This is a very cool place . It was once open with out a fence around it and free to enter dirtbikes dunebuggys bicycle you name would come here to ride and drive for a day of jumping and climbing and crashing of the sand dune . They prohibit that type of activity now and provide guided tours of the forgotten dune buggy playground. Its still a cool place to visit.

We went for the docent led tour. He was very knowledgeable and we learned a lot. Not a large area, understandably. I recommend checking this out if you are interested in the ecology of the place.

Beautiful! Very clean, lots of trails and wildlife. There are viewing stands and information boards. Tons of waterfront trails, fishing access, and benches to sit on.

My son and I went here on a school field trip. It was a nice place and I enjoyed being there.

Protecting wildlife should be on everyones top priorities.
