This park was paid for by public taxes and now the town uses it by renting to local soccer teams which basically take over the fields and keep the public (those who paid for it) out during peak hours (5 pm-8/9 pm! I will be inquiring/making an official complaint about this to the town - soccer clubs who need filed like this every day should make their own facilities with their own money! Also the town has to be regulated to make renting of these properties fair to the local tax payers. The fields are modern turf and in excellent shape - the only reason I am giving 2 stars

Very nice area, skateboard park, soccer and bass-ball fields and also a little playground

Lots of room for dogs to run. Benches, shade, water and lighted in the evening. I took one star for the large muddy area in the smaller dog part of the park.

I enjoy the 1/2 mile track, has good elevation changes to make it a good workout. The skate park is really nice. There is a turf multi-purpose pitch. It has both lacrosse and soccer goals with multiple sets of each. The restrooms are well kept with soap and running water. There is an adult softball field that has a great drainage. The Town of Apex does a great job on the upkeep. The dog park is across the street from the athletic fields with good fencing and a separate space for small dogs. The parking is plentiful. There is also a good number of picnic tables under a covering near the jungle gym.

Pup loves it. Great room to run. Be prepared for mud if you have a water lover and a digger. The area where they fill up the water bowls can be a mess; but its summer and its hot so let them love their best lives!!

This is a great park with a ton of whole family activities (including fur babies). Skate park is amazing and offers a full afternoon of entertainment. Though it can be crowded at times.

Great little park to take the dog for a walk. In fact, no dog, no problem. The park always felt safe and there were enough people around, coming and going, to keep the place feeling safe. Remember to pick up after your pet, people.

Very nice facility. I would recommend to post a public schedule to when the field will be booked. This way people can show up when it is usable and not booked.

We threw frisbee on the baseball field which has open access and it was awesome. So glad the gates are not locked. As long as we all take care of things we can all use them.

Apex has done a great job building Hunter St. Park. There is a skate park, nice turf field, play ground, dog park and baseball field. All always seem very well kept. The bathrooms are also kept clean and there are water fountains in a couple places in the park. My family always enjoys using Hunter St park! Nice work Town of Apex!

Great soccer field, warning, although it is a public park the town manages to keep the public out as much as they can by renting the park to soccer training companies that train kids for profit therefore should own their own spaces.

Nice town park... small playground, covered picnic area with a handful of tables, dog park, skate park, soccer field, and a paved path to walk around. Lacking on shade, but its within walking distance of our place so we go here when its nice walking weather.

Great baseball and soccer fields, dog park and an incredible skate park. There is also a picnic shelter and playground beside it which is nice. Soccer fields are turf and fenced in which is awesome.

Very nice turf field. Good bathroom facilities. Also has a large dog park and skate park. There is a walking path to get some exercise while waiting for your childs game to start and a pkayground to entertain younger siblings. Nice place for a soccer game.

This playground is fenced in, with infant swings, multiple slides, a play structure that is suitable from walkers to probably 8 yrs old. There are benches to sit on, a shelter with bathrooms and picnic tables, but no shade on the actual playground. There is drink vending. Grassy areas give room for spread blankets and the best part: no sand boxes! Ha

Excellent facility with membership dog park, turf soccer feilds and a skate park. I love taking out dog to the park while my husband plays soccer.

There are lots of cool things about this park. They have a great dog park, a baseball field, soccer fields, and a skateboard park. The one thing that keeps it from getting a 5-star rating is the lack of good shade trees. This park is very well taken care of, the dog areas are kept super clean, and are in very good shape (not a lot of holes or mud). The soccer fields are turf, and the baseball fields look like they are in good shape, but I havent been on them. The skatepark is always busy and there is a wide age range of skaters who use it. The park has plenty of lighting and feels incredibly safe.

Dog park = DO NOT COME HERE WITHOUT A PASS. You can get them at the community center, need proof of rabies vaccine and they will want your address. Park looks nice, just wasnt able to use it.

Super fun concrete skatepark. Can be crowded but it comes and goes. Hard to get bored because there is so much to skate.

NIcely maintained recreational area consisting of an artificial turf soccer field, baseball field, skate park, playground and restroom facility. Location is great as it is walking distance to downtown Apex.
