff told me that a rival player was “waiting outside for me,” with a little smirk clearly showing that they did not care if I got hurt. It’s unfortunate but I can’t continue playing anywhere where my threats and/or injuries are ignored. At least their national “soccer” team will never win a World Cup, they can only win girl cups... but the usmnt men’s team is an international embarrassment like their president and it makes me smirk and smile and laugh making it all feel much better. It’s too bad americans can’t handle a little competition or notice talent when they see it.

We went to Apex for open ice skating. It was busy but super fun.

What an awesome place for the whole family. Swimming, climbing wall, hockey, working out. It has it all.

We visited with our kids and they charged $35 for the family. I think it was fair and reasonable. Our 12 and 13 years kids really enjoyed indoor swimming pool and other fun activities in the water. I enjoyed the workout and running on treadmill. It was worth driving from Colorado Springs to Arvada. I really recommend this place to everyone.

My kids loved it. It was clean and seemed well cared for. The kids slide is fun and having a kids hot tub (lower temp) was really cool. Im excited to see the splash pad this summer!!

This pool area is very nice and has a lot of toddler features. Plus the water is warmer than the other facilities. has a huge slide that is nice for older children. Only negative is seating. Not enough available chairs.

Yesterday 4-7-2019 was a Birthday Party for my grandson. The set up crew were great very friendly , Sean at the front desk (BLACK HAIR AND BEARD)WAS SO RUDE , I am not sure why Apex Center would hire someone so rude you couldnt even ask him where the party for Pena was he would mumble and then tell you real snotty right there. It wasnt like their were tons of people or a long line Sean was just rude, I was talking to different guest at the party and they say he was very rude to them as well.Please do not put him at the front desk no more he is real bad for Apex. Maybe he should join the setup crew and he can learn how to talk & treat people paying customers .

Great facilities and lots of room to have kids swim in the kiddie pool or in the lap pool. Staff is friendly. Lots of parking. Easy access into facility. Prices reasonable. Lots of seating space.

We watch Youth Bassketball and enjoy the games.

I was in the aquatics area Monday night and the senior guard (manager) had no idea what she was doing and it very noticeable. I asked one of the lifeguards her name for the purpose of writing a comment. I noticed she didn’t walk around much and when she did it was a quick pass then she went back into the guard room. As a frequent guest I know that she was not being the diligent senior guard we have seen from the others. I am very disappointed. I will not be back.

This recreational center is a fun place to take kids. Has a few attractions and obstacles kids will love. My favorite part were the slides! The rec has two different slides, one for individual persons and the other for tubes and they have single and double person tubes. Its super fun to enjoy with your partner, kids or friends. The only downside is they have limited tubes so you have to make a line to get a turn on the tubes and the lifegaurds there are not always watching so some kids take advantage of that and dont let others that have been waiting take a turn. Other than that I loved it and recommended this recreational activity to other families.

What I was disappointed in was the line for the tubes people not taking turns one life guard says after their turn they need to give someone else a turn another life guard saying they could go up as many times as they want not fair for people waiting for a turn

Was my first time there. I got the resident discount which really did save money. We went to swim and for two adults and two kids it was only 19.00.Nice pools, great Life Guards, and a nice hot tub. Cant wait to go back.

The Apex REC Center is awesome. Great for adults and kids alike. They have an amazing pool area with several water slides, a lazy river and a balance challenge inside and water fountains outside. The rock wall is one of the better ones I have found in a local REC center and the prices are not bad. Staff is always very friendly and helpful.

I love Apex!Swimming is fun. They staff some of the absolute best lifeguards Ive ever seen. The slides are a little confusing and likely need some signage to instruct where to get tubes. The kids love it and the adult hot tub is great. My only advice is to be sure to bring your own lock. The lockers that take quarters are very VERY small and theyre by the desk where you enter the gym and locker room are so youre out trying to cram belongings into spaces they dont fit with a fist full if quarters in your swimsuit. The locker room has large lockers but you need to provide your own lock. And do lock your stuff up.Kids night out is perfection! The kids can swim, play games, eat, dance and more. Theres a little toy shop set up so they can buy goggles or toys. The kids think thats pretty fun. They can get locks for the lockers for $2 I believe. Theres no supervision in the locker rooms so they really need the locks. Kid pranks = toilet floating items. Have your kids lock up.During Kids Night Out they block off the elevators. So if youre there for any other reason and need the elevator youre SOL. This is a issue that almost makes me dock stars. Apex is NOT handicap accessible during this time. And dont bother talking to the officer there because youll probably get a ticket for it.We love checking out the displays. If you just want to wander around theres lots to see.Birthday party spot! Theres rooms for cake and presents. I think people forget about Apex for birthdays.The gym is nice. Clean. People can watch you from above which is a little creepy but whatever.The ice rinks are nice. We havent ice skated here yet.All ages will appreciate Apex. There is something for all of us. Thankful to live in Arvada.

Started playing soccer here in 2013. Fun league, wonderful people and friendly staff. A bit of a drive for me but if you’re in the area I highly recommend this facility.

Kids love the indoor playground on snowy days

I take the kids I nanny to the indoor playground they have and its amazing! The jungle gym isnt too hard for them to get in and theres plenty of stuff for them to do it of the playground if your little one is too small to go up. The only thing thats annoying is once your kid goes into the playground its hard to see them unless theyre by one of the not too big windows.

I love this place! It is clean, safe, and prices are good. The Life Guards are always on it, and the pool is clean!

From basketball courts to the swimming pool a all-out great place

IF you live within their countys limits (Arvada) you can be a member and get a great admission deals for the center and all the activities, sports, and programs they offer.... Doesnt matter if your address or your ID is in the Arvada area their member limits are only around the upper class neighborhoods.. sad really.... (**Other than that great Center with many amazing amenities..***)

The adult hot tub should be hot, not warm. I also noticed that the kids area has been redone since my last visit which makes it look a lot bigger, however maybe the other side could use some spice maybe make it deeper, its been the same for a long time. Also the lifeguards arent very nice. They walk around and it seems like they dont want to be at work, they give rude faces. Otherwise we did enjoy our visit, we did some laps in the lap pool, walked through the kids area, went in the whirl pool, still had some fun.

My 5yo and 3yo love the pools, and theyre remodeling the indoors play area.
