Omgosh the Dow Wetlands are a beautiful place to walk around and just see nature. Do it to exercise or just to get out of the house. Either way it is a welcomed treat!

This was a nice place for a short walk along the preserve and the marina. Maybe we missed something but we only found a short paved path that led to a round-about and that was it. We were not actually able to go into the wetlands...there was no boardwalk to lead you there. There were, however, signs posted that mentioned needing to make an appointment?

This place is great. Starting at the Antioch Marina, a complete hike through the Dow Wetlands to the Lee Loop and back will take you 45 minutes at a moderate pace. Lots of wildlife and scenery to take in. I would highly recommend it!

Im only giving this 3 stars because the trail took us alongside of rail road tracks where homeless people watched us. Not to mention someone was being taken away by ambulance becuse he was overdosing or something. Everything was brown and not green like we thought. We will try to go back in the spring.

Many birds live in the wetlands that can be seen from the paved walkway. Hundreds if not more types of plants and trees to be seen along the way. I highly recommend this area. Also there is a small workout area.

This reserve is absolutely beautiful. Perfectly peaceful and tranquil anytime. Clean, well kept and perfect place to catch your breathe during a busy week. I love going here for walks and evening runs because I get to enjoy the crisp, clean air and stunning nature views/scenery.

The preserve is like a trip back in time. The only things that have been changed are that there is a wooden walkway through the marsh and some benches for us old folks. Plus there are some viewing platforms. There are no snake warnings but I am pretty sure there are snakes so beware of that.

Great place for a short bike or walk. Watch your belongings at the entrance however. There are frequently broken windows here due to either vandals or theft. May be best to park nearby and travel the extra distance than risk it.
