A good place to stop and eat lunch in the car while driving across the state. Unfortunately, the visitor center was closed - no restrooms.

This is where the Jordan lake park office located, state rangers park their working trucks, and also a great park itself. We fish here often, even without a boating ramp, we use the shorelines to get our Kayaks into water. parking is very relaxing. There is a fishing pier too.

The person at the desk was very informative and told me what places along the lake are still open for walking on trails. All of the locations at the lake that have a beach are still closed to the public.

Was driving along and noticed the state park entrance and pulled in. What a surprise! Although I only stayed a few minutes, I saw enough to want to come back again and again!

We had to move campsites due to high water the 2nd day. We were told to pick another campsite & then told we had to move again. Ranger worked it out so we wouldnt have to leave. Lake is beautiful for kayaking. Avoid waterfront sites.

This lake has a little something for everyone. There are trails for hiking, boats for rent, and numerous access points all across the lake where you can go fishing. After having gone fishing there a couple times already I can highly recommend it as a chill spot for weekends that is very close to Chapel Hill.

Beautiful views and great, friendly staff, roads in campground are full of ruts and in desperate need of paving. Water and power hookups only at our site, but a dump station was convenient so not a problem

Very nice center. Wildlife exhibits, literature, history and maps in a very nice and clean building, down to the restrooms. Everything was spotless, neat and orderly. The staff were inviting and informative. Very knowledgeable of recent eagle sightings and active nests. One of the nicest visitor centers I have been to.

We checked in with staff before hiking. The woman working at the desk was super helpful, helping us find a trail that was the length we were looking for and that wasnt swampy from rain the night before. She also gave us tips on looking for eagles in the area. Be advised, though, that entry to some of the parks has a fee. It was $6 for us to get into New Hope Overlook.
