Great family neighborhood park with basketball court, soccer post, picnic tables and childrens playground.

Lots to do. Very relaxing.

Virginia Park is an Old West Side gem. The playground is shaded most of the day and the donated toys in the giant sand box are loved by many.Near the playground are a station to get poop bags for the many dogs walkers that come through, as well as a water fountain complete with a dog bowl for thirsty pups.Theres a baseball diamond, a basketball court, and a soccer pitch, as well as a few picnic tables in various spots.

Stopped by here after leaving downtown A2 to let our 7 year old blow off some steam. The play structure was decent, but there was a lot of garbage lying around, and the grass was in desperate need of a mow. The kid got bored pretty quickly (more quickly that he typically does at other parks) and wanted to take off. I think it would be best for the younger kids, and it definitely needs a little bit better upkeep.

A good spot for dogs but I prefer eberwhite woods across the street

Small sized park, but well placed. Lots of grass, several picnic tables and benches, and lots of shade.

Great place to take my grandkids.

Its very beautiful although theres a play area on the sand of a hippo that seems to have a big black wasp nest. It doesnt have grills. Everything else is a delight.

Lovely park! My only complaint is that it is very poorly lit by the evening, so I would not recommend visiting near or after dark.

Nice park, no bathroom. When you have a two hour game it is not good when there is no bathroom.

Great park for kids

Cute park. There was a sandbox, swings, 2 slides, a climbing wall, etc. There was also a baseball field and a basketball court.

The grass is greener here

Nice neighborhood park with play area, basketball court, baseball diamond, explore-able woods, and a large amount of open space.

If theres a cuter place for both a dog to poop and a kid to frolic, I havent seen it!Im biased, though, since my friend Charlie lives right beside the park and hell brighten anyones day. If youre in the neighborhood, just try shouting his name a lot and see if he responds. Tell him Mike sent you.
