Its nice to see they are open again. Staff is super. They let me skate an extra hour since no one else was there. Its still great weather to come out and skate before its to cold

Decently big rink for an outdoor rink. Ice conditions are challenged as outdoor rink and nearby trees. Pleasant area with some restaurants around.

It was fun when I skated last year. I called these guys today but they didn’t respond and I am really hoping if it’s open cuz it is mid October.Also please respond back to this if you know it’s open and hours?Thanks

Great place for kids. Staff is friendly and helpful. They are always watching out for people that fall and they help them up. Prices are pretty good too. 28 dollars for skate rental and skating for 2 people. Overall I highly recommend if youre looking for an outdoor skating rink.

I emailed them earlier this week, and manager responded to let me know that they will open this season. He mentioned opening sometime in early November. Glad they are going to be open this winter! I was worried Joe Biden was actually going to be right for once, after he mentioned it was going to be a dark winter.... glad he was wrong again haha.. skrt skrt

Came in there yesterday morning with my entire family +extended family and there was no issue at all. We didn’t call ahead and the wait time was almost none. Was surprised by how well a young lady there spoke Spanish to help our kids (and us, not gonna lie), I love when a place is welcoming. And that’s the kind of service I got while there. Definitely will be coming back!Espero que te veo pronto!

Came with my sister yesterday and it was so much fun. Staff was extremely friendly and the prices are pretty cheap. We enjoyed it so much well definitely be back. I also like the skates this place rents out compared to others, the ones here are padded so they dont cut into the back of you foot which allows you to skate longer. All around an excellent place to go with friends or family.

I decided to take my son for his birthday, we walked in the staff were nice, and remained that way. My kids are 7,3 so they needed the penguin to skate. It was busy and we were told it was first come first serve for them. So we did want any typical adult would do, hold on to the penguin sontbe kids can use it. While they were taking a break some one decided to complain we were holding on to it. The one of the staff came up to us and said we can’t hold on to it due to the amount of kids which we acknowledge. Later on we went and ask he could assist us with getting a penguin, he turned around as said well it’s first come first serve, I replied that’s not what you told us earlier. So was it just meant for certain people to be told that or everyone. Which he had no reply. Beside that incident we will go back. Other wise we had a good time disputes that incident which was uncalled for.

Amazing place for kids and stuff are really helpful and it’s affordable and the whole family enjoys spending time here

Came here with my boyfriend for date night and we absolutely loved it!! The staff were incredibly kind and helpful (llittle shoutout to Loan who was such a gem), and the atmosphere was really lovely with the music floating in the background. Its also nice to see that they regularly refinish the ice and resharpen the skate blades to make for a smoother experience. Overall, this was definitely the best experience Ive had at an outdoor skating rink and Ill for sure be back! 12/10 would recommend (:

Honestly the best rink in the metro area - Id give it way more stars if I could! They take care of their ice better than any other rink in the area, regularly sharpen the blades on the rentals, refinish the ice every hour to keep it in good condition, and the people that work here are all great and super friendly! I practice here every single day, sometimes even driving past other, closer rinks just to come to Pentagon. Im definitely getting another season pass here next winter! Absolutely love this rink; I dont know what Im going to do with myself when it closes for the season!

Employees are very nice and helpful especially Dana and John who are both managers and I think if you want to ice skating then go to Pentagon row.

Long lines, many people skating on the drink. Lots of fun trying to not fall out get run into by other skaters. Wish it wasnt so cold outside... my toes were frozen after about an hour of skating. Make sure to dress warm and wear extra heavy socks.

First time here as a beginner skater with my mom and daughter. We absolutely loved it. Its fun easy and a great atmosphere with music. Perfect 2018 Valentines Day!

I liked the fact that this rink was central to all the shops and restaurants that were surrounding the rink. However was a bit too over crowded with people. They need to do a better job with managing how many people can go on the skating rink. And may kids and their parents were hovered over the entrance. But overall fun experience as it was my girls first ice skating moment!

