Great woods, amazingly beautiful fall colors and fields strewn with wildflowers. Whats to love? The traffic noise, unfortunately. Tune that out and its paradise.

Awesome place if you’re looking for a short hike. 1-2 mile loops in a mix of woods and wildflowers.

Nice short trail with a connection trail to another small preserve. Too bad about the noise from US-23, but after a while you tune it out.

Reviews written by a 6 year old and an 8 year old, respectively. If you like nature then you should visit Northfield Woods because there is a lot to see, and there are a lot of snakes, if you like them. If you like nature there is a pond to look in. But you might not want to go because it is so muddy, and not peaceful because you can hear the highway from the path. So maybe one day you can go with your family.Northfield Woods is an okay place to visit. One reason you could visit this place is that there is lots of wildlife, like snakes and squirrels. Some not-so-good things about this place are that it is very muddy and wet. Another bad thing is that you can hear traffic coming from the highway. I would give these trails 2 stars. If you like a short adventure you shoudl visit this place. You might want to wear light colored clothing and watch out for ticks!