This skating rink is situated in a lovely shopping business that is not only a beautiful place to hang out but it is also useful when you are looking for a specific gift for any occasion. There are plenty of benches situated around the square for those that feel as if they are tired out quickly or simply want to enjoy the scenery. The parking lot can be a bit tricky because it may seem as if spaces are filled quickly during busy times of the day or week but there is underground parking as well that some people overlook. It may be a little bit more of a walk but it is definitely worth it. The staff is also very friendly! If you are to take a tumble while skating (especially for beginners) they are right there to ensure your safety as well as the safety of the other people on the ice. Great place!

A great place to skate with kids. They have lovely penguins that the little ones can hold onto to keep their balance while learning to skate and the skate patrol is ever vigilant. One came over immediately to check on us when my daughter fell and the penguin toppled on top of her.

They don’t let more than 3 people hold hands. Some of the attendants are nice, but others are rude. Worst ice skating experience I’ve ever had. Will not come back again.

One of the best rinks in the Metro region, I personally rank this in a top spot because of the ambiance. The rink not only is not too crowded and doesnt require a wait, it is right in the center of numerous shopping and eating options. The music was fun and the string lights added a very festive feeling.

Had a great time. Located in a beautiful Square. Lots of benches to change into ice skates, more then reasonable prices. Plenty of places within 50 feet to grab a bite to eat. Highly recommended!

We had a kids birthday party there and the staff was super responsive and accommodated us and a horde of little ones without a hassle. We were also asked to pay at the end of party as we didnt know how many parents wanted to skate which made the process easier. And most of all, everyone loved to skate there :)Thank you so very much!

Great customer service. The ice was absolutely impeccable. Never skated on better skates in my life. The nice young man behind the counter whos name was ethan Stienberg I believe gave me a helmet to keep my brain safe. Great experience. 11/10 would recommend

I was here for 12 minutes and they refused to refund me and my boyfriend. This was the first time Ive gone ice skating and the customer service that I received was horrendous. They should hire people who are more competent to deal with customers and be more polite.

I usually go with my daughter I recommend $9 /2 hours $3 for skate. I Love it... ME GUSTA LO RECOMIENDO

BEWARE! BAIT & SWITCH - Their website says $8 for adults...but when you get there they charge you $9! $1 may not be much, but it adds up to their bottom line. Also, it is a small, open air rink...apt for small kids & toddlers, but not for serious skaters.

Everything is great about the Pentagon Row Ice Rink. The people who work there, the people who skate there, the atmosphere, and the ice (they actually use the zamboni regularly!).I’ve been casually skating there for a year now, and it is honestly the best rink I’ve ever been to (and I’ve been to many in the DMV area).If you’re in the area and you want to skate, I highly recommend Pentagon Row, whether you’re a beginner or a regular at Kettler.If you’re a beginner, I also recommend their Sunday morning lessons ! Nothing makes ice skating more fun than actually knowing how to skate. ;) Trust me, skating at Pentagon Row is the Best !!!

False advertising. Site says recently renovated for year round experience. Drove all the way up here. Place doesnt even look like it exists. Called the number listed. Got voicemail saying to check out the website or leave a message. Very bad experience overall, should update your website with better information as Google maps and the website both say youre open today.

What a lovely setting for this outdoor activity. Pentagon Row is a wonderful space to to have an outdoor rink. Lots of restaurants, shopping and people watching. The staff at the rink are fabulous. Ethan, both Olivias, Cartrell and Julian were FABULOUS as usual. Been here numerous times and its always a pleasure. They keep a watchful eye out and are vigilant in their duties. Bring Gloves, warm clothes, long socks and a fun attitude. Be sure to tighten the skates around the ankles to avoid injury. Lots of newbies on the ice, so try not to run them over. Most important of all....HAVE FUN!
